"Why are you suddenly a woman?" she asked, her brows furrowing as she posed the sentence that immediately allowed Leyk to look at himself, the very simple task he had somehow not been able to overcome himself to do previously, seeing a bosom, be it rather small, still very noticeable as he should not normally have such a thing, a rather long dress that limited his movements but not to a great degree, feeling rather free, as if wearing a cloak bandaged around himself... or herself..., a belt made of cloth, white holding it all together in a weirdly elegant fashion that he might have found interesting to figure out the making of, many a fold and such visible on the rather plain dark material, his hands nimble with practically perfect skin, not even hair in sight which slightly unnerved him as he had always been used to seeing his own hair.
However, in turn of his arms and presumably his legs as well as his chest which he was unwilling to look at right now for rather obvious reasons, Avere next to him also staring as if he had seen something unbelievable and utterly perplexing, which he did as Leyk mused inwardly a mere instant later, he felt rather thick hair atop his head, a few strains of it visible in his directs line of sight, his nose as he touched it perfeclty free and rather small, petite almost, his face otherwise feeling rather normal, but he wasn't blind and he was not one to specialize on such things as inferring sight through touch.
In truth, had he wanted to he could have used mana to sense his own appearance, but he was once more unwilling to do a simple task, this time because a rather powerful person was seated atop a golden flame right in front of him, looking down, hiding a rather obvious smirk that was unbecoming of the pervious picture but very much understandable after Leyk had touched his face all over, even pressing it together in some places and making what would probably seem like grimaces.
Or perhaps, right now, he should refer to himself and be referred to as a 'her', but he was not yet interested in that, he wasn't even sure if his genitalia had changed, though he did feel a little lighter down there, his legs closer together, something clearly missing, be it that he was not willing to acknowledge that right now.
As he was continuing to caress his own arms in an attempt to make further sense of himself, not really finding anything but being more petite, slightly softer, but still having the same endurance, estimating himself to be at least ten inches shorter than previously, but undoubtably still able to beat someone like Avere, even if his current body was truly just a creation to protect that core.
In that moment, or rather, during that time, about a minute having passed by now, Crisis finally restarted her talking that the two new people within the golden city had been listening to with great interest all this time, her voice clear but stifled with slight confusion and trifling with what seemed to be hidden laughter as she was undoubtably aware of Cades and what he had just done.
"Well, at least you look quite elegant if I may say so." she broguht herself to say, prompting Leyk to look at her with an intense questioning gaze, her quickly replying once more, elaborating on what she meant.
"Red eyes, rather pale skin, teeth white as pearl, black hair put up in two elegantly braided buns that most certainly required knowledge of how braiding works, something that a friend of mine from a far away world I had never heard of before, the very same one that had begun calling this species as 'humans' called a kimono from the memories they showed me, the only thing amiss are your bare feet." she looked downward.
"But I guess that's some kind of stylistic choice, isn't it?" she changed her sentiment, expecting no answer in return, seemingly directing it to Cades who could most certainly hear from what the three knew, simply being unwilling to show himself for some reason.
"A physical concentrated illusion over your entire body, changing both form and understanding subconsciously, perhaps by one of those actives or passives... how very interesting..." she added on, causing Leyk to grow the slightest bit calmer as he once more felt a new bit of knowledge waving it's beautiful smell like locking chocolate on valentine's day towards his nose, Crisis already having realized that, also seeing how she had grabbed the silver one's gaze anew after he had been staring at Leyk with visible confusion, quickly starting to explain.
"Normal illusions change the way light works, they make you see what you want as a kind of reflection in the third dimension, it is rather interesting really, but physically concentrated illusions work as barriers, made of the very thing you yearned to create, mostly, when cast as true magic, powered by pure intuition, bestowing colour through manipulating the intensity of your own innate colour, such as red in your case, and the light coming from whatever source might be nearby, even if it is pitch dark, also working through normal means." a smirk spread across her face once more.
"It is as if creating something, just not exactly like that." she ended her rather crude but effective explanation, many more things clearly being entailed in creating and summoning such a construct, both Leyk and Avere being interested, but neither of them believing that they would be able to understand such spells as of right now, Crisis beginning to talk anew.
"It is rather obvious that Leyk has made a contract with motion, progress, however you decide to call them, so I'll just skip over to what is going to happen from now on." she ended the questions from her side, changing over to the purpose of them being here in the first place, aside from pure interest.
