"Let's decide the winner!"

While Silver had indeed learned a lot from Ash, he was still Giovanni's son. Both Sneasel and Pikachu had exhausted considerable energy, and it was time to bring this battle to its conclusion.

"Sneasel, Metal Claw!"

"Pikachu, Zippy Zap!" Ash responded immediately without hesitation. Regardless of what he might be thinking internally, he didn't want to waste any more time here.

"Pika!" "Snea!"

Both Pokemon charged toward each other simultaneously. A metallic gleam flashed across Sneasel's claws as it dragged streams of silver light through the air. Pikachu galloped forward as well, electrical current wrapping around its small body as both Pokemon rushed at each other with tremendous speed.

BOOM!

The two powerful forces collided with tremendous impact. Their strength remained evenly matched, just as it had been from the beginning of their battle. As Ash observed the situation, he unconsciously turned his head to glance at the sky in the distance.

He was growing increasingly worried about the events unfolding there and had no desire to remain entangled in this fight with Silver. When Ash focused his attention in that direction, his eyes suddenly became more intense.

His eyes began glowing with a faint red light, and Sabrina, who was standing not far behind Ash, noticed the change. Her expression shifted with surprise as she looked at him with growing interest.

"Go, Pikachu!"

"Pika!"

Hearing Ash's voice, Pikachu instantly felt a surge of power welling up from within its body. Its eyes became focused and determined. For a brief moment, both Ash and Pikachu seemed to hear the rumble of thunder echoing in their ears.

A bolt of lightning struck down, and in their shared consciousness, the figures of Ash and Pikachu merged together within the crackling electricity.

CRACK!

Surrounded by thunder and lightning, an orange energy cloak suddenly materialized around Pikachu's body. Its ears became jagged and sharp, resembling bolts of lightning themselves.

The energy cloak displayed spiral and comma-shaped patterns across its surface. The golden electrical current surrounding Pikachu's body suddenly transformed into a brilliant orange color as its power surged dramatically.

Sneasel noticed the sudden change in its opponent's strength and used its free claw to try blocking Pikachu's increased power, but it could still feel the opposing force continuing to grow stronger.

The ground beneath Sneasel's feet began to crack and give way under the pressure. Even though its claws weren't necessarily touching the ground directly, its entire body was being pushed backward by this overwhelming force.

"What?!" Silver stared at the scene with shock filling his eyes.

"What is this?" Green was equally surprised. This was the first time either of them had witnessed Pikachu in this mysterious condition.

However, Sabrina was not unfamiliar with this phenomenon, since Ash had first demonstrated this power during their battle at Saffron Gym.

Even though this wasn't her first time seeing it, she still felt deeply impressed. Even when using her psychic abilities, she couldn't measure the true depth of Ash's power.

BOOM!

An incredible explosion erupted between the two Pokemon, and an orange flash cut through the resulting smoke.

In an instant, the glowing figure appeared directly in front of Silver. He stared at the orange form radiating dazzling light, the surprised expression never leaving his face.

The smoke behind them gradually cleared, and Sneasel seemed to finally register what had happened. It slowly dropped to one knee before falling forward onto the ground.

At the same time, the energy cloak around Pikachu disappeared, returning it to its normal condition.

Ash deliberately relaxed his concentration. He had more important matters to attend to next, so he didn't want to exhaust all his mental energy in this location.

Although the transformation had only lasted for a moment, it had been sufficient to defeat Sneasel. After using this power for such an extended period, Ash felt he was becoming increasingly comfortable with controlling it.

"You lost," Ash said, adjusting his cap as he looked at Silver.

Silver didn't respond immediately, and his eyes showed no trace of resentment or reluctance. Instead, he seemed almost relieved by the outcome.

Ash could sense this when he looked at him, but he chose not to comment on it. Instead, he simply called to his partner.

"Pikachu, let's go!"

"Pika!"

Upon hearing Ash's voice, Pikachu quickly ran to his side and leaped onto his shoulder. They then began running in the direction of the fused legendary birds.

Sabrina and Green immediately followed after them. Only Silver remained standing alone, walking over to Sneasel's side and gently picking up his unconscious Pokemon.

At the same time, he also looked toward the silhouette of the combined legendary birds soaring in the distant sky. After taking out a Poke Ball and recalling Sneasel, he too began walking in the direction of the legendary birds.

After discovering the appearance of the fused legendary birds, Officer Jenny, who had been at Silph Company, immediately came downstairs. She quickly assessed the situation and rushed toward the scene with her police units, knowing there was no time to waste.

Meanwhile, in the skies above Celadon City, Dragonite's Flamethrower had collided with the Ice Beam from the fused legendary birds, producing an explosion of tremendous power. Everyone in the surrounding area was fleeing in panic.

In the Pokemon Center not far from the action, many people were rushing inside for safety, but one figure pushed against the crowd to get outside and look up at the sky.

"What in the world is that?" The person who had squeezed out of the Pokemon Center stared at the legendary birds in the sky, their face filled with surprise and confusion.

"Huh?"

While trying to understand what they were seeing, they felt their shoulder move slightly. Turning their head, they noticed movement coming from within the backpack hanging behind them.

After removing the backpack and opening it, they discovered that a box inside was shaking, and there seemed to be a faint light glowing through the gaps in the container.

Unconsciously, they recalled their recent visit to Cinnabar Island...

"Congratulations! The Cinnabar Badge is yours!"

"By the way, you're Professor Oak's grandson, right? You know Ash, don't you? I have a favor to ask - if you happen to meet Ash, could you help me give this to him?"

This was something that Blaine, the Gym Leader of Cinnabar Gym on Cinnabar Island, had given to them after they completed their gym challenge, asking them to deliver it on his behalf.

They didn't know what the object was, and they hadn't been particularly interested in asking for details. Since Blaine knew their grandfather and it was just a simple delivery task, they hadn't refused the request.

The only problem was that they hadn't encountered Ash yet. But it was strange - why was this thing suddenly acting up now?

There was no time to think about it further. At that moment, the fused legendary birds in the sky began moving again. Their body once more radiated the divine glow of the legendary birds as they launched themselves toward the smoke ahead.
