Creak, clack…

When these eerie sounds merged into a continuous noise, it was enough to make one's scalp tingle. It felt as though invisible hands were squeezing their hearts, creating a pressure so intense it was hard to breathe.

The group stared at the encroaching mannequins, then turned their hopeful gazes toward Luke.

Luke's mouth twitched.

What are you guys expecting?!

There are so many of them; how am I supposed to deal with this?

My abilities are useless against these things!

His power was purification. While god-like in certain situations, it was utterly ineffective against these animated objects.

Luke took a deep breath, forced a smile at everyone, and suddenly shouted, "Run!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, he was the first to bolt toward a gap between the mannequins.

The moment he moved, the mannequins surged into motion. Peter and the others, shouting in panic, scrambled to chase after Luke.

Although the limbs of these mannequins were stiff and hard, they were not slow. Like hyenas catching the scent of blood, they swarmed after the group.

However, after running only a few steps, Peter shouted in alarm, "Little Lamb didn't follow us!"

"What?!"

The group cried out in shock and hurriedly looked back.

They saw Little Lamb standing rooted to the spot, looking curiously at the mannequins charging toward him. He flashed a sweet, innocent smile. Just as the mannequins reached out to grab him, he threw a punch.

Bang! Bang!

Accompanied by the crisp sound of shattering material, the mannequins were blasted into flying spare parts.

Little Lamb's mouth fell open.

"Are... are they that weak?"

He couldn't help but shout the question.

Peter and the others' faces turned dark.

It's not that they're weak; it's that you're a freak of nature, okay?

"Ahhh!"

Little Lamb charged excitedly toward the remaining mannequins.

One punch, one kill. Under the speechless gazes of Peter and the others, he looked like a bratty child wrecking a relative's house. Flailing his arms and legs, he smashed every mannequin in sight.

He was having so much fun that he began moving faster and faster.

Crash!

The sound of shattering mannequins erupted on one side, and before it faded, two more mannequins were smashed into debris on the other side.

In just over ten seconds, dozens of mannequins had been reduced to a floor full of debris.

Little Lamb stood before the group, hands on his hips, his face beaming with pride.

"How was that? Aren't I amazing?"

"Amazing!"

"Badass!"

"You're protecting us from now on!"

The group did not hold back their praise.

This made Little Lamb incredibly happy. He felt a genuine sense of joy from helping others.

Just then, a rhythmic tapping sound echoed out.

Everyone hurriedly looked up, only to see something on the ceiling above them. Was that... a spider?

No!

That wasn't a spider!

Although it looked like one, it was actually a grotesque spider-monster cobbled together from the disjointed limbs of the mannequins!

It had multiple legs and arms. At the end of the limbs formed by arms, it held several severed heads. In the center of its body, several eerie plastic faces were mashed together to form its head.

A Spider Mannequin!

Looking at this monstrosity, everyone sucked in a cold breath of air.

But the scene that followed made them curse out loud.

The Spider Mannequin clinging to the ceiling aimed its lower body at the ground. Thread after distinct thread shot out from its body, latching onto the pile of mannequin debris scattered on the floor.

Then, the debris began to move. Controlled by the Spider Mannequin, the broken parts reassembled, combining to form a gigantic humanoid monster.

The monster was several meters tall, its head nearly scraping the warehouse ceiling. It possessed multiple arms, each gripping a massive weapon constructed from scrap. Its face, pieced together from shards, featured a single jagged crack, making it look terrifying.

"That is actually impressive!"

Harry couldn't help but exclaim.

This thing looked like the work of a high-level puppet master. if it changed careers, it would probably be very popular in the art world.

"Impressive my ass! Is this the time to admire it?"

Luke shouted curses at him.

Mary Jane and Heather, standing to the side, nodded frantically.

"What are you afraid of? We have Little Lamb," Harry chuckled.

Ever since Little Lamb displayed his abilities, Harry had been filled with confidence in the boy.

"I have never hated spiders this much..." Peter muttered. He looked at the excited Little Lamb and asked, "Can you handle it? If not, we need to run immediately!"

"Are you looking down on me?"

Little Lamb pouted.

While they were talking, with a soft click, the Spider Mannequin dropped lightly into the head of the giant monster. It acted like a pilot or a brain, completing the fusion.

