The dogs started to help the werewolves as Randy ran after his cousins. Randy then kicked Merna, and she dropped the remote, making it slide across the floor to Mrs. Young. Mrs. Young then picked the remote up and wondered what it was. Randy said, "Mrs. Young, don't push that button. Just give me the remote." Mrs. Young held out her hand, and Randy took the remote from her. Randy said, "Thank you." Randall then grabbed the remote and tried to take it from Randy, but Randy wouldn't let go. Randall said, "Give us the remote." Randy said, "Zero chance." Randy then kicked Randall in his shin, and Randall hopped on one foot since it hurt.
Randy ran into the kitchen, and his cousins chased after him. Once they arrived, they lost track of Randy. Merna and Randall split up and started looking for him. Randy then peered out of his hiding place and saw Merna's legs by him. Merna then walked away, and Randy kicked a food cart at her. When she heard the cart coming, Merna turned around, saw it, and it hit her, knocking her away and against the kitchen wall. Randall then spotted Randy and tried to get the remote from him, but Randy jumped onto the counter, grabbed a frying pan, and hit Randall with it. Randy said, "That'll teach you to insult a werewolf on his birthday."
After taking out his cousins, Randy ran out of the kitchen and to the next room. Once Merna and Randall got up, they chased after Randy again and saw that he had left the kitchen. Randy then ran upstairs and hurried to the attic. When he arrived, he shut and locked the door so his cousins couldn't follow him. Randy's Uncle Max then came upstairs and saw his kids trying to get into the attic. Merna said, "Daddy, Randy's in the attic and won't let us in." Max said, "Don't worry, kids, I'll take care of it." Max then broke into the attic and searched everywhere for Randy. Max said, "Come out, Rnady. And hand over that remote so I can activate that machine and destroy you and your friends." Max heard a noise coming from behind some boxes, so he looked there but didn't see anyone. Randy said, "Try over here." Randy's Uncle Max looked behind him and saw Randy wave goodbye and jump down a chute. Randy then slid down the chute, and Max slid down after him. Once they reached the bottom, they found themselves in the garage, where they saw all their cars.
Randy ran for his life and hurried behind a door leading to the basement. Once he got inside, he locked the door, but Max broke the door down and chased after Randy. Randy hurried down to the basement, and when he arrived, he saw all the pipes they had installed for the house. Randy hid in the room, and his Uncle Max searched for him because he could smell him inside the room. Max then saw Randy running back upstairs and followed him back to the garage. Randy then grabbed his skateboard and skateboarded out of the garage.
Once Randy got outside, he heard a siren and saw the cops and animal control officers coming. Randy stopped his uncle and said, "Stop." Max said, "What?" Randy pointed at their gates, and Max saw the police and animal control officers coming. Randy said, "Excuse me. I'll take care of them, and you can't follow me, because they'll arrest you if they see you as a werewolf." Randy put on his silver watch so he wouldn't change into a werewolf. Then Randy ran into the moonlight and locked the gates so nobody could get in. Chief Surly said, "Hey, boy, let us in." Randy said, "I don't know. That seems like a horrible idea." Randy ran off, and a herd of dogs ran over his Uncle Max. Randy then took off his watch and attached it to his Uncle Max. Randy said, "Thanks for the gift, but I think it's time you tried it on. Later." Randy ran off after putting the watch on his uncle, and the dogs followed him.
Max tried biting the watch off because, as long as he was wearing it, he couldn't regain his human form, just like Randy and Rodney couldn't. Even though he was disabled, Max chased after Randy and the dogs, following them back inside. The animal control officers and the police officers then climbed and jumped the fence. Once the police and animal control officers scaled the wall, they rushed to the Wolf Family's mansion and attempted to open the doors, knowing the dogs were inside, but the doors were locked.
The animal control officers then snuck in the house through the window and followed Randy and his dog friends to the next room. When the animal control officers arrived, they saw that it was Randy's dad's study and nobody was in it. The animal control officers searched the entire area around Rodney's Study but couldn't find Randy or his dog friends anywhere. Abby then walked in and asked, "Any sign of them?" One of the animal control officers said, "None." Abby said, "Then search the whole house. We'll find that werewolf boy and those dogs if it takes all week." Once the animal control officers left, Randy opened the secret door in the floor, and they climbed out." Eliza said, "Clever move hiding a trap door under the rug." Randy said, "Yeah, now let's get out of here before they come back or before my uncle finds us." Randy lifted the head on a bust of his werewolf grandfather, pushed the button under it, and opened the secret door behind the bookcase. They all walked in and hid from Max, Abby, the animal control officers, and the police. Ace said, "Wow, how many tricks does this house have?" Randy said, "Plenty. Even more than you can think of."
When Eliza looked inside the secret passage, she saw Randy's Uncle Max waiting for them. Max then grabbed Randy and slammed him to the wall. Max said, "You want to know something, Randy. I never liked you." Randy secretly reached into his pocket and was recording everything Max was telling him without him knowing it. Max said, "That's why I gave you that silver watch. So you couldn't morph back into a boy. And why I left you at the pound. So, you and the other dogs would be destroyed and turned into a fur coat or possibly a wig for somebody else to wear. Just like your father was going to be." Randy looked down and saw his friends coming. Randy said, "We'll see about that."
Winnie bit Max's ankle, and he shouted in pain, letting Randy go. Just in case the animal control officers heard Max, Randy locked the door. Rose then put her paws together, and Joey jumped into them. Then Rose launched Joey up to Max, and he kicked him in the face, making him fall to the ground. Jamie and Evan kept Randy safe so his uncle wouldn't lay a paw on him. Danny said, "My brothers and sisters and I foiled Cruellea, so I think I can handle you." Danny bit Max on his leg, and Max screamed again, but Judy covered his mouth so he wouldn't, while Baxter asked Randy to let them out. Randy unlocked the door, peered out of it, and saw the coast was clear. Randy said, "Looks all clear." Randy opened the door and they all snuck out quietly.
