"This is 100% pure bullshit, like how is it possible on the day of my first time as Narya this fucking shit happens?!" Narya complained as he ran with both Batman and Nightwing from rooftop to rooftop, with him lagging behind a little bit due to him not being experienced in running and moving like this.
"Damn, you are such a crybaby," Red Robin said on the earpiece in response to Narya's complaining.
"Shut the hell up, bottom!"
"Bottom!?"
"Boys, please stop arguing like children," Oracle said to both Red Robin and Narya, and they both shut up.
"So what exactly is it that we are rushing into again?" Nightwing asked Oracle while they were rushing to a warehouse.
"It's a recently made human and drug trafficking ring that somehow went under my nose for two weeks," Oracle answered Nightwing's question.
When Narya heard that, he started to run faster, and if you were to look closely at his face, you could see a vein popping in his neck. Then he asked her, but it kind of came out as a demand, "What is the rough number of victims?"
"I would say about 25ish or around that number, and I would say around 10 to 60 years old, and I would also say that they are undernourished and abused horribly. Oh, and it is Black Mask's warehouse."
"Of course it is him, that's how that disgusting fuck rolls," Red Hood said with pure venom in his voice.
"At the warehouse now and I'm scouting the area around it as I speak," Red Robin said as Batman, Nightwing, and Narya got to a rooftop near the warehouse.
"I have discovered two openings in their security to get into the warehouse undetected. The security is better than it is averagely," Robin said as he appeared on the same roof as Batman, Nightwing, and Narya. Then he said, "I believe there are some meta-humans as guards too, mostly in the brute type of powers due to their sizes."
After Robin said that, everyone went silent as they waited for Batman to say something as he scouted the area with a pair of binoculars. After a few seconds, he spoke.
"Me, Robin, and Batgirl will take the left opening, while Nightwing, Red Robin, and Black Bat will take the back opening. Then Red Hood and Narya will take the front and draw as much attention as you can and get the meta-humans to come to you two once we are inside of the warehouse. Oracle, contact the police once we enter the warehouse."
"Got it," everyone other than Batman said at once.
"Narya, I am inside and in the back of the run-down pizza place across from the warehouse. Get your ass over here now," Red Hood told Narya as everyone started to move and get in position.
Narya went to the edge of the rooftop and jumped off of it to the ground—it was only a two-story building—and his landing was not good at all. He made his way to the ruined pizzeria to Red Hood as quietly as he could, and honestly, he was not that quiet at all.
Once he entered the pizzeria, he headed to the back of it quietly. When he entered the back, he saw Red Hood sitting on a counter.
"You've got a few minutes to mentally prepare yourself for the fight you're going to have and what you're going to see inside of that warehouse. And unlike the rest, who are kind of assholes that will keep things hidden from you until the last minute or will not tell you anything, I am going to tell you what you are going to see in there. You will see the most disgusting shit ever, and you might throw up. In that warehouse, most likely almost all of those victims will be females and mostly on the younger side, sadly, and they most likely have been abused in many ways. They will be afraid of you because it's your first day doing this shit, so when you approach to heal them, please be calm, gentle, and have a low, steady voice so you do not scare them or stress them out more than they are. Also, keep in mind that there is a huge possibility that they all are drugged badly, so you will have to heal all that shit out of their system," Red Hood told Narya with a calm and collected tone as he explained to Narya slowly.
"Yeah, I figured that the moment that I heard human trafficking…" Narya said as he pressed his back against a wall and slid down to sit on the floor as he did box breathing to calm his nerves and his anger.
"But there is some good news for you."
"And what is it?"
"Nobody that works for Black Mask is innocent in any way at all, so you can fuck them up as badly as you want to."
After that, they went silent for a while, mostly for Narya, due to this being his first real mission and hero work as Narya.
"There are three meta-humans here. There are 40 guards, not including the meta-humans. There are 27 victims here, mostly females; most of them look drugged. There are many kinds of drugs here, but by the look of it, it's mostly cocaine. Now, one of the meta-humans has strength or muscle power because he is like 7 feet tall, and the other two are twins with what looks like the ability to make energy whips," Red Robin said on the earpiece.
"Red Hood and Narya, enter now," Batman told them in a flat tone.
"Let's get to work," Red Hood said as he hopped off the counter, then stood in front of Narya and stretched his hand out to Narya. Then he said, "Come on, let's go beat on some people."
Narya shook his head with a smirk as he grabbed Red Hood's hand, and Red Hood pulled Narya to his feet.
