Chapter 353 - The Underground Market

Ralph Trimus was known throughout the city of Damage Control for being the leader of a growing group named the Mutation Liberation Army, whose goal revolved around the mutated humans' dominance above normal humans, who had defied them for years and treated them like trash. Aside from his profession as the MLA founder, he was also known for being the creator of The Underground Market, a black market-like shop that stretched under half of Damage Control's sewer systems.

Gerald stumbled into the crowded shopping complex, falling on two pedestrians that were slowly walking through the country. His appearance in such a criminal location like this was something not even I, the writer of this book, could even convey the amount of stupidity it held to you. "Where the hell am I..?" Gerald thought to himself, regaining the quality of his vision as he repeatedly shook his head. "Kevin…? Kaelan…? Forrest..? I…ta…ma?" He noticed two men that towered right over him, both of them holding wooden baseball bats that continuously smacked against the opposite hand with which it was grasped. "Who the hell are you, and why are you in this location!?" one of the men shouted with his purple hair and pointy teeth. The other man with green hair and average teeth picked Gerald up without any struggle, flicking him right in the head with his enormous finger. "You know this area is only accessible to local criminals, right?" he said with his hilariously high-pitched voice. With every ounce of strength inside his body at the moment, Gerald bit his lip while desperately trying not to burst out laughing. "His voice… he sounds like a mutated chipmunk!" he thought.

"He's not a spy," the purple-haired man informed the green-haired man. "If he shows any more suspicion, then redirect him straight to the bossman.

Volume 13, Chapter 33 - The Underground Market

Less than ten minutes later, Gerald caught himself deeply invested in a wrestling match between two local bodybuilders. With each punch they landed, "oohs" and "aahs" ascended straight from the crowd, but the problem was that nobody knew who was to win this intense match. "I've gained experience from spectating Michael and Alex's sparring, and this fight wouldn't even hold a candle to the ones they have!"

A flashback in Gerald's mind, between ART and Death Desert summon

Lightning and fire roared straight through the streets of Crystal City, both leaping up into the air after a few seconds and engaging in an intense clash with each other. Michael and Alex both used every single ounce of strength left to see who was to give out first. "You idiot, you really think I'm going to lose to you!?" Michael shouted, inching his fist closer towards Alex's body. "I could say the same for you!" Alex replied, pushing his fist back towards Michael. In the distance stood Gerald and Samantha, who were too deprived of energy to stop the fight after a day of entity hunting. "Even after a full day's work, they always find the time to fight…" she said to Gerald, who let out a small chuckle due to his already existing focus on the fight. About a second later, an external force knocked both sides back through the city, allowing the dance of both lightning and fire across the streets spectated by the pedestrians. Even if Alex had been gone from the city for five years due to training, they had already known the personalities of each Team ENTITY member, leaving them with no surprise at all.

Like always, the battle between Michael and Alex had concluded in a tie.

Gerald used the stored energy in his leg to leap right over the barricade of the ring, landing right against the floor and standing straight between the two, monstrous men. "This isn't how you fight!" he claimed. "Even without being able to use the power stored inside you, doing a whole lot more than just throwing punches is key to increasing your chances of standing victorious!"

"Who the hell are you, kid?" one of the men, wearing a vibrant mask, screamed right at Gerald among the silence of the crowd that watched the match. "If you have such a problem with our fighting, then try to survive it YOURSELF!" the other man continued. Gerald glanced around him, noticing that both wrestlers were aggressively charging straight towards the center of the ring where he stood. Without even making physical contact, Gerald scattered his power across the ring, causing both of the men to fall on the ground right before him. "H-He wiped out both of the men without even touching them!" a fearful voice screamed, creating even more murmurs that engulfed the entire crowd. "I guess that's my signal to get the hell out of here!" Gerald thought to himself, using the barrier to fling himself across the crowd and back to the exit of the market. "Sorry, don't have enough time to deal with you all right nowwww!" he sang.

For the second time, Gerald had accidentally stumbled into enemy territory - first was back in the Land of Trila where he was invited onto Turia by Bubbles, where he stared down all of the generals right in their tracks. Skip a few months to the present, and he's now rushing out of a criminal market he had accidentally stumbled upon.
