Hinata Hyūga had been feeling a little off lately — tired, warm, and strangely emotional. A quiet suspicion formed in her heart. Could she be pregnant? The thought made her blush crimson. Whether it was intuition or the bond she shared with Naruto, Hinata felt that something new and beautiful was about to begin.
Her suspicion alone was enough to accelerate Naruto's plans. Once she hinted at it shyly, Naruto immediately decided: the wedding would happen soon — no more delays.
After parting with Hinata, Naruto returned home to speak with his parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. The warmth of their presence — though made possible by his power — still filled his small home with light.
Minato gave him an approving nod. "Everything's going as planned, Naruto. The preparations are moving smoothly."
Kushina grinned and slapped her son's back playfully. "You better not slack off, ya hear? My son's getting married — I won't have a lazy groom dragging his feet!"
Naruto laughed awkwardly, rubbing his head. "Yeah, yeah, I got it, Mom. Believe it!"
At the same time, Kakashi Hatake — the Sixth Hokage — received the news of Naruto's wedding. His single visible eye softened behind his mask. He couldn't help but think of how far that mischievous boy had come.
For Naruto's sake, Kakashi had once even gone so far as to help him summon Sakumo Hatake — the White Fang — back from the afterlife, giving his father a chance to find peace. But Naruto had refused to let that continue for long.
He had rejected Kakashi's request and personally released White Fang's spirit back to the Pure Land. The reason was clear and noble — to prevent future chaos.
If the Hokage himself allowed resurrecting family members, it would set a dangerous precedent. Others might demand the same. "Why can't we bring back our loved ones too?" they'd argue. The delicate balance of the world could collapse.
So, after a long conversation that night, Kakashi respectfully let go. White Fang's soul returned to rest — his will now living on in Kakashi's heart.
Kakashi understood Naruto's intentions perfectly and silently vowed to make Naruto's wedding a flawless event.
Meanwhile, in Konoha, Obito Uchiha and Rin Nohara had not yet departed the village. Thanks to Naruto's power, both had temporary physical forms — a second chance to experience peace after their tragic lives.
Kakashi met them at the Hokage's office. "Obito, Rin, I've got something to tell you," he said seriously. "Naruto's wedding is in a week. The other Kage will be coming as guests. I want you both to stay and help me plan everything."
Obito crossed his arms with a small grin. "No problem. It's been a while since we've taken it easy anyway. Staying in the village sounds good."
Rin smiled warmly. "You don't even need to ask, Kakashi. Kushina-sensei already told me to stay and help her. I'm glad to."
Kakashi's eye softened. "That's perfect. We can help Minato-sensei together."
After a moment of thought, Kakashi called for one of his Anbu guards.
"Lord Hokage," the masked shinobi said respectfully.
"Notify Shikaku Nara," Kakashi instructed. "Tell him to draft a formal invitation letter from Konohagakure to the other Kage — Raikage, Kazekage, Tsuchikage, Mizukage — with the wedding date. Also send a message to the Fire Daimyō and request that he notify the other Daimyō as well. Let's make sure they can attend."
The Anbu bowed and disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
Obito exhaled. "Naruto's wedding, huh… didn't expect it to be such big news."
Kakashi nodded. "It has to be. Naruto's not just a hero now — he's a symbol of the new era. The balance of the world depends on him. Konoha can survive without me as Hokage, but not without Naruto. His wedding isn't just a personal event — it's a diplomatic one too. A sign of peace and unity for the shinobi world."
He paused, his tone turning more serious. "And with the threat of the Ōtsutsuki clan still looming beyond the stars… we'll need that unity more than ever."
Obito's expression hardened slightly. He remembered the visions Naruto had shared — the glimpses of a cosmic enemy far beyond Kaguya's power. "Yeah… the peace won't last forever."
Rin placed a gentle hand on his arm and smiled. "Then all the more reason to celebrate now. Don't get so serious yet, you two! Let's make sure Naruto's wedding is full of joy, okay?"
Kakashi chuckled under his mask. "You're right, Rin. You two go help Minato-sensei for now — I'll join you after I finish some paperwork."
Obito and Rin nodded and left.
Elsewhere in the village, the twelve young heroes of Konoha had gathered.
Kiba Inuzuka scratched Akamaru's head and looked around. "Hey, Shikamaru, what's with this sudden meeting? You drag us all out here, something big must be up."
Shino Aburame adjusted his glasses calmly. "It must be related to Naruto."
Kiba blinked. "Huh? How do you know that, Shino?"
Shikamaru smirked slightly. "He's right. This is about Naruto."
Ino Yamanaka leaned forward, curious. "What's going on, Shikamaru?"
Shikamaru crossed his arms, speaking with his usual calm tone. "Before I came here, my dad was preparing an official letter. It's an invitation — to the other villages. The date written on it is Naruto's wedding. It's happening next week."
"WHAT?!"
Everyone erupted in surprise.
Tenten gaped. "You're kidding! Neji didn't tell me anything!"
Rock Lee nodded rapidly. "Indeed! Neji has been unusually quiet about this matter!"
Kiba groaned. "Hinata didn't say a word either! Hey, Shino, how'd you figure it out before us?"
Shino pushed up his glasses again. "It's simple. Only Naruto could make Shikamaru gather this many people."
Shikamaru gave him a thumbs up. "You're as sharp as ever."
Sai smiled faintly. "This is wonderful news. Naruto and Hinata are finally getting married."
Chōji Akimichi laughed, munching on a bag of chips. "Yeah! Hinata's liked him forever. About time, right?"
Tenten sighed dramatically. "So that's why Neji's been busy lately! He must be helping with wedding stuff!"
"Sorry I'm late!"
Sakura Haruno rushed in, still out of breath. "Shikamaru, what's the emergency?"
Ino grinned. "Sakura, did you hear? Naruto's getting married in a week!"
"WHAT?!" Sakura froze in shock. "When did that happen?!"
Everyone burst into laughter at her expression.
Shikamaru shook his head with a small smile. "Figures. Everyone knew this would happen sooner or later, but the timing still caught us off guard."
He cleared his throat. "Alright, listen up. Except for Neji — who's probably helping Hinata already — and Sasuke, who's… well, Sasuke, we've got everyone here. Naruto and Hinata are about to get married, so we should all do something special for them. Whether it's gifts, helping with the ceremony, or putting on a show — think of something."
Immediately, the group broke into excited chatter.
Kiba raised his hand first. "If Naruto needs a best man, I volunteer!"
Chōji grinned. "Count me in too!"
Ino's eyes sparkled. "Hey, Sakura, Tenten — we should be bridesmaids! Hinata probably hasn't chosen any yet."
Tenten pumped her fist. "Yes! I'll even make her a custom set of ceremonial kunai as a gift!"
Sakura giggled. "Only you would give weapons as a wedding gift, Tenten."
Shikamaru sighed, rubbing his temple. "Troublesome… I ask for ideas and you all start competing for wedding roles."
Shino stayed silent, calmly adjusting his collar. Behind his stoic demeanor, even he was thinking seriously about what to give. Maybe I can find some rare chakra beetles — a unique gift symbolizing growth and harmony.
As the laughter and chatter filled the courtyard, the entire village began to hum with the same energy. Konoha — once scarred by war — was alive again, united not by battle, but by celebration.
And at the center of it all stood Naruto Uzumaki — the boy who had once been alone, now preparing to marry the woman he loved, surrounded by the people who had become his family.
