"Do you know how often I have imagined throwing him a bachelor's party? I just feel like this is a betrayal, is all."

I can't help the eye roll as I descend the stairs, having listened to Miko complain about Kai again, for the hundredth time. "Baby, it was spontaneous. From what you have recounted, I'm pretty sure they didn't know they would sleep that night married!"

"Kai knew, I know he did, and as his best friend, his brother, he should have told me, and then waited for at least a good celebration, and not ruin the plans I have crafted for years."

That makes me snort. "You have been planning his bachelor's party for years?"

"Yes! And we talked about it too. We had all these kinds of crazy ideas and now ... Now it's all poof! Gone! Such, such a betrayal."