The next second, the giant monster moved.

The massive weapons, carrying the sharp sound of tearing wind, smashed violently toward Little Lamb and the others.

"Ahhhhh!"

Mary Jane and Heather screamed.

Peter and the other two men also felt their expressions shift.

If those weapons hit them... they would be turned into meat paste.

Just as this thought crossed their minds, Little Lamb suddenly moved.

"Hah! Hah!"

Accompanied by his childish shouts, the massive weapons were blasted into powder by Little Lamb's fists.

Even though they had become larger and looked terrifying, the essence of the weapons was still just mannequin debris. Faced with Little Lamb's powerful body, they posed no threat at all.

The weapons were blasted into fragments, but the threads remained connected to the pieces.

The threads, pulled taut by the exploding debris, snapped the pieces back. The fragments were dragged in and reassembled instantly into the hideous weapons once again.

Seeing this, the group cursed aloud.

"That is disgusting!"

"Haha! This is so fun!"

Hmm?

Everyone looked at Little Lamb.

Seeing Little Lamb laughing happily, the corners of their mouths twitched.

Is this the gap in power between us?

"Sss-aaah!"

Suddenly, the giant monster's head split open, emitting a piercing shriek. Its multiple waving arms swung the weapons down relentlessly.

The fierce wind hit their faces, feeling as if it wanted to tear them apart.

But Little Lamb gave a mischievous laugh and vanished from his spot.

Bang, Bang!

The booming sounds rang out again as the giant monster's weapons were shattered once more.

But this time, before it could regenerate, Little Lamb's eyes flashed. Two beams of red light shot toward the monster's head, accurately striking the core—the Spider Mannequin—and burning it to ashes.

Clatter, clatter!

Instantly, the giant monster collapsed, turning back into a pile of scattered debris.

The group watched the fragments on the ground cautiously. After confirming there was no sign of regeneration, they let out a sigh of relief and looked at the giggling Little Lamb.

"You really are amazing!"

Everyone cast admiring glances at Little Lamb, making the smile on his face even brighter.

Just then, the warehouse door was pushed open.

Startled, the group turned to look. When they saw it was Gwen, they completely relaxed.

"What was that? Did a monster attack you?"

Gwen asked urgently, her gaze sweeping over everyone. Seeing that no one was injured, she relaxed.

"Yes, Little Lamb took care of it," Peter replied quickly.

Gwen nodded at Little Lamb. She wasn't surprised in the least; instead, her expression said of course.

Naturally. Little Lamb was the little monster of their family, after all...

"Gwen, what's outside?" Harry couldn't help but ask.

Gwen smiled. "Monsters. Many times more than during the day, but none of them can put up a fight."

Everyone: "..."

You two siblings are both monsters.

Others come to this world trembling in fear, but you two are... having fun?

"Let's keep moving!"

Gwen looked toward the end of the warehouse.

She wanted to see exactly what was going on in this world.

"Wait a moment!"

Gwen waved her hand and turned to Heather. "Do you have any clues about your father?"

"Yes!"

Heather nodded, then shook her head. "I don't have news about my father, but someone told me his grandfather is locked up in a mental hospital here. He might know something about this place."

Mentioning that person, a look of worry flashed across Heather's face.

Although Vincent was the son of the cult leader, she was still worried that he might be hurt.

"Mental hospital? Is that guy crazy?"

"I don't know."

Heather gripped the hem of her clothes tightly.

"Then let's go take a look!"

Gwen made the decision.

Heather's hand unconsciously released her shirt, and she said gratefully, "Thank you! Thank you all!"

"Let's go," Gwen said quietly. The group exited through the other door of the warehouse.

leaving the warehouse, they stepped outside.

In the dim light, Peter got his bearings. "Go right."

The others looked at him in confusion.

Peter explained, "Although this place is weird, the terrain and layout are identical to the real world. When I looked up the map of Silent Hill earlier, I memorized the locations of some key landmarks."

"As expected of you, Peter!"

Harry shouted.

Peter smiled faintly. Seeing Gwen also looking at him with admiration, he blushed slightly.

Just then, the roar of a monster came from the darkness.

