Chapter 187 - The Fallen Order [1]

The moment Raguel had stepped inside the former domain of Order, a chill ran down her spine. It was not a chill one would experience from fear, but a chill of disgust. It was her duty to eliminate Supreme Chaos that had nested itself here.

She had sensed the fall of Chaos that her sister Octavia was in charge of dealing with; however, she could not find the elemental that she was supposed to eliminate. This chalky desert was nothing but disgusting.

Each of the elementals that fell made the Chaos retreat and get replaced by the most holy presence of the Father's Angels. The Judge crossed her arms as she gracefully strode towards what she could feel was the center of the domain.

It did not take her long to arrive in front of what seemed to be a cage of equal power to Supreme Chaos, and inside, she noticed something curious. "Celara, I assume?" Raguel leaned forward.

Despite that, the girl who pretended to be unconscious did not deign to answer. Raguel could only ask herself. "We are enemies of Chrunus. You needn't hide from my gaze, Celara."

Raguel hovered her hand above the dark cage. As she placed her hand, she felt the Chaos scream in agony. For even her touch judged that which was impure. Yet despite her touch, it held firm.

It was truly worthy of being the Supreme Chaos. It made sense for her now; the cage itself was the reshaped Elemental. Raguel took a step back. 'You will be a good boy and shapeshift into your original form.'

Celara opened her eyes, "You... Are not of Chrunus nor are you of Order, yet you feel so familiar... What are you?!"

"Girl, that is not how you should ask questions." Raguel frowned. The silence followed, yet Raguel decided to give a chance to the insolent goddess. How could she blame someone who seemed to have been trapped for who knows how long?

"Sorry..." Celara slumped down, her hand found her way to her scarred eye, "I just was not able to speak to people in a while."

"I can tell. So, do you want me to save you or not? Fortuna vouched that you are worthy of salvation." Raguel dug her heel into the chaos-saturated land and spun toward the cage.

"Y..Yes... Get me out of here, I'm gonna make that asshole pay for what he did to me and my siblings!" Celara crawled close to the cage, although she dared not touch it.

"Celara, remember this... rushing into the fray without a plan... is frankly said... idiotic." The answer shocked the weakened goddess to her core. "Have you considered what your cage was?"

Raguel took a step back and activated [Divine Storm]. Celara covered her eyes as the radiant storm washed over the cage. However, instead of staying in its assigned form, it shattered into a gust of dark mist.

The storm ate away at it; however, it quickly repaired itself. This was the difference between Greater Elementals and Supreme Elementals.

Her Divine Storm had obliterated a Greater Chaos elemental, but the Supreme Elemental could tank it, despite receiving severe damage. It was truly unfortunate for them that they were facing the most holy of Angels.

The elemental ignored the weakened goddess as it charged right at Raguel.

In an instant, it launched a barrage of [Greater Gravity Orb]. Raguel conjured her blade and slashed at them. These gravity orbs were dangerous even to her; however, they were useless if they could not hit her.

[Break Reality], The reality around them broke, Raguel widened her eyes in a moment, and unfurled her wings. In a moment, she launched herself toward Celara before launching her miles away with a swift kick.

If someone as weak as Cleara were caught in the reality break, they would have perished instantly. She felt bad about kicking the poor girl like she was some kind of ball, but it was necessary.

The reality cracked around them. The darkness of the cosmos threatened to consume her, yet she would not allow it. "Unfortunately... You are facing the Judge." In an instant, her form was replaced by the wheels of many eyes.

[Final Judgment], The scaled appeared and the reality restructured itself. The [Break Reality] was powerful, but it could not deal with the reality created by the Angel's Apex skills.

The darkness of the cosmos was overtaken by the infinity of anguished souls. They surrounded the Chaos Elemental. These elementals would be dangerous for many, but to the Supreme Angels, they were mere inconveniences.

After all, the Angelic purity stood in opposition to the divine forces of Chaos and Order. The Angels embodied the True Order of God; the farce that pretenders played mattered not. The Elemental's soul escaped to the opposite side of the Scale.

However, elementals were pure impurity; no light sat on the other side, thus, elemental was judged unfavourably.

The elemental disappeared, and the realm returned to its former desolate state. Raguel's form burst into blinding light. Soon, the wheels of many eyes were replaced by the form Raguel preferred to assume when dealing with mortals.

Around her, the chaotic energy that seeped through the supreme Chaos dispersed almost instantly; however, she did not wish to spend time admiring the eradication of corruption. Instead, she dashed forward, Celara, who was still gripping her own stomach.

"Lady... you didn't have to kick me that hard... but thank you... I would have been toast." She stared at her, yet she showed gratitude despite the kick.

"Not a problem, you will be fine, a goddess should be able to handle some pain."

Celara grunted, "I know... I have a lot of questions. I do hope you answer at least some of them..."

Raguel reached out with her hand and helped Celara up. "Sure, but first you go to Fortuna. Father had gone to deal with Chrunus."

Celara's golden eyes widened, "That answers at least one question, but raises others, ha! Let's talk on our way."
