Chapter 16 - Chapter 16

Once Eliza, Ace, Randy, and his parents arrived back at the house, they saw the sun setting and the moon rising, so they hurried inside before Randy or Anna turned into werewolves. Randy, his friends, and his parents arrived just in time to stop Max and Abby. Randy said, "Ok, we've got to get that remote." The moonlight then shone through the window, and Randy and his parents started howling like werewolves. Eliza then grabbed the rope, pulled it, and closed the curtains so Randy and his parents would be quiet. Eliza said, "One werewolf with us is ok, but please try to avoid the windows." Randy said, "Right. Thanks, Eliza."

Meanwhile, Max showed everyone he had the moonstone ring. Max said, "Behold, everyone, I have the moonstone and not Hunter anymore. I guess that makes me the leader of this pack." All the werewolves discussed it and began to agree with him. Max said, "Now, everyone, step into the moonlight and change into your werewolf forms." Steve and Victoria then opened the skylight, and the entire werewolf pack stepped into the moonlight and changed into their werewolf forms. Once they were all changed, Max told them his plan. Max said, "And know that I have the moonstone ring, behold." Max pushed a button on the remote he had, and it displayed an image of his machine back at the pound for the werewolves. Max said, "This is the Fur Creator. With it, we'll get rid of all dogs and become rich when we turn them into fur coats and wigs and then sell them for profit." Randy said, "Not if we have anything to say about it."

The werewolves heard Randy's voice and saw him in his human form, but this time, he had purple hair, accompanied by his mother and dog friends. Randy said, "Did you think a sled dog wasn't smart enough to get out of there?" Max said, "You're too late. I got the ring back, that makes me the high howler." Randy said, "You're a liar. I got the moonstone back from Hunter. You took it from me and left me and my father in the dungeon to rot." Destiny said, "But Rodney's dead." Rodney then growled loudly and showed up right behind Randy, his mother, and his friends. Max said, "But how did you? I mean, thank goodness, you're alive." Rodney said, "No thanks to you, brother."

While they were accusing Max of his crime, Hunter drove his truck into the house and saw werewolves surrounding him. Hunter said, "Well, well, well. If it isn't the werewolf pack, hiding right under people's noses all this time. Well, now I have my proof, and it's time for all of you to die." Hunter activated a gun on the top of his truck, loaded it with silver, and started to fire it at the werewolves. While they were being shot at, the werewolves ran for their lives. Randy said, "Stop it." Hunter looked in the direction the voice had come from and saw Randy in his human form standing in the room with him. Hunter said, "Get out of here, boy, it's..." Once Randy showed Hunter his face, Hunter remembered him from three years ago. Hunter pointed at Randy and said, "You're the boy. But you were eaten. And I'm avenging you against these beasts." Randy said, "They're not beasts; they're my family." Max then snuck up from behind Hunter and hit him off his truck. Then Max deactivated the gun and saved the werewolves from all the silver that Hunter was shooting at them. Once Hunter hit the ground, he tried getting up, but he was too weak. Then he laid down and got knocked out cold.

After handling the removal of Hunter, Max received a call from Abby at the pound. Max said, "Hello." Abby said, "The machine is up and running, but there's a minor issue." Max said, "And what would that be?" Abby said, "A few of the dogs escaped and are now terrorizing the place." Max said, "Well, catch them and put them back in their cages, or you'll find yourself as wolf food." Max hung up, and Abby tried to stop the fight. Abby looked ahead and saw Jamie fighting Duke, while Evan tried to free the other animals in the pound so they wouldn't end up as wigs and coats. Once he got them all free, he told the dogs and cats to follow him. Abby then stopped them in their tracks, and they all got scared, so they ran in the opposite direction. Abby then grabbed her tranquilizing rifle and went after all the animals in the pound to catch them all and get them back.

The animals headed for the front door, but the animal control officers blocked it so they couldn't escape. Abby then shot tranquilizer darts at the animals with her rifle, but they all ran away from her. Abby and the animal control officers chased after them. While they were being chased, the dogs from the abandoned house watched the chase through the window. Abby lost them when she arrived at the next room, where the animals were kept, so she searched the rooms for them. When she found them hiding in the cat room, Evan and the other animals ran under Abby's legs, and she fell to the ground. Then they all hid behind a wall, and Evan told them to stay quiet. Abby then walked by, and they saw her, but she didn't see them. When they emerged from hiding, they attempted to head for the door again, but the animal control officers blocked their way once more. Abby said, "Block all the other exits. Enough with this ring around the rosie."

The animal control officers blocked all the doors and windows, and Abby tried shooting them while they ran. Abby then hit the animal control officers on their legs, making them drop to the floor. After the animal control officers were incapacitated, all the dogs and cats escaped from the pound through the door. Once Jamie finished off Duke, she ran right under Abby, making her fall, and then ran out the door to join the others. Then they joined the dogs from the abandoned house and headed for Wolf Manor to help Randy, Eliza, and Ace.

Abby got up and looked out the window. Once she did, she saw all the dogs and cats escaping. Abby pointed at the window and said, "Don't just stand there, bring them back. Otherwise, this plan is for nothing." While the dogs were on the run, the animal control officers got into their trucks and pursued them, as Abby had said. A crowd of people watched as the herd of dogs and cats ran through town, while animal control trucks chased after them. When they saw the chase happening, the humans used their phones to record it. On their way to Randy's house, Winnie, Rose, Jamie, Evan, Joey, Danny, Judy, and Baxter all ran the story by the other dogs and cats, explaining everything to them so they would help. As they spoke while running, the other dogs in town, even those with owners, heard everything and then joined the pack to help Randy. Winnie, Rose, Jamie, Evan, Joey, Danny, and Judy all saw more dogs joining them and became happy. Danny said, "As Randy said, 'The strength of the wolf is the pack.'" As the dog pack grew, more people recorded and cheered for them.

Once the dogs and cats got to Wolf Manor, they tried to get in, but couldn't reach the door handle. Meanwhile, Eliza hit a ball at Randy's Uncle Max, and he dropped the remote that would start the machine. Randy then picked up the remote and said, "I'd say finders keepers applies here." Merna then took the remote from Randy and said, "Works for us." Merna and Randall then ran off with the remote. Eliza said, "You get the remote, we'll help the werewolves." Randy ran after Merna and Randall while Eliza and Ace helped the werewolves. Eliza started by letting the other dogs and cats inside so they could help. Eliza said, "We might have thought that they were beastly weirdos before, but they're Randy's friends and Randy is our friend."
