It's been three full days since Charlotte, Astrid, Kael, and I returned to Black Moon. A lot has happened in that short time.
For starters, we've had several planning meetings with our allies to discuss the takeover of the West Mountain Pack, the werewolf council, and the trials that need to be held. Technically, as the Goddess-chosen leader of the council, Astrid doesn't need input from anyone. But from the beginning, she's insisted on involving the broader werewolf community. She says gaining their support will help rebuild the council's reputation, ensure future problems are reported, and foster long-term peace.
Aside from strategy meetings, my father's been spending several hours a day helping Astrid and Kael understand, develop, and practice their new powers or at least the ones they can practice. Obviously, Astrid isn't going to "practice" freeing someone's wolf.