They stood in front of the gate to the warehouse, then Narya said to Red Hood as he walked backward, "Move to the side. I am going to break the gate down."
Narya took a deep breath, then ran at 80 MPH at the gate, then jumped at the last minute and slammed his body into the gate, causing it to break hard and also causing a lot of noise, which drew almost all the guards to rush to the gate.
"Holla, fuck faces!" Narya yelled out to the guards with a shit-eating grin. Then he introduced himself to them: "I am Narya. I am a new player in this beautiful hellhole of a Gotham City, and I am on the good guys' side."
"LIGHT THIS MOTHERFUCK—" The guard that was yelling dropped to the ground as if he was shot in the head with something.
"Damn, this shit really does not make a sound!" Red Hood said as he walked up next to Narya, holding his Desert Eagle.
"I am very insulted that you ever doubted me!" Narya said very dramatically as he put a hand on his forehead and chest to be even more dramatic.
Then he went to talk, yet he was interrupted by the 7-foot-tall meta-human, who said, "Leave the newbie to us."
"Us?" Narya asked, a little bit confused.
After he asked that, he immediately jumped upward 15 feet into the air as energy whips came at him from both sides, yet they missed due to him jumping up.
In the air, Narya moved his body, and then fire came out of his feet, sending him like a rocket straight to the twin on the left. Narya reeled his fist back, and when he was close enough to the twin, he went to punch the twin in the face, yet the twin dodged, making Narya's punch aim at the ground.
THWACK
That was the sound that the ground made as some debris flew up, and where Narya punched, there was now a little crater in the concrete ground.
The warehouse yard went silent at what Narya had just done. Then the twin that Narya had aimed for yelled out, "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE, WERE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!?!"
"My bad, brochacho. It's kind of my first time using my powers to fight someone," Narya said as he then rushed at the twin while everyone was still kind of stunned, and Narya slammed his fist into the twin's chin, knocking him out fast. There was a sickly creaking sound when the punch landed.
The moment the twin touched the floor, gun shots started to be fired by all those with guns, and they were all aimed at Narya, who raised his arms to cover his face with the forearm wraps that his arms had.
Narya took a very deep breath, then dropped his arms quickly, and then he let out a huge breath of fire at the 7-foot-tall meta-human that was coming toward him.
The big meta-human raised his arm to try to block the flames from his face. Then Narya ran to him while still breathing fire at the big meta-human. Then Narya jumped over him once he got close enough. In the air, Narya did the same move from earlier and slammed his fist into the back of the big meta-human's head, knocking him out cold instantly, and he dropped to the ground hard.
"YOU MOTHERFUCKER, HOW DARE YOU HARM MY BROTHER?!?" The other twin yelled as he rushed toward Narya while aiming for his legs with the energy whip, and twin number 2 got Narya's legs.
"SHIT!" Narya yelled out as his whole body started to be shocked from the energy whip. Narya stretched his arm out to twin number 2, then shot fire from his hand straight at twin number 2.
Twin number 2 sidestepped it quickly, but it didn't work because the flame curved and hit him hard, and he got burned, which caused him to let go of Narya. Then Narya rushed at him and dropkicked him straight in the chest, which caused the twin to be knocked back and sent straight into a metal pole.
"Are you finally done?" Red Hood asked Narya as Narya turned around to see 14 people knocked out with marks on their heads from the rubber bullets.
"Dude, this is my first real fight ever, and it was against people with powers, so like, get the fuck off my back," Narya said to Red Hood as he grabbed the three meta-humans and threw them into a pile with no care at all.
"Damn, you got some bullet wounds on your shoulders."
"I know, and they hurt really fucking bad. Like, damn, you motherfuckers can take hits because y'all deal with this shit every night."
"Well, don't get hit like that, because we actually know how to fight and dodge things properly."
"I am going to slap the shit out of you."
Red Hood just laughed at Narya as they both finished tying all the goons up with some really strong zip ties, and they just wrapped a bunch of chains around the big meta-human.
"Well, it's time to head in now," Narya said as gunshots rang out from inside of the warehouse. Then he asked as he looked at Red Hood, "Oh, how are you liking the rune?"
"I am fucking loving it, and I want to know if I can give you a rifle and if you can fully rune it out completely, really good."
"I mean, I could, but you've got to give me something in return, because I think I'm going to make like a little business of making shit for heroes in return for favors, things, and other shit."