Gwen gave a soft snort. She formed her fingers into the shape of a gun and pointed at the monster.

Whoosh!

A bolt of blue fire flew out, instantly burning the monster to ash.

"Move," she said indifferently, taking the lead.

With the map provided by Peter and the firepower provided by Gwen, the group arrived safely at the mental hospital without any mishaps.

Walking into the hospital, everyone felt a heavy, oppressive sensation, as if a thick dark cloud was weighing down on them.

Strange cries echoed occasionally, and waves of gloomy, ominous energy made Peter and the others pale, their nervousness rising involuntarily.

In contrast, Gwen and Little Lamb...

Forget it, better not to look at them. It's just aggravating!

The group collectively turned their heads away, ignoring the two of them.

They moved quickly. Because Gwen would shoot out a stream of fire every now and then, no blind monsters dared to trouble them, causing Little Lamb to complain about being bored.

Along the way, Heather told Gwen and the others more about her situation.

The reason she came here was that her father had been kidnapped by cultists and brought to this place. She was here to save him.

For years, those cultists had been chasing the father and daughter for reasons Heather didn't understand.

After her father was taken, she traveled toward Silent Hill with a boy named Vincent. However, as they neared Silent Hill, Vincent confessed his identity to her: he was the son of the cult leader. He had approached her solely to bring her to Silent Hill.

Vincent's sudden confession was because, during his time with Heather, he had developed feelings for her. So, he told her the truth and urged her to leave Silent Hill.

Unfortunately, they were a step too late.

They were pulled into the Silent Hill world and attacked by monsters.

When she woke up, Vincent was nowhere to be found.

"Is this what they call love?"

Luke couldn't help but sigh.

Mary Jane looked at Heather with envy.

Heather blushed slightly. "What love? We've only known each other for a few days."

"Then it's love at first sight!"

Harry nodded affirmatively, while Peter stole a glance at Gwen.

Heather became even more embarrassed.

"I'm more curious about why that monster didn't take you? Or kill you? Instead, it took your... suitor?"

Gwen asked, puzzled.

"I... I don't know either."

Heather shook her head, then realized what Gwen had called him and quickly denied it. "He's not my suitor yet!"

"I know, I know, future suitor!"

Gwen teased with a laugh as she continued walking, but a thoughtful look flashed in her eyes.

Why is the cult looking for this father and daughter? How did the monster find her? Why spare Heather, almost as if it wanted her to come here specifically to find her father...

Gwen hummed in thought as several ideas crossed her mind.

That monster is related to the cult! They wanted Heather to come here willingly!

Wait!

Gwen suddenly remembered the old woman they met earlier. She had said her daughter had become a demon. And when she saw Heather, she called her Alessa. But Alessa was her daughter...

Heather is connected to Alessa!

A spark of realization lit up in Gwen's mind.

"This is getting more and more interesting..."

Gwen muttered, a look of curiosity rising in her eyes.

Ten minutes later, the group had found nothing. Just as they were starting to get anxious, a silent figure appeared before them.

He had a muscular physique, his upper body bare, while his lower body was wrapped in a leather apron.

The strangest part was the massive, triangular metal helmet he wore.

As he walked, a blade resembling a giant door panel dragged behind him, emitting a piercing scraping sound against the floor.

"That's Pyramid Head! He is Alessa's guardian!"

Heather explained quickly, then added, "He is terrifying!"

"Terrifying?"

Peter and the others subconsciously glanced at Gwen and Little Lamb.

"Why is he here?"

Gwen and Little Lamb rolled their wrists, preparing for a fight.

"Isn't he Alessa's guardian? Is it because Alessa feels threatened?"

Peter guessed.

Pyramid Head drew closer and closer, his cold, tangible killing intent becoming more intense.

"Looks like his target is me."

Gwen said with a smile.

Little Lamb pouted unhappily.

Why isn't the target me?

Is he looking down on me?

"What do we do?"

Heather backed away, her face full of fear.

"I'll go handle it."

Gwen said, stepping slowly toward Pyramid Head.

Muscular versus petite, beautiful versus terrifying...

The intense contrast delivered a fierce visual shock to everyone.

Suddenly, the silent Pyramid Head swung his massive knife violently at Gwen.
