Chapter 29 - 29. The endless screams.

Although during his reign as King and Emperor, Cassius had never been officially married, he had concubines whom he spent the nights with. And some of them begat children for him.

Last he remembered was that he had over six children from different concubines. So it was very possible that one of his children had taken the throne after his disappearance.

If not, he also had brothers at that time. About fifteen were begotten by his late father, so one of them could have also taken the throne.

So it was possible that this imbecile of a man was his descendant or at most his kin.

And this caused him to ask, "What is thy name?"

When no response came Cassius was forced to ask the same question the idiot had previously asked. "Hast thou gone deaf? Or art thou dumb?"

Leaning in a little closer Cassius opened his mouth to speak again but as though he was actually lost for words, his lips fell close again and a confused frown laced his features.
