Rayleigh and Alex returned to their room and found Uldess sitting in a chair facing the window.
"How was your day?"
"It was great, we found this ice-cream shop that sold some of the best ice-creams I've ever had. Rayleigh was nervous that you would be angry at us for not trying to find his weapon."
Uldess got up and walked over to them.
"Rayligh, you don't have to worry, and Alex, I decided that you needed a day off, considering what you have been through in such a short amount of time, and tomorrow we will start our search."
Rayleigh felt a sense of relief. He couldn't truly relax with the thought of Uldess being angry at him.
"So why don't we all go down to eat, and you can tell me all about your day?"
After dinner, they returned to their room.
"Alright, so tell me how your day went."
Alex started talking straight away.
"It was incredible, we went to see a movie and then went for ice cream, and then we watched someone perform street magic, and I had my palm reading, though I think the lady was lying. "
Uldess looked pleased to see that they both enjoyed themselves.
"Right, tomorrow we will start our search for the Cavern that will take us to Migdranniun's base. I want you two to be ready, so go bathe, brush your teeth, and go to bed. I will see you tomorrow."
As Uldess went back to his room, a strange silhouette was watching them from a near by building roof top.
