Phoenix swiftly burned the diary in his hands before Quinto could get to it. The thin diary was instantly reduced to ashes.
Quinto looked at Phoenix in disbelief. "Why did you burn it?"
Phoenix coldly said, "Ignorance is bliss. Also, don't follow me again next time. If I have a gun with me, I will shoot it regardless of who it may be."
Quinto was stunned by what Phoenix said. "I thought we're best friends," said Quinto.
Phoenix could hear the hurt in Quinto's voice, which gave him mixed feelings.
"Don't ask about what was in the diary and don't go telling others about it. It won't benefit any of you," said Phoenix, this time with a less indifferent tone.
"Why?" questioned Quinto. "Phoenix, we all share the same mommy. We're brothers. Why can't we know?"
"If you want your mommy to live well, I'd suggest that you stop wondering," prompted Phoenix.
