Jiraiya saw Naruto rushing over and instantly felt relieved.
"Did you bring the money?"
Naruto grinned slightly and opened the bag without hesitation.
When everyone saw the bag stuffed FULL of cash, their eyes widened. None of them understood where Naruto had even found this much money in such a short time.
Jiraiya chuckled, glanced toward the door blocking their path, and said, "Stuff it through here!"
He gestured to the four groomsmen, and they immediately grabbed wads of cash.
Before they could shove anything in, Shikamaru quickly stepped forward and blocked them. "Wait, wait! Don't just shove it in blindly. Talk to the people inside first. If we just cram money in without confirming, they won't open the door no matter how much we stuff in."
Everyone paused.
Yeah… that made sense.
Inside the room, Tenten heard the chaos outside and yelled back confidently, "You guys! I'm still a woman of principle, alright? As long as the money is enough, we'll open the door properly!"
After Tenten's declaration, Shikamaru shouted loudly, "Tenten, you said it yourself! Everyone heard it, right?!"
"I heard it!!" the whole group shouted.
Tenten yelled back, "f**k you! Why are you talking so much nonsense?!"
Jiraiya snapped, "Sai!"
Naruto lowered his money bag, and the four groomsmen immediately started stuffing the cash through the gap under the door—fast and nonstop.
Inside, Tenten's eyes widened as she watched fistful after fistful of money pouring in. Even though she was known as a wealthy weapons collector, seeing this much cash thrown at once was still shocking.
"Okay, okay!! Keep stuffing!!"
Neji shouted, "Open the door!"
Tenten instinctively moved toward the door, but Sakura grabbed her wrist and whispered urgently, "Don't open it, Tenten!"
Tenten waved her hand dismissively. "Relax! Just a tiny crack. Let them keep stuffing money. I wanna see how much they actually have!"
Ino frowned. "What if you open a crack and they just force their way in?"
Tenten clicked her tongue and pointed at Sakura. "Sakura is here. She's super strong. She's Lady Tsunade's disciple. She can definitely stop them, right, Sakura?"
Shizune nodded in agreement. Ino looked at Sakura too, putting her on the spot.
"Sakura, what do you think?" Tenten asked again.
Sakura hesitated, then sighed and nodded. "Fine. No problem."
"Great!" Tenten said. "You control the door handle. Keep the gap small!"
Tenten crouched again, gathering money eagerly. "Keep stuffing!"
Sakura took a deep breath, grabbed the handle tightly, and slowly opened the door just enough to show a thin crack.
Seeing that tiny gap, Tenten shouted, "It's open! But the money still isn't enough! Keep stuffing it! If it piles high enough, THEN we'll open more!"
Shikamaru saw the opportunity and immediately looked at Chōji.
Chōji understood instantly.
He pulled out a handful of Soldier Pills from his pocket and swallowed them. His body surged with chakra, his muscles bulging with enhanced strength.
"Move!!"
Chōji roared, and the groomsmen quickly stepped aside.
Sakura felt something bad incoming.
With a deafening bang, Chōji launched himself into the door shoulder-first.
"I'm coming through!!"
Sakura braced herself with her monstrous strength, pushing back with everything she had. But Chōji's impact forced the gap open wider. Shikamaru rushed in and shoved against the door, and Neji joined him, adding his own strength.
Sakura screamed as she resisted, her muscles shaking.
Ino, Tenten, Shizune, and Hinata rushed over to help her. Inside the room, Tsunade—sitting on the bed—watched her bridesmaids struggle like their lives depended on it.
She sighed internally. Do you all not want me to get married that badly?
Despite the combined efforts of the men outside, Sakura's strength was too overwhelming. Even with ninja techniques reinforcing their push, they couldn't fully break through.
Orochimaru watched this scene and couldn't help sighing.
Then he extended his arm, which transformed into a long white python that slithered smoothly through the small gap. The snake's head popped up right in front of Sakura, tongue flicking.
Sakura froze.
Her face went pale instantly.
In that moment, some deep trauma resurfaced. With a terrified scream, she let go of the handle and stumbled backward.
With the resistance gone, the door burst open and Jiraiya's group rushed in.
