Charlotte thought that Hannah must have heard what the children said before they jumped down.
She smiled at this thought and spat at Hannah, "You deserve it!"
Hearing that, Hannah choked with rage. She raised her hand and was about to slap Charlotte, who caught hold of her hand instantly.
She enunciated each of her words, "Don't even think about hitting me with both hands, not to mention you only have one now!"
She shook Hannah's hand off right after that as she felt disgusted touching that woman's hand.
Hannah was so furious that she could hardly breathe, whereas Charlotte turned away without a care.
Hannah calmed herself down after moments and smiled coldly. "Just wait and see, Charlotte. Lily will teach you a lesson one day!"
She then left and the gate closed again.
Charlotte was feeling uneasy at Hannah's words.
"Charlotte, did Hannah give you a hard time again?" Clara's voice came from the small hole.
