Chapter 230 - Source Origin(77)

The earring wasn't mesmerizing, it was simply small and like a kind of hoop, blackish and old, metallic and scarred, like what a pirate would wear if one remembered a pirate with an earring, it was simply normal, but so much more was underneath it that Leyk could not breathe and the same would've went for Cades, had he ever even taken a true breath inside the subconsciousness.

Inside his right hand, stretched out, right in front of himself, right in front of the pillar of motion and progress, his life's work, if one might call it that, everything he had achieved until now, laid in the form of a simply hooped, thick earring that looked more like it was meant for the finger, though quite comfortable to wear at least.

Yes, Leyk realized, he should wear it, he should show his progress, that was what he should do to prove to her what he had done just now, what he had finally achieved what miracle he had just created, all alone.

Of course that was only because he had just created it, because of his natural desire to use it, because that was his very work that now laid there, an artifact that reminded him of the forsaken golem he had once fought in that ancient, lost, kingdom in the desert, when he had first awakened aura, far too early as he now remembered, perhaps an indicator as to how talented the other Cades had been when it came to intent and it's many forms, unlike the current him who simply had to work hard, not that he wasn't very talented in other things...

Right, what did he want to do again?

Oh, yes, he wanted to put i-

But before he could do so Coures picked it up, holding it carefully between her index finger and her thumb as she brought it closer to her face, slowly smiling as she showed perfectly clean teeth that were slightly wrong in the way they were sorted, almost as if there were at least a few too many, or perhaps as if the mouth went in a bit too deep, to into the head, as if the brain wasn't entirely there, as if she wa-

"Yes, I have to admit, the motuh is hard to create when it comes to forms..."

Cades agreed loudly as she said this, though no true words were formed from his intent, and Leyk was simply just confused as to the abruptness of what they had just said, of how everything had changed from the ring, his masterpiece, the only thing he could really think about just now.

But before he could try and bring the conversation beck toward that very topic that now plagued his mind for far too long, all about a quarter minute that felt like an eternity to him, a voice suddenly resounded, though it was not truly a voice, it was simply there.

For a moment he was confused, but soon he understood it as the voice seemingly yawned and then started loudly giggling like a little child, he understood that it was Cadees, though his voice now sounded like a little child, boyish though, perhaps another test he was doing, something that unnerved Leyk even further but did distract him from the earring.

"So I can talk now? This will be fun..." the voice sounded excited and a bit mischievous, but also incredibly laxed for the situation he had suddenly found himself in.

"Indeed, I had wanted to talk with you for quite a bit, and I see you also have a bit of experience in making the body..."her voice sounded laxed as well, a bit free actually, as if she was really not caring about anything, perhaps due to the fact that she could easily kill them if she truly wanted, simply choosing not to do it.

Actually, he should probably just listen and shut his brain off Leyk now realized, sighing slightly, and instantly fearing for his live as he shut his eyes, or at least thought that he'd do so, he didn't though, because there was a god in front of his face.

"I have to say, the mouth, and even the other intestines and organs are so confusing, I mean, I understand what it all is, that's just instinctive knowledge and all, but the dimensions, lengths, measurements, and even just the depth it is allowed to go is so weird when one had control over the space and dimensions in the place they are crafting the form, isn't it?" he laughed.

"That's the next difficult thing after the steps in the beginning, arms, feet, everything, though at one point you can kinda stop caring about it, mostly when one ascends to a higher god, because organs are simply of secondary matter at that point, or you use the stored experience within the subconsciousness to learn, as you already said." she laughed as well, though higher than the child, and deeper as well, an enigma, as well as so much else about her.

"Yeah..." he seemed to roll his head back and shrug his imaginary shoulders, "but in the end the reactions I'm going to get are so going to be worth it..." he grinned devilishly(, thought he last part was added by Leyk himself due to what he was planning..).

"Oh, trust me, I see the future in front of me, the reaction will be so very worth it, choose option L.G3, I think that plan of yours is the funniest and most humiliating, especially since there'll be other people there when you'll finally awaken."

First of all, Leyk thought, why the fuck had he numerated the plans, and secondly, he perked up even further, there were people outside when they left this place?

Or more so, he would meet other people in that forsaken realm?

..that was good...

"Oh, but I gotta ask, in exchange for using that choice, could you tell me why your feet are made of wood?" he laughed nervously at the end, or perhaps that was just an attribute the very much nervous, but interested, Leyk added onto the laugh.
