ACS (Anatan Criminal Sanctuary), Southern Anatan Sea
The opening for this chapter is stationed inside the ACS, a facility known as home to Anata's most dangerous criminals that were to never see the light of day again. Inside this prison was the father of LUO boss Nana, who, over twenty years ago, had been convicted for international terrorism. His presence in the ACS also connected to the very first mission of Team Cytron, back when their members were only 14-17 years of age. Nana's father slowly opened his eyes to see his son walking across the bridge leading to his prison cell, creating a feeling of excitement that rapidly expanded throughout his body. The tight strings that held him up restrained his movement and flow of power, completely preventing him from using it any further. "It is only a matter of time before our search for the person who inherited the Will of Freedom is taken down by my forces, Father!" Nana bragged, coming to a sudden halt after reaching the end of the bridge. Instead of showing a reaction of positivity due to his son's achievement, Nana noticed the frown of complete disappointment he had adapted to receiving from his father. "So, you still haven't been able to find the man who PUT ME IN THIS POSITION!?" his father retaliated, sending another wave of power across the cell that had just barely been restrained by the ropes holding him up. "The last record I saw of him was five years ago, revolving around some entity attack that nearly wiped out Crystal City!" he whined in disappointment. "After that, he just disappeared along with the flow of time - there's no way to surely track where he is or what he's doing at the moment!"
Yura (Nana's father) let out an exaggerated sigh, focusing his red, glowing eyes back on his son. "After we plunge the world into absolute chaos, I promise to break you out of here if it's the last thing I do!"
For the entirety of his childhood and part of his adulthood, Nana had always craved attention from his father - whether it would awaken from small robberies in his home village as a kid to plan to send the world into absolute chaos, it had already been proven that he would do anything for approval.
The large doors to the cell opened yet again, instantly grabbing the attention of Nana and Yura. "I recommend you two to give up on searching for the man who took Yura down all those years ago - after all, he's no longer present in this time period." Jorgen, the biggest scientist in the entity world, had appeared before Nana and Yura.
Volume 13, Chapter 34 - Jorgen Appears
"Out of all places, you're here in Anata listening to a family conversation?" Yura asked, his raspy voice echoing across the room. "Firstly, you brought my family into a conversation regarding yours alone. Secondly, don't try anything sneaky - I've accounted for any possible outcome that could result from this." Nana completely disregarded Jorgen's follow-up warning - instead, he had stayed focused on the unusual flow of power from his glasses that helped facilitate the energy flowing through his body. "I'll take out anyone, even the world's greatest scientist, to APPEAR VICTORIOUS ABOVE EVERYBODY!" Nana's power raced across the glass bridge right in the direction of Jorgen, who stood completely still despite his circumstances. "You're just like your father, Nana," he observed based on his arrogant ego.
Less than a second later, a dark ray of power acting as a rope embraced Nana completely, forcing him to lose his balance and fall straight onto the ground before Jorgen. "This power - it's impossible to counter!" Nana thought to himself, completely unable to disperse the force of the rope with his strength. "To feed your curiosity, I'll inform you that this is just a fraction of the ancient power I've been researching!"
Ever since Jorgen's departure from ART, he had begun researching eras from thousands of years ago such as the creation of the Four Paths' of Destruction, the period of carnage and war that followed the Realm God's defeat, and the most critical in the field of modern understanding - the creation and evolution of entities. "Even if I can't kill you here, I can convey a warning," Jorgen said, glancing at the shaking Yura who quietly watched everything unfold. "If you dare to resurrect the influence Thirst of Despair held on society, the new generation and old generation will join forces to make sure you are contained!"
Slowly, the force created by the rope slowly faded and ascended into the air. Nana launched an attack directed right towards Jorgen, but before it had reached its target, he had completely disappeared from the ACS.
He reemerged from the steel bridge he had been thrown against, fearful to lock eyes with his father after the encounter. "I'll find a way to reawaken the ancient power used all those years ago," he boldly vowed. "No matter what stands in my way… I WILL EXTERMINATE WILL OF FREEDOM!"
