Hunter and Delilah sat on the bed after freshening up. Their fingers were intertwined, just as they'd been all night.
Delilah looked up at him with sparkly eyes and a wide, sleepy smile. "I still can't believe you all pulled that off."
Hunter laughed softly. "Did you like it? Or would you have preferred an helicopter proposal or something more dramatic?"
Delilah looked down at the shiny ring on her finger. "What are you talking about? I loved it! This was dramatic enough for me, thanks." She leaned forward and kissed his lips.
"I should be thanking you for saying yes…"
Delilah rolled her eyes, "Like you expected me to say no when I already told you that we should get married."
Hunter chuckled. "I'm just saying I'm grateful you are not making me wait a year or five years or ten."
She looked at him with a small smile. "Would you have waited that long for me?"
