Night Silver hadn't returned to Tus Nadair yet, she had a more important goal in mind. One that required a little bit of help from her, and her wives offspring, and a handful of their offspring as well. It was a rather large endeavor to help their Mother, or to some, their Grandmother.
"Remember children, do not go anywhere on your own, you should always be in a group of five. And report to me right away if you find that item."
""Yes Mother/Grandma!""
Good, with all of us on the case it'll be a little quicker to resolve this matter. An item like that can not be allowed to fall into the hands of the unworthy. Seriously, how in the hell did he get that item? Wasn't it in a place that was… Hmm, maybe someone else had picked it up? Either way, it doesn't matter how one of the most powerful World Level Items was in his hands. I just need to find it before someone else does.
Night Silver was using her special sensitivity to search for this powerful item, however, it was difficult to find given that there were numerous signatures coming off of all of Brightness' children. Though, when she counted the signatures…
"That's odd, very odd, I can't sense its power anywhere. That shouldn't be possible…" She clicked her tongue, nervous at what that could mean. "I'll have to use that spell world wide to search for it… I'll let my children take care of the land search, and I'll have the sea creatures take care of their domain."
A little bit later, Night Silver returned to Tus Nadair, and began to focus. There was a mental map of the entire planet in her mind. One that even with her speed, she'd need quite some time to properly search for the differences.
…
The 13 Heroes, now having been formally given this title by the Slane Theocracy's leaders, were resting in a rather lavish inn. Though to those who knew life in a significantly better place, it barely met the minimum requirements.
"Ugh! Why isn't there an automatic pillow cooling charm!!!! And why are these sheets so coarse!"
"Stop complaining, will you? You're not the only one who wants to get the hell out of this ungrateful country."
"Ungrateful?!"
"You heard me you cowardly pissant!"
"Hey! I res-"
"Resemble that remark? Yeah, you really do."
"Oh shut it! And stop complaining about my country's hospitality. This is the best in the land! And best on the continent!"
"You really like to hype yourselves up, don't you?"
"Hey moron who's country sucks and lies about everything, say what!"
"WHAT!" Now vehemently angry…
The other heroes laughed.
"Oh it sure would be great if we could leave this idiot here. But I don't think they'd go for that, what do you think elf?"
"Wow, a dwarf asking me for my opinion, the world really has changed." She giggled. \
"Why you!"
"I'm kidding, you get all cute when you're like that. Anyway, I don't really care about him, it's not like we're going to make battle preparations with him in any sort of important position. Not after he ran away in terror, and even lied his ass off at the award ceremony."
"To think these people are so blinded in their faith, that they believe the words of a god-kin couldn't possibly be wrong here. Seriously, what does mother see in this place?"
"Oh? So you still worship her?"
"Of course I do, she helped my whole clan out of slavery. And… Even that aside, She is an elf that is worthy of respect, no, she deserves only the highest of honors. The nation she built is truly one of immense ability, and a wonderful culture. I was unfortunate enough to be born elsewhere, but this gives me the opportunity to avenge my people, and prove that we aren't weak like many idiotically think."
The elf smiled. "You have excellent eyes, dwarf, and a rational mind. You are worthy of respect."
"AYE!"
…
"I found it!" Night Silver popped out, picked up the item, and instantly felt the power of it. Sure enough this is definitely it. The item with power strong enough to just win. A near infinite power. The Demon Emperor's Honor, it takes different forms each use… No wonder it was so damn hard to find. She teleported back, and placed the item into the most secure storage, and then reappeared with her family, to oversee the remaining preparations underway.
The Tus Nadairian armies who could pull out of their deployed locations, began to do so. Slowly of course, but they began to perform a full scale withdrawal.
…
The 13 Heroes continued their conquest of the remaining Demon Gods. Fortunately for them, none of the remaining Demon Gods were level 90 or higher, thus they were far easier to defeat. One after the other, they fell, however, without the sudden aid of Night Silver, the danger was real. And as a result, in the grand battles they fought, one of the 13 Heroes fell in battle every other battle.
In the end it took the heroes a month to successfully finish their campaign. While they were ultimately victorious, there were still an untold number of other creatures previously foreign to this world, now out there and living their lives.
Knowing the damage that could be wrought, and the likely news of Tus Nadair… The remaining members from the 13 Heroes worked to establish the guild. Coming up with a new system to rank people by, independent of levels and one that made people seem much better to the world than they really were.
It wasn't long after, that the Argland Council State sent out propaganda, this time in tandem with the Slane Theocracy- a nation who lost all of its trained god-kin to the Demon God catastrophe. Their joint claims were baseless, and utterly insane. Truly the ravings of lunatics.
However, there wasn't a single peep from Tus Nadair. Not a single word. It was silent. Even so, not a damn soul dared to claim the land as their own, just in case… People both respected and feared Tus Nadair. With them gone, the people now had to protect themselves, and could no longer rely upon the might & benevolence of the Nadairian People.
It was a whole new age. A new era where worries ran high. And just as tensions were about to run hot… A single sweet voice ran throughout the world.
"In times of absolute crisis, we will intervene. However, you must ultimately learn to protect, and provide for yourselves. I wish you the best, one day, I may open my nation's doors to you once more. Until then, I will be watching, hoping that you all grow from this experience."
And that was the last "anyone" heard from Tus Nadair.