"…I would let you cleanse m—"
"Deal." Narya didn't even let Red Hood finish talking before he accepted the deal.
"Damn, you accepted that shit fast as shit."
Narya didn't respond at all to Red Hood, and he just kicked the huge entrance to the inside of the warehouse down.
The moment that happened, everyone stopped fighting to look at the entrance, and the Batfam recovered quickly and started to knock out the unfocused goons.
Mere seconds later, all the goons were down cold.
"Damn, seeing y'all in person fighting goons, it's really fucking scary, and I am jealous that I can't fight like y'all," Narya said as he walked to where the victims were, and he kicked a goon in the chin who was getting up.
"You made a really loud entrance. What did you do?" Red Robin asked Narya as Red Robin began to tie the goons up with zip ties like the rest of the Batfam.
"Well, this dumbfuck decided to run at the gate at some crazy speed, then he jumped and slammed his body into the gate, knocking it down hard," Red Hood said as he went to the drugs to look at them because he is the expert on drug-related things.
"That sounds and is very extremely idiotic," Robin said to Narya, who broke the locks and chains that were holding the victims.
Narya completely ignored Robin and said to the victims in a low and gentle voice, as if he was talking to kids, "Hello, folks. My name is Narya, and I'm a new cape around here that works with the Batfam, as you can see. Now, I know that I don't look it, but I am a healer, and I am here to help y'all. So can I please get the younger ones to heal them first, please?"
The victims stared at him for a few seconds; most of them were trembling and shaking a lot. Then a little girl who looked about 9 years old stood up and walked to him slowly.
If you were to look closely at Narya when he saw how old the girl was, a vein popped on his neck, and he balled his left hand while digging his nails into his palm, yet his tone and words were completely different. "And what is your name, sweetheart?" he said as he stretched his right hand to her gently so she could take it.
"M-my name is Monica, s-sir," Monica said as she took his hand with her small one, and the poor girl was trembling a lot.
"That is such a good name for such a brave and strong girl. Now, sweetheart, can I use [Healer Touch] on you?"
"Y-yes?"
"Now, sweetheart, I need you to be sure of your answer for me."
"Yes, you can use [Healer Touch] on me."
"[Healer Touch], That's such a brave girl," Narya said to her gently as she was then slowly covered in a gentle gold aura that started to heal her quickly of everything on her body.
While that was happening, Nightwing, Red Robin, and Batgirl were checking on the other victims and checking on their conditions to know who should be healed by Narya first.
Soon enough, the police got to the warehouse and started to arrest the goons with almost no questions.
"Who is the new kid?" James Gordon asked Batman as he walked over to him and pointed his cigar at Narya.
"His name is Narya."
"One of yours?"
"No."
"Hmm," James Gordon said as he watched Narya go from victim to victim slowly while not allowing them to go with the police, and he then said, "Looks like he does not like us."
"No, it's not that. He is healing them."
"What?"
"You heard me."
"…" James Gordon was just silent for a while as he watched Narya, then he spoke. "Good. This fucking city needs someone that can heal, just hopefully he lasts long."
"He will."

He is finally a cape now, and now Black Mask is on his hit list as number one, aslo him and Black Mask will have beef with each other.
Now I did say that Gray would be a recuse type of hero and he is but the thing is that he have no training to sneak around places, and he is a healer and a fucking tank that knows fire magic so he would be noticeable a lot too because of the sweatpants. And he is will be try rough and mean to some kinds of goons like to those the belong to Black Mask will be beaten badly by him with no care at all cause in his eyes those that work for someone that does human trafficking, sex trafficking, all kind of trafficking, then he will not show that much mercy for them, because yes he knows that some people will work for Villains as goons cause they need the money for their family but Black Mask is not the Villain any kind of goon should work for cause Black Mask might kill you at any moment because he feel liek it plus Black Mask those horrible crimes.
Also you might see at some point in the story, I will have a bias to The Penguin cause that dude is my favorite villain ever from DC because I love his comics and backstories in most comics too, also he is like some of the chillest villains in Gotham cause honestly he is just a Mafia Boss in a crazy ass world so yes he got to do the things that he does to be in power.
Now let me explain Gray metapower a little bit, so in the most basic term ever it let him do almost all type of fire powers ever but he just need to learn and figure out himself how to do it, he have control all and any flames ever even the ones that he did not make, also his fires right now are stronger than the average fire in all ways, and another is that his heat restrains might not always bit able to keep up with the heat of his flames something but it will grow stronger.
