Rayleigh looked at Agent in amazement. He could tell he was stronger, but he was worried that he was different.
Agent?
Agent walked over to Rayliegh and kneeled. Rayleigh was happy to see that Agent hadn't changed.
"Excellent, now that I have refined him, let's see what I can give him."
Rayleigh looked at Bram with confusion.
"I thought that he was now stronger."
"He is, Rayleigh, but it's like having someone inexperienced at fighting, and we give them a bat. They have a better chance of winning a fight, if that makes sense."
Rayleigh understood, but was curious what weapon Agent should get. Bram, sensing what Rayleigh was thinking, answered.
"I think the weapon best suited to Agent would be 'The Burning Fang'."
"Absolutely not!"
Uldess walked forward, looking at Bram with rage.
"When I told you we were coming to see you, I said not to talk about cursed weapons."
Rayleigh looked at Alex, hoping to be let into the conversation, but Alex just shrugged.
"Uldess, it should be fine, since Agent doesn't have a living concept, everything should be fine."
"And I am telling you that we still know practically nothing about cursed weapons. What if the curse is placed on Rayleigh instead?"
Bram seemed to enjoy irritating Uldess.
"Why don't we let Rayleigh decide?"
"I assume you are going to explain it in a way so that it sounds like it is harmless?"
"What do you take me for, Uldess, a jinn? Now then, Rayleigh, let me tell you what cursed weapons are. Cursed weapons, or more commonly called cursed secondary weapons, are, like the name suggests, secondary weapons; these could range from short swords, knives, and so on[1]. The thing that makes these weapons so special is that they are extremely powerful; some can control entire armies or destroy kingdoms with a single attack. However, there is a downside to their power; the more someone uses it, the more the user is 'cursed' and once the curse is complete, the user either loses them selfs or is absorbed into the weapon, making it stronger."
Rayliegh looked over at Agent. What would happen to him if Agent used a cursed weapon?
"So, Rayleigh? Are you going to give him Burning Fang?"
"Let me think it over, and then I will decide."
Uldess looked relieved.
"Right, Rayleigh, tell Agent to continue scouting the domain. Bram, thank you for this. We will be back with Rayleigh's answer and also to purchase some equipment."
Bram bowed and led them to the exit.
"It was a pleasure to do so, Udless. I am hoping that Rayleigh will accept my offer. In the meantime, I shall go over Agent's information to see what weapon would be best suited for him, cursed or not."
