Your grandma and Hikari gives you and Izana space to talk. You stand in front of him and he smiles at you.
"Your grandma was just showing me her list of baked goods... so while I'm recovering I'll be learning..." He softly says, smiling down at the notebook. You smile and nod. "Kakucho said he's happy I'm better and would want to join sometime... so I was thinking of adding him to our little bakers crew." He jokingly says. But his words sound real.
"Sounds good." You nod. He smile and nods.
"You'll come back... right?" He asks with a worried look on his face. You nod.
"I'll come back." He smiles.
"Okay." He nods.
The rest of the morning was spent on talking to Izana, Hikari, and your grandma. After filling up the car with all of your grandma's and your stuff, you turn to say goodbye to Hikari and Izana.
"Bye Hikari." You softly say, hugging her.
"Bye Yuki..." She hugs you back. "Do good in school and graduate- okay?" She says. "And say hi to my older siblings for me." She smiles.
"Okay." You nod. You slowly walk up to Izana who has a worried look on his face but a smile masking that worry.
"Hey." You softly say.
"It scares me to watch someone I care about leave again... and I'm scared you'll never come back..." He says in a nervous tone. You hold onto his hand and smile.
"I said we are going to be bakers... I meant it." You smile. He slightly nods. "I'll be back- I promise... and if I don't-"
"I'll come dragging her back myself." Hikari smiles. Izana smiles at Hikari and then at you.
"I promise I'll come back." You say in a soft tone.
"Okay- I trust you." He softly smiles. His face more relaxed. You hug him and then skip down the steps.
"Bye guys. Have a safe trip." Hikari says, waving at you and your grandma. You wave back, a small pain in your chest as you do. You don't want to say goodbye but somethings need to come to an end. You get in the car and watch the house as you pull away. You relax in the seat and stare out the window, watching all the cars drive by.
"Its going to be a few hours road trip... so if you want to rest you can." Your grandma says in a low tone. You slowly nod and rest your arm on the window. You lay your head on your arm and close your eyes. You grandma turns on the music in the car, turning it down quietly and smiles as you two make your way out the city.
VRRRRRRRRRrrr....
The sound of a motorcycle passing by causes you to open your eyes. You look out the window behind you to see who it was but then stop yourself from fully looking. You shouldn't be thinking about them, you'll only make yourself regret leaving. You rest your head back down.
"Are you regretting leaving?" Your grandma asks. You stare off in front of you and sigh.
"No..." You answer.
"It's okay if you do." She adds.
"No, I don't... I'm just realizing that I'm going to miss everyone... that's all."
"I understand. You'll see them again though."
"Yeah."
Mikey quickly stops in front of your grandma's house and knocks on the door. His heart racing in his chest, hoping that you are still home. Hikari opens the door and Mikey clenchs onto your jacket.
"Did Yuki leave yet?" Mikey asks in a shaky tone. Hikari furrows her eyebrows and gives off a sorry look.
"She just left..." she softly says. "I'm sorry..."
"...oh" Mikey turns away and walks down the steps, getting on his bike and driving away. Hikari furrows her eyebrows when he disappears off into the distance.
After some hours you and your grandma finally arrive at your aunts house. You stretch as you get out the car. You aunt quickly walks up to your grandma, hugging her.
"Mom- was the drive here okay?" Your aunt asks.
"Yes." You grandma answers, hugging your aunt back. A couple of kids peak their heads out through the front door, looking at you. You look back at them. You aunt taps your shoulder causing you to look back at her.
"Yuki!" She shouts, holding her arms out. You semi smile and hug her. "It's been so long... and you've gotten so big!" The two kids quickly run outside towards your aunt.
"These are my daughters... Biyu and Aya." Your aunt says, rubbing both the girls heads.
"How old are they?" You softly ask.
"They are both five."
"They're twins?"
"Yes." Your aunt nods. "Come, let's help them inside." She motions them to help with the suitcases. You grandma approaches you and pulls you aside.
