Chapter 419 - A Pig

When Jim introduced himself, in those few seconds he spoke, an accent that had been absent throughout our conversation appeared.

 "You're from the deep west?"

 "All the way from Fort Worth."

 Jim had a grin as he answered, his western accent once more seeping into his speech, and he suddenly stopped, fixing me with a stare.

 "And you, Mr Lawson, are a long way from home."

 Not waiting for a reply, Jim resumed walking, and when he turned his attention to Nadia, I used the opportunity to retreat, following behind.

 If Jim and by extension his boss had been looking to rattle me with their words, then they adequately succeeded, but they would be disappointed as it would not be in the way they pictured.

 While I couldn't understand the intention behind the man's alternating accent, the information he shared, talks of Albert and the central bank, fully had my mind occupied.