"Hahaha! Orochimaru, you still have your ways!"
Sakura immediately hid behind Tsunade. Tsunade gently patted her head, whispering, "It's okay. Don't be scared."
Shikamaru laughed. "So Sakura is afraid of snakes. I never knew!"
Neji crossed his arms. "I didn't expect that. She's not even afraid of Shino's bugs, but Orochimaru's snakes terrify her."
Orochimaru smirked knowingly.
Of course he knew why.
During the Chūnin Exams, Orochimaru had murdered several shinobi from Kusagakure, disguised himself, infiltrated the Forest of Death, and planted the Cursed Seal of Heaven on Sasuke. Sakura had witnessed the entire scene and was traumatized. Even Sasuke had been shaking in terror, unable to walk.
Although Sasuke eventually killed Orochimaru and overcame that fear, Sakura never fully recovered from the memory.
Tsunade shot Orochimaru a glare. Jiraiya sensed her mood shift and quickly said, "Sakura, I'm sorry. That was too much."
Shizune came over and comforted Sakura until she steadied her breathing.
"It's okay, Lord Jiraiya. Sorry… I lost my composure."
Ino snorted. "Even if you got in, you still have to complete a challenge. Only then can you take Lady Tsunade!"
Hinata nodded firmly. "Yes!"
Even though she wasn't an official bridesmaid, she stood united with the group.
Iruka, trying to ease the tension, clapped and said, "Alright, alright! It's just a game. Let's have some fun!"
Ino announced loudly, "First challenge! The groom stands here. The best men stand outside this line. Throw this ring onto the groom. If you succeed, you pass!"
Jiraiya thought it sounded laughably easy.
He accepted without hesitation.
Jiraiya stood in place and was immediately blindfolded.
Fine.
Next, one best man needed to be blindfolded and throw the ring.
Iruka demonstrated. "This is how you throw it."
Both thrower and target blindfolded—this suddenly became much harder.
Neji stepped forward. "I'll do it."
Tenten snapped, "No, not you!"
Neji frowned. "Why?! I'm not even a groomsman!"
Ino said, "Because you have the Byakugan! A blindfold won't stop it!"
Neji clenched his fist. "This is bullying an honest man…"
Then Orochimaru stepped forward. "I'll do it."
Nobody dared object now.
Jiraiya grinned. "Go for it!"
"No problem," Orochimaru replied calmly.
Sakura added, "One more rule! No sensory techniques allowed!"
The entire room erupted.
Shikamaru groaned. "Sakura! Seriously?!"
Iruka frowned too. "That's a bit too harsh…"
Orochimaru said calmly, "No problem."
Everyone stared at him in disbelief.
Tsunade smirked. She knew exactly why Orochimaru was so confident.
Orochimaru put on his blindfold, then stuck out his long snake tongue.
Sakura immediately turned away, trembling.
After a few flicks of his tongue, Orochimaru pinpointed Jiraiya's exact position and threw the ring.
It landed perfectly.
Everyone burst into cheers.
Chōji scratched his head. "Shikamaru, how is he so accurate?!"
Shikamaru explained proudly, "Snakes sense heat in the air with their tongues. Orochimaru can sense Jiraiya's body heat like chakra. It's a natural ability—no ninjutsu used. So it's totally fair."
Chōji nodded. "Whoa… awesome!"
Sakura silently cursed.
Ino then declared, "Second game! Find Lady Tsunade's shoes!"
Orochimaru didn't even flinch.
He walked to Tsunade, summoned a small snake onto his hand, and let it slither onto the floor. The snake sniffed around, circling the room before slithering toward a hidden corner.
Orochimaru followed and smiled. "Here?"
He reached out—and pulled out Tsunade's missing shoe.
Everyone cheered. Orochimaru had crushed the game again.
Jiraiya grabbed the shoe triumphantly. "Then I can take Tsunade now!"
The bridesmaids reluctantly accepted defeat.
Jiraiya knelt, slipped Tsunade's shoes onto her feet, then lifted her bridal-style into his arms.
Minato quickly stepped forward to help him into the carriage.
And with that, the entire group moved in a grand procession toward the wedding venue
