Deoxys slowly seemed to form a question mark with its body language.

What did I do to deserve this?

Six strong Pokémon joining forces to attack me all at once!

However, Deoxys wasn't one to simply accept defeat. It immediately switched to its Speed Forme and shot toward the sky, attempting to create as much distance as possible to reduce the number of attackers it would have to face simultaneously.

"Just like Ultraman Tiga," Chris commented with amusement.

Both had three distinct forms focused on power, speed, and balance, though Deoxys possessed an additional Defense Forme that Tiga lacked.

"Thunder!" Chris commanded, raising his hand to direct the attack.

"Raaa!" Zeraora roared in response.

Thanks to Lugia's Rain Dance, the dark clouds that covered the entire sky suddenly erupted with brilliant flashes of light. In an instant, countless lightning bolts descended from above, bombarding Deoxys directly.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

The speed of Thunder during rainy conditions was more than twice as fast as normal, and this particular Thunder was being used by Zeraora while empowered by Electric Terrain.

Moreover, under Chris's intensive training, Zeraora's Thunder was no longer limited to a single bolt. It could now summon one hundred simultaneous strikes. The number wasn't even the most impressive part—what mattered was that all one hundred bolts of lightning were targeting the exact same location.

Chris had given this technique an appropriate name: "Heavenly Tribulation Lightning."

One hundred thunder bolts without any loss of individual power was merely the beginning. The ultimate goal was ten thousand.

"Extreme Speed!"

Already in its Speed Forme, Deoxys had no choice but to rely on speed-boosting moves to dodge the barrage of white lightning bolts raining down from the sky.

Though it looked somewhat desperate in its evasive maneuvers, Deoxys managed to narrowly avoid the bombardment.

However, Chris's assault was only just beginning.

At the Spear Pillar altar, dozens of Greninja were simultaneously performing the same technique, forming spheres of concentrated energy in their hands.

They were creating "Golden Torrential Spiral Aura Spheres!"

Once formed, they took aim and fired!

Dozens of golden spheres shot into the sky like cruise missiles, all homing in on Deoxys's position.

The locked-on Deoxys could sense the tremendous energy contained within these golden spheres. If even one made contact, it would either lose consciousness immediately or sustain critical injuries at the very least.

The only advantage was that compared to Thunder, the speed of Aura Sphere was considerably slower, allowing Deoxys to evade them with relative ease.

Evade them easily? Are you certain about that?

The corners of Chris's mouth curved upward in a knowing smile.

What if the number of Aura Spheres quadrupled? Or increased tenfold?

After launching their initial wave of Golden Torrential Spiral Aura Spheres, the multiple Greninja immediately began "reloading their ammunition"—preparing the next volley of Aura Spheres.

Deoxys's pupils contracted sharply.

Those duplicates must be eliminated first!

Deoxys immediately switched to its Attack Forme and executed a long-range Teleport, attempting to strike at the Greninja through a spatial rift.

However, this maneuver had been anticipated by the clever "hunter" just moments before.

"Spacial Rend!"

Mega Gardevoir's Future Sight had predicted this exact moment. The devastating attack had been lying in wait within the spatial tear, ready for Deoxys's arrival.

"SLASH!"

A sharp, rending sound tore through the air.

Deoxys was struck directly by the Spacial Rend. Half of its body was severed on the spot, and it was violently expelled from the spatial rift.

For most Pokémon, such an injury would be fatal—there would be no need for capture because the Pokémon would be declared dead, or permanently disabled even if somehow saved.

But for Deoxys, this was nothing more than a moderate injury.

In just a single breath, the severed half of Deoxys's body had completely regenerated, restoring it to perfect condition.

"Recover," Chris muttered under his breath.

While ordinary Pokémon could only use Recover to restore stamina, Deoxys's version of Recover could actually regenerate severed limbs and body parts.

This was where the DNA Pokémon was most troublesome to defeat.

There was only one way to capture Deoxys through battle: repeatedly destroy it until it no longer had the stamina remaining to use Recover.

Based on his knowledge from his previous life, Chris had already formulated a comprehensive strategy.

Mega Gardevoir's Spacial Rend wasn't intended to be the finishing blow anyway.

During the brief moment while Deoxys was using Recover, the illusory forms of Palkia and Dialga in their Origin Formes launched coordinated attacks from both left and right sides, each unleashing their signature moves.

From one side came Roar of Time.

From the other came Spacial Rend.

Simultaneously, Gengar's massive "Demon God's Shadow" construct raised its hand like a blade and brought it down with devastating force, as though the very heavens were collapsing.

Deoxys immediately attempted to switch back to Speed Forme to dodge, but before it could move, a large purple face had somehow appeared directly behind it.

A long, wet tongue licked Deoxys from head to toe, sending a chill through its entire body.

The intense paralysis made Deoxys feel completely "frozen" in place, while shadows like flowing water had already wrapped around its body and tied it in knots.

It turned out that Mega Gardevoir had Teleported Mega Gengar directly behind Deoxys, allowing it to use the moves Lick and Shadow Sneak in perfect combination.

Evasion was no longer an option.

In response, the slender Deoxys suddenly expanded and transformed into a thick, solid "block of iron."

Defense Forme.

Objectively speaking, switching to Defense Forme was indeed the best decision Deoxys could make in this situation.

However, Deoxys's forme changes came at the cost of sacrificing other stats.

The attack power and defense of Deoxys in Speed Forme were average. The defense of Deoxys in Attack Forme was extremely low. And the speed of Deoxys in Defense Forme decreased significantly.

Therefore, in this bulky state, it became a completely stationary target.

Suddenly, the thunderbolts resumed their assault from above.

Greninja's third wave of Golden Torrential Spiral Aura Spheres arrived, converging with the first two waves that were still tracking their target.

The destructive Hyper Beam forming in Lugia's mouth erupted with devastating force.

Mega Gardevoir showed concern in its expression but maintained focus. It activated Future Sight once more, used Psychic to Lock On to Deoxys's position, and simultaneously deployed Trick Room to suppress any possible escape attempts with all its power.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

"CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!"

Artillery fire raged across the entire battlefield, and the whole world seemed to tremble from the onslaught.

These were six Pokémon whose combat capabilities were comparable to Legendary-level threats, attacking relentlessly and without mercy!

Even as the Legendary Pokémon Deoxys from outer space, could it truly withstand such a concentrated assault?

Especially considering it was only level ninety-one at this moment!

Completely locked down and unable to escape, Deoxys was bombarded repeatedly. It used Recover again and again to regenerate, enduring this cycle twenty consecutive times.

After completing yet another regeneration, Deoxys had finally exhausted all of its stamina. Its eyes displayed the telltale spiral pattern indicating it had fainted.

Chris took a deep breath and retrieved the Luxury Ball he had prepared long ago specifically for this moment.

"I'm counting on you!" he declared, hurling the Luxury Ball toward the defeated Legendary Pokémon.