"This aunt, Aunt Kagami and your mom got into a huge argument a long time ago..." You grandma quietly says.
"Huh?" You look at your grandma in confusion.
"Your aunt has been trying to have a baby for ten years and she failed to conceive. Her doctor told her she might be infertile. When your mother got pregnant as a teenager and became very insensitive about it, your aunt and your mother got into a huge argument. Your aunt even refused to come to see you when you were born... it wasn't until the night where me, your Aunt Kagami, two of your other aunts, your mom, and Hikari were taking care of you when you were a baby..."
"What happened that night?" You ask.
"You wouldn't stop crying no matter what. We tried everything but you kept crying and crying. You wouldn't even calm down when your mother tried. It wasn't until your Aunt Kagami came and picked you up for the first time. You calmed down in her arms. She cried for hours after and never wanted to let you go... she treated you like you were her baby."
"You were my first baby." Your Aunt Kagami smiles at you, tears fill her eyes. Your eyes widen and then soften. "You were the reason why I never gave up... and then one day- I was finally blessed with two beautiful girls." She smiles. Biyu and Aya smile at you. You smile at them. Your aunt Kagami wipes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Okay come on... food is cooking on the stove... can you girls help grandma and your cousin Yuki in?" She asks. The twins nod and help you and your grandma carry things in.
After settling in and eating dinner, you sit quietly in your new room, staring up at the ceiling.
knock knock
"Yes?"
"Cousin Yuki..." One of the girls says from the door. You sit up and stare at the door.
"Yes?" You softly say.
"Can we come in...?"
"Yeah." The door opens and both girls peak in. They sit down on the bed with you smiling at you. You stare at them weirdly not knowing what to say. They both look so identical. The only difference between them is one has brown short fluffy hair and a rounder face, and the other has a narrower face and darker brown hair, also her hair is a bit longer than the other.
"How old are you cousin Yuki?" One of the girls asks.
"I'm seventeen..." You softly answer.
"Oh-"
"How old is that?" The other questions.
"Wait- what are your names?" You ask. They both stare at you a bit before smiling.
"My name is Aya." Aya has such a soft and cute tone. All you can think is awe. She smiles at you. Her face so cute and soft.
"And my name is Biyu!" The other says in a devilish way. You look at her furrowing your eyebrows a bit. She seems a bit- mischievous but they both are very cute.
"I'm so happy you are here now cousin Yuki!" Aya bubbles.
"What makes you say that?" You ask.
"We like girls!" Biyu shouts.
"Our cousin Makito... he's never home-" Aya sighs.
"AND HE'S BORING!" Biyu groans.
"YEAH SO BORING!!!!" Aya mimics.
"BOYS ARE SO BORING!" Biyu adds.
"YEAH SO VERY BORING!" Aya continues. "AND THEY ARE STUPID!"
"VERRRRY STUPID!" Biyu shouts. "GIRLS ARE BETTER!" You stare at the both of them with wide eyes. Then you start to laugh and tear up causing the both of them to stare at you silently.
"Are you laughing and crying?" Biyu asks. You slowly nod and frown a bit, rubbing the tears from your eyes before they fall down your cheek.
"Why are you crying?" Aya asks in a soft tone.
"Are you sad...?" Biyu questions. You nod. "Why are you sad."
"You both remind me of someone..."
"We remind you of someone?" Aya looks at you confused. You slowly nod. Aya looks at Biyu confused and Biyu shrugs. You laugh again and shake your head.
"It's okay... I just miss them a lot."
"You miss them?" Aya asks.
"Mhm..."
"Where are they?" Biyu questions.
"Far away."
"Awh..." Aya frowns a bit. "Will you ever see them again?" Aya asks.
"One day maybe..." You smile. "That's if they remember me." You chuckle.
"Oh... Why do you say that?" Aya asks.
"Well... if you haven't seen someone for a long time... wouldn't you forget them?" You question. Aya shrugs.
"You should tell them that you miss them." Biyu says.
