Chapter 248: Ultima's Might

Potter Castle

The newly born homunculus found herself surrounded by two dozen werewolves, looking at her with hungry eyes.

But she felt no threat from them, not even from the one she identified as their pack leader.

Her eyes scanned over the battlefield while everything seemed to move in slow motion.

She stopped for a moment on Voldemort and realized he was the biggest threat.

Her Master had left a large number of memories for her to assimilate, and they also contained some information about the men in the courtyard.

She was very clear on what she had to do with them. "Eliminate all hostiles… and prevent their escape." Up in the sky, she detected the form of Nyxaris and the activation of her magic.

The fairy would soon erect a barrier that would deter anyone from leaving, but in the meantime, she would have to use physical means for that.

"Raarrrr!" The werewolf leader had jumped at her.

Ultima understood that he was moving fairly fast for human standards. His body was greatly enhanced by the werewolf curse, even showing some clear physical changes.

However, from her point of view, Fenrir was as slow as a snail, if not more.

While the pack leader was still in the air with his claws and fangs ready to rip her apart, Ultima threw a light jab with her right hand.

Her fist never touched the man, but the friction generated by her motion was enough to form a high-pressure blast of air that was powerful enough to destroy the integrity of Fenrir's head.

The other werewolves were still smiling and staring at her body with barely contained lust when, all of a sudden, they were splashed with blood.

Soon after, they saw the headless corpse of Fenrir touch the ground.

Leaving Voldemort aside, it took a moment for the other onlookers to understand what had transpired, as it all went too quickly for their minds to process.

The horror then began to sink in.

"Boss!"

"Noo!"

"What happened to him?!"

Ultima's attention shifted to the little creature on her wrist when it began to wiggle.

"Right… I'm sorry for not using you, Tertivor." Her Master had given her several companions to assist in her task, so she had no reason to be fighting alone.

Tertivor changed shape, adopting the form of a long double-edged sword.

Ultima's mind was connected to all the other constructs, so she could instantly transmit her thoughts and inform them of what she wanted to do.

This also brought to her attention another issue that she had overlooked.

"Ohh…" Staring down at herself, she finally noticed her lack of attire.

The homunculus had yet to develop a sense of shame, so she cared little for being naked. However, she did recall the clone of her Master telling her to put on her armor before leaving.

Ultima had been too eager to jump into action and neglected this fact.

'But before that…' She detected that the entire pack of werewolves was now charging at her.

It had taken them five seconds to process the death of their leader and make the decision to kill her in response.

'Rage, anger, the feeling of revenge. These creatures have a very primitive and simple mind.

'Must be a side effect of the werewolf curse,' Ultima concluded.

After all, if they thought about it for a bit longer, they should have understood the futility of their actions.

She had killed the strongest one in their pack with little to no effort while she was still unarmed. What could they do against her?

"Raarrrr!" The humanoid beasts attacked her with all their might.

Ultima avoided the first attempt on her by rotating her body, and as she did this, she moved her right hand in a vertical motion.

The blade that Tertivor had formed was several times sharper than any human-produced sword.

And by feeding it her magic, Ultima could make it even sharper.

The first werewolf had his body split in half, offering no resistance to the metal that cut him. It was also fast enough to avoid getting any blood on the blade.

'Don't worry, I won't get you dirty.' Ultima sent her thought to Tertivor.

Before any splash of blood could come close to touching her skin, she had already moved away to her next target.

One by one, she cut down every werewolf. It took her around three or four seconds to go through the entire pack.

The only one capable of following her movements had been Voldemort.

However, this also left him the most shocked, as he had never imagined finding someone else who could move in the way he did.

After everything he went through to acquire his body, he now found an unknown young girl who was capable of matching him.

At least that is what Voldemort thought. After all, Ultima was far from showing her limits.

"Kyu!" Primum landed right behind Ultima and glanced at her.

"I know… I was about to call on her." Ultima could read Primum's thoughts as well and knew what he was trying to remind her of.

"Aura." She finally called for the armor that her Master left for her at the tower.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone present, a golden spark of light bolted out of the tower and descended upon the girl, covering her in its embrace.

The light became intense enough to cover a large area around Ultima and Primum, preventing them from seeing what was happening inside.

"What is that thing?!" Lord Carrow asked.

No one was sure if he was referring to the golden object, the small white dragon, or the mysterious girl who had just killed the deadliest pack of werewolves on the continent with no visible effort.

Too many crazy things had happened in quick succession.

The golden light around Ultima soon diminished, but it left behind a vision that left them speechless.
