In the void, Gokumi, Vegea, Broly, and Sharuru were engaged in an intense battle against Oobu. The fighters continuously darted through the space, sometimes clashing in brutal close combat, and other times unleashing waves of energy blasts and ki bombs at each other.
Blinding flashes of light erupted now and then, and with each flash, terrifying energy rippled out, obliterating every floating meteorite fragment nearby into nothingness.
Gokumi and Vegea, like Yuujin, were Super Saiyan 3s. Sharuru's golden form and Broly's current Legendary Super Saiyan mode possessed power on par with Super Saiyan 3 as well. The four girls attacking together naturally held the absolute upper hand. Even Oobu could only desperately defend against them.
However, as the battle raged on, the four girls couldn't help but feel growing fear and dread.
Oobu was evolving — she was growing rapidly even while fighting them!
This growth wasn't just in terms of power — it was a frightening advancement in combat technique.
During the battle, Oobu was constantly learning from Gokumi and Vegea's fighting styles and converting them into her own moves.
No matter what kind of techniques Gokumi and the others used, Oobu could replicate them almost instantly!
And having seemingly learned from previous encounters, Oobu had become more cautious. She no longer allowed her body to be destroyed easily, and minor injuries could heal while she was still in combat.
With limitless stamina, insane regeneration, and a terrifying battle instinct and learning ability, she was a monster that bred despair.
Although the girls were still able to suppress her for now, if things went on like this, the tide would soon turn against them.
"Move aside, move aside!"
Super Android's voice suddenly came through the communicator. Moments later, the girls saw her figure speeding toward them through the void.
"It's Super Android!"
"Tch. Does she think fusing is enough to take this monster down?"
Gokumi shouted in surprise, while Vegea, annoyed at being interrupted, grumbled. Still, the girls quickly retreated, giving Super Android room to attack.
"Die, monster!!!"
Even though she was still far away, Super Android closed the distance in a blink, and before Oobu could react, she landed a devastating punch squarely on her.
Oobu froze, her expression blank. Her body started to swell—more and more—and then—
BOOM!!!!
"Awesome! That was amazing!"
"As expected of Super Android Mommy, she blew up Oobu with one punch!"
Yuujin and Chi-Chi arrived with the others just in time to witness Super Android's strike. Goteno and Trunksia were full of admiration.
Even Yuujin, Gokumi, and the others couldn't help but be impressed by Super Android's raw strength.
Back when she fought Cell, Super Android could already match Golden Cell, which was equivalent to Super Saiyan 3 power. Over the years, Android and Dark Android had trained alongside Yuujin and the others. Both had reached Super Saiyan 2–level strength, and their fusion — Super Android — had become even more formidable.
However, even after being blown apart by Super Android's punch, Oobu wasn't dead. Her body fragments began to cluster together, swelling and splitting — she was about to regenerate again.
With a cold snort, Super Android raised her hand and released a sharp beam from her fingertip, slicing Oobu's reforming body into pieces, then followed up with several ki bombs, blasting her to dust.
But it still wasn't enough. Soon, a cloud of pink mist began to swirl and grow in the void.
This was the terrifying monster Oobu — even a single surviving cell could allow her to resurrect infinitely!
"Damn this monster!"
Super Android was getting irritated. She raised her hand and formed a glowing orb, enveloping all the mist within. The orb rapidly shrank until it was the size of a fist, which Super Android then grabbed.
She continuously injected energy into the orb, trying to annihilate the mist composed of Oobu's cells. But the moment she paused, new mist would appear again and rapidly split and expand!
"You serious?! Even your power can't destroy her completely?!"
"Super Android, not even you can finish off Oobu?" Vegea snapped, while Yuujin asked grimly.
"No… This monster is using her own energy to protect a portion of her cells. If I stop attacking, those cells immediately start replicating."
Super Android replied grimly.
This was likely Oobu's self-defense mechanism. Whenever she was mortally threatened, her power would concentrate on protecting a small portion of her cells. Once the threat passed, these cells would rapidly multiply and bring her back.
Oobu's cells were hundreds — even thousands — of times stronger than those of normal organisms, extremely difficult to destroy. Unless they possessed hundreds or even thousands of times more power than her, there was no way to truly eliminate her!
"Yuujin, what do we do? We can't kill her at all!"
"Should we seal her away permanently?" Gokumi muttered in frustration, while Chi-Chi suggested an alternative.
"No… Even if we seal her, it'll only be temporary. It won't solve the problem completely."
Yuujin shook his head with a sigh.
In the original Dragon Ball, even the immensely powerful Vegito once overwhelmed Majin Buu but ultimately couldn't fully destroy him. Gohan was even absorbed due to a moment of carelessness. It wasn't until Goku gathered energy from the entire Earth to form the Spirit Bomb that Buu was finally destroyed.
Yuujin rubbed his temples — did it mean they had to resort to the Spirit Bomb to eliminate Oobu?
The Spirit Bomb was their ultimate trump card, the last-resort technique. Ever since learning it, Yuujin and Gokumi had never used it. Even during their final battle with Frieza, the one they formed was ultimately abandoned.
Unless absolutely necessary, Yuujin didn't want to use this forbidden power. What's more, most of the Earth's population had already been slaughtered by Oobu. The remaining people's energy might not be enough to destroy her. If they truly wanted to use it, they'd need to gather energy from the entire galaxy, or perhaps even wider star systems.
"Mom, Dad! What if we just toss Oobu into the sun? That should definitely destroy her!" Trunksia suddenly said, causing everyone to fall silent.
"D-Did I say something wrong…?" Trunksia looked nervously at her parents as everyone turned to her.
Smiling, Yuujin gently patted Trunksia's forehead—
"No, Trunksia. That's actually a brilliant idea!"
