The 3rd match is actually more exciting than Alex thought. Well, he knows that all 4 fighters are above average, but what makes this exciting isn't their power, it's their teamwork.
Both teams have really excellent teamwork. It's like they know what their partners are going to do and will act accordingly.
In Sabertooth's case, Sting seems to be the main attacker with flashy attacks while Rogue uses more support and sneaky attacks.
But in Heaven's Runner's case, Sorano and Yukino are changing roles every now and then, being both attackers and supporters even without clear signals.
Sting uses his White Dragon Slayer Magic to shoot powerful attacks that are fast and destructive. His Dragon's Roar is basically a laser, smaller than other Dragon Roars, but has a great piercing power.
It almost hits Yukino when she tries to summon Libra. But Sorano blocks it and even redirects it to the sky, surprising both Sting and Rogue.
When Sting stops his attack, they can finally see that Sorano redirects Sting's attack simply using her hands that are covered with golden light.
"As I thought, the White Dragon Slayer Magic isn't just composed of the light element, but also the holy element. In that case, I should be able to handle it to some extent. Though it was more destructive than I thought."
Sorano looks at her palms that are burnt a bit after redirecting that attack. She would get more serious injuries if she blocked it head-on, not redirecting it.
Hers and Sting's Magic are actually quite similar because both of them use light elements and have holy power mixed.
Aside from colors, their magic's differences are their sources. Sorano's Holy Magic originated from Angels' Magic while Sting's Magic came from a Dragon.
Angels' Magic is not at the same level as God Slayer Magic, it's actually at the same tier as Dragon Slayer Magic. So if not for its golden color, Sting might be able to eat Sorano's Holy Magic.
Too bad, it's not white, so Sting won't be able to eat it, and that's why he can only defend himself from Sorano's Golden Holy Rain.
Numerous golden arrows are shot by Sorano to the sky and they fall on her targets. She covers a large area to hit both Sting and Rogue, forcing them to stay defensive for a moment.
During that moment, Yukino manages to summon Libra and Ophiuchus. She commands Libra to increase Sting's and Rogue's weights, making them unable to move.
This makes Sorano's Golden Holy Rain to hit them more easily.
But then, Rogue suddenly disapears, turning into a shadow. Libra's Gravity Change stops affecting him because shadow is weightless.
Rogue in shadow form dodges Sorano's Golden Holy Rain agilely and targets Yukino so the Gravity Change on Sting will disappear.
Yukino who realizes it quickly gets on Ophiuchus's head and the giant serpent raises its head to lift Yukino away off the ground.
Sorano changes her focus on Rogue and shoots a very fast golden light beam at the moving shadow, forcing Rogue to return to his normal form.
But then, Sting who is still affected by the Gravity Change suddenly releases glowing white aura from his body.
He's using his 3rd Generation Dragon Slayer unique skill, White Drive, a power-up skill that he and Rogue get thanks to their Dragon Lacrima. It's a strong enhancement, but not at the level of Dragon Forces.
Sting creates a white ball that shoots numerous white light projectiles at Sorano and Libra, forcing them to be on the defensive now.
His attack causes Libra's Gravity Change to disappear, so he can move freely again.
When his spell stops, a lot of dust covers the area where Sorano and Libra stood.
Sting and Rogue smirk, but then a pair of golden balls fly at a very high speed in arching paths toward them.
The golden light balls hit them and throw them back to the ground quite strongly.
Sorano then appears out of the dust smoke, having a pair of white wings and a golden halo above her head.
This is her Holy Magic's Angel Transformation which increases her power and defense greatly, but consumes her magic power rapidly.
In a sense, this is similar to Dragon Slayers' Dragon Forces and she can do it at will, and it is indeed at least stronger than Sting's White Drive as it can overwhelms him instantly.
Yukino recalls Libra because her Gravity Change can't affect Sting and Rogue anymore. She then summons Pisces, a pair of giant fish that can fly in the air.
Yukino realizes that Sting and Rogue don't have many ways to attack aerial opponents. She even unsummons Ophiuchus and gets on pisces to fly and save more of her magic power.
Rogue then uses Shadow Drive to increase his power like Sting.
Even so, they are still overwhelmes by Yukino's and Sorano's attacks. It becomes a one-sided beating with both Sorano and Yukino attacking from the sky.
Sorano uses a similar spell with what Sting uses just now, shooting numerous Golden Light bullets from her hands.
Yukino orders Pisces's pair of giant fish to shoot multiple water ball at Sting and Rogue too.
The sisters are bombarding the arena with water and golden light ball.
Sting and Rogue use their Dragon Roars, but got easily destroyed by the sisters' attacks.
They only stop after a while and now the Twin Dragons are lying on the floor. The audience thinks that Sting and Rogue are done for, until both of them stand up again.
There are bruises on their bodies, but they can still stand strong.
Just when Sorano and Yukino want to attack again, Sting and Rogue suddenly releases a big amount of magic power.
They activate their Dragon Forces, surprising Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy.
"3rd Generation Dragon Slayers, they can use Dragon Force at will, thanks to the Dragon Lacrima implanted in their bodies. They are like a combination of 1st and 2nd Generation Dragon Slayers." Alex explains briefly, which surprise the 1st Gen Dragon Slayer trio.
"How do you know?"
"Because I gathered information about my opponents. I've always told you, didn't I? Information is very important. You've won half the battle if you know about your opponents."
Before Alex finishes explaining, Sorano and Yukino bombard Sting and Rogue with the same spells to check what they'll do.
But now, both Sting and Rogue can stop their attacks quite easily. They coat their hands with White and Shadow Dragon energy, then destroy every incoming water and golden light projectiles with very fast movements of their hands.
Their speed makes their hands look like flashes of white and black colors. It really surprises Sorano and Yukino, but they believe they still have the advantage for being midair.
That is until Sting and Rogue decide to just go all out with their attacks. They can't play around too much like when they fought Natsu and Gajeel in the series because now Sabertooth's point is not the highest.
Without wasting any time, they stand close to each other before creating a pair of big white and shadow energy balls behind them.
The big energy balls then disappear, turning into small energy balls that then merge into an even smaller golden energy ball.
"Unison Raid!" Some who know it exclaim in surprise.
Sorano and Yukino also seem to know it because they've also been preparing for it. What's more, they actually attempted to use the same thing.
They merge Sorano's Holy element into Pisces's Water, creating what they call as Holy Water. The water ball that floats in front of them is shining brightly in gold color, giving off a very holy aura.
It surprises everyone because both sides are using the very difficult Unison Raid. This will be a clash of Unison Raid spells.
"Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang!"
"Holy Celestial Geyser!"
A big black-white spinning beam and a golden water beam are coming toward each other. They clash shortly after, creating a very powerful shockwave impact that shakes the stadium.
Both sides are giving their all to push the other back. But in the end, only 1 side can win, and it's the Twin Dragons.
Their Unison Raid engulfs the Agria Sisters' Unison Raid before also hitting them who fly in the sky.
It's unfortunate for the sisters, but Sting and Rogue just have more power thanks to their Dragon Forces.
Sorano and Yukino fall from the sky after losing consciousness, but Macbeth distorts the air to slow their fall.
With this, Sabertooth takes the win, getting 10 points added to their score.
People are hyped with this result, but now the most anticipated match will begin.
Fairy Tail A against Fairy Tail B, a clash between 2 teams from the same Guild, which hypes everyone even more than ever.