"..." You stare down at your hand thinking about the keychains you put in the time capsule. Hopefully Emma wakes up... and maybe we can have another sleepover sometime... in the future. You think to yourself. You frown a bit causing the twins to stare at you.
knock knock
You look up to see a guy standing at the door frame. He has a soft smile on his face.
"Ew... its cousin Makito..." Biyu says sticking her tongue out.
"Ew its a Biyu." Makito replies. Biyu glares at Makito and he smiles back at her.
"Who are you?" You ask.
"Your cousin." He smiles. "I've heard a lot about you... I'm happy you're staying with us for the time being. Sometime I can show you around... even to our highschool."
"Don't do it cousin Yuki! He's a weirdo!" Biyu warns.
"A very weirdo weirdo!" Aya adds. Makito shakes his head and sighs.
"Makito... can you put the twins to bed, I want to talk to Yuki." Your Aunt Kagami says. Makito nods and grabs the twins, putting them under his arms.
"Let's go you two monsters..." Makito says walking out the room with them. You aunt sits down beside you on the bed. You stare out the door and then slowly towards her.
"Those two are something huh?" She smiles at you. You smile and nod. "When I look at you... all I can see is your mom when she was younger..." She softly says. "It makes me realize how much I miss her..." She says in sad tone.
"..."
"Sometimes I wish I had stopped her from leaving a long time ago-... and deep down I also feel like mom and dad left to Tokyo to get close to her again. We are a close family and tend to stay close to each other... which is why we live close to each other even now... but when your mom became rebellious- again... after breaking up with your father, she took you and left." She sits quietly beside you. "Which is why I wanted to ask-"
"Hm?"
"Have you ever wanted to see your father again...?"
"My... father?" You ask. She nods. You furrow your eyebrows and look down at your legs.
"You don't have to give me an answer now but... just know- he's been wanting to see you again." She softly says while standing up. "It's late... so I'm going to let you rest. Make sure to sleep well... in the morning I'm making a big breakfast... to welcome you and mom home." She smiles. You watch as she walks out the door. You stare off towards the window of your room and sigh, thinking about what she said. So wild... everything... so wild. You lay back and take a deep breath.
"Thank you." Draken says bowing a bit. He turns and walks out the hospital, accidentally bumping into a guy wearing a hoodie. He trips a bit, dropping a few things out his hand. "Oh shit... my bad." Draken says, but the person keeps walking. Draken scrunches up his face a bit and quickly shakes his head. He couldn't see the guy's face since the guy was wearing a hood over his head. Draken turns and grabs the papers he dropped but his hand stops at Emma's keychain.
"Where's the head?" He questions as he notices the bear is missing its head. His eyes slowly move across the concrete and then stop at the head a bit in front of him. He picks it up and examines it. "Shit..." He sighs. He places the keychain and papers in his pocket an gets on his motorcycle. He pulls out his phone, dialing Mikey but Mikey doesn't respond. He sighs again, puts his phone back in his pocket and drives off.
"..." The guy that bumped into him watches from the corner of the hospital. He turns his head and continues inside. He quietly walks down the hall and stops at Emma's hospital room. He pushes the door open and quietly closing it behind him. He slowly approaches her bed. He looks at her and grabs the pillow from beside her. He grips it firmly and shoves it down on her face.
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
"THE GIRL-..."
"SHES FLATLINING!"
The guy walks down the hall as people run past him. He slowly makes his way out the hospital. It's raining. He stops walking and looks up at the sky a bit before looking in front of him, an ambulance drives past him, the lights reflecting in his glasses. He walks down the sidewalk and down an alleyway, disappearing in the darkness.
BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ
"..." Mikey stands still, gripping onto your jacket. His breathing heavy. He clenches his hands, causing himself to cut into his palm. He leans forward panting a bit. Tears fall from his eyes and drool drips from his mouth.
BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ
Mikey sits hunched over as his phone vibrate on the ground away from his bed. His room was a mess. Things are all scattered across the floor. He rocks a bit back and forth, silently panicking.
BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZ
"SHUT UP!" Mikey shouts, throwing the jacket down at his phone. The bracelet on his wrist breaks and the beads fly everywhere. His eyes widen then darken. He starts laughing really hard, almost hysterically. Rubbing his face and hair back, tears drip down onto his bed. Blood is now covering his face and hair.
BZZZZ BZZZZ BZZ-T
Mikey steps hard onto his phone, breaking it. He slowly grabs onto the doorknob and pulls the door open. Leaving the shed open as he gets on his bike and drives away.
You lay still in your bed, slowly falling asleep. Everything that happened flashing in your mind as you do. Everything goes dark and you fall into deep sleep.
You slowly open your eyes to a light. You sit up, looking at your arms. They are glowing.
"What-"
"Did you enjoy yourself?" A voice says.
"Huh?" You flinch looking around you. A white blurry orb appears a bit in front of you. You stare at it confused.
"I asked you if you enjoyed yourself, Y/N."
"Y/N?" You repeat. Your eyes widen when you recognize that name. You are Y/N... you got so used to being Yuki that you forgot who you were.
"You forgot who you were... didn't you...?" The voice asks.
"Who are you?" You ask.
"I'm the creator of this story..."
"You're Ken Wakui?" You ask.
"No- I'm the one who created Yuki... and the story you lived out..." The creator replies. You stand still, feeling a bit confused.
"Tokyo Revengers is a great story... I myself fell in love with it so much that I wanted to make a fan story..."
"..."
"It was even cooler watching you live it..."
"... Why are you now telling me all of this?" You ask.
"Well... this is the end of the story... is it not?" The creator asks.
"The end of the... story?"
"Mhm..."
"..." You look down, staring at your glowing body.
"Don't be sad... you had fun didn't you?"
"..."
The orb goes quiet and then made a little chuckle noise causing you to look up at it.
"Your reaction is quite peculiar... I wonder- did you want there to be more?"
"I don't know..."
"I never wrote more for Yuki... this was originally where her story ended..."
"Did she ever go back to everyone in the end?" You ask.
"No... she ends up forgetting about all of this... which is why I say this is the end of her story. This was just for the joy of the ride..."
"..."
"But I wonder... it might be a lot more fun watching you chose Yuki's ending... really... I chose this ending because I got writers block... and never really thought of a way to fix it... so instead- I ended it the way I did."
"So, you ended it on a cliff hanger?" You ask.
"In a way... I ended it in a way that anyone could imagine how the ending would have ended... but in truth... I just didn't know how to end her story- so I made this the ending."
"This doesn't feel like any ending..." You say in a low tone. Another quiet chuckle comes from the orb.
"I like your response."
"..."
"Well then... how about this my little friend... why don't you give my Yuki an ending?" The creator says in an upbeat tone.
"Huh?"
"You choose what Yuki's ending should be."
"How should I do that?" You ask. The orb goes quiet then a noise comes from it again.
"How about this... I give you four options, and you chose one of those options... whatever option you chose will be Yuki's ending... what do you say?" The creator questions.
"Okay... what are the options?" You ask.
"Option A... you can go back to the past... Living as young Yuki. Going back to the past can give you the opportunity to save your mother, Emma, Shinichiro, Kazutora, and Takemichi..."
"Takemichi? Is Takemichi dead?" You ask.
"That's something for you to figure out..." The creator answers. You stand still staring at the white orb.
"Option B... you go back to Tokyo a year later from now, like you promised..." You furrow your eyebrows thinking about all the people you promised. "Option C... you go back to Tokyo ten years later for Hikari's wedding."
"Why would I go back ten years later?" You question.
"It's all a part of the story telling... maybe you got so sucked into being with your family that you may have forgotten... Who knows... It's just an option... you don't have to choose it..." They respond. You stand still staring at the orb. "And lastly... Option D... you chose to go back to your original self... as Y/N... and this as is will be the end of Yuki's story..."
"..."
"The choice is yours..."
"..."
"Do you have an answer?"
"Yes." You reply.
"What did you choose?"
"I choose..."
