Chapter 784 - 87. The Golden Assassin

On a distant planet, a bloody battle was raging. Hundreds of alien creatures with various weapons were surrounding a single, golden-haired girl.

She had a cute yet cold face, a pair of dark red eyes, and was dressed in a black battle dress. She wasn't very tall, and even looked a little petite.

What was most surprising was that her golden hair could transform into various weapons. And not just her hair, but it seemed any part of her body could.

Moving with incredible agility, the girl, with her unique abilities and superb combat skills, was holding her own against hundreds of enemies, and even taking a life from time to time.

The battle raged for several hours. As the last enemy fell with a pained cry, the girl was the last and only one left standing on the battlefield.

Her chest heaved as she panted. A battle like this seemed to have taken a great toll on her. She was covered in blood, looking like a demon from hell.

Staring blankly at the corpses strewn everywhere, her face was devoid of emotion. There was no fear, no sadistic pleasure. Her dark red eyes were filled with a hollow numbness.

"Tsk, tsk… as expected of the number one assassin in the universe, Golden Darkness. Such cold-bloodedness, such strength… it's truly frightening!"

A figure emerged from the shadows, chuckling as he looked at her.

"Who are you?!"

A cold light flashed in her dark red eyes. A strand of her golden hair instantly transformed into a blade and shot forward, landing at the figure's feet.

"Ah…"

"Golden Darkness! I-I'm the client! Are you trying to kill me?!"

Startled, the figure cried out in a mix of anger and fear.

"Client? Hmph, who do you want to kill this time?" she asked flatly, her expression softening slightly.

"I want to kill a human named Kusanagi Sora! That bastard deceived Princess Lala, who should have been my wife! I want to hire you to kill him for me!" the figure said, his fists clenched, his face full of hatred.

"Kusanagi Sora… a human…" she murmured, a slight frown on her face as she considered it.

"Golden Darkness, I came to you because I heard you were the number one assassin in the universe. You're not afraid of a weak human, are you?" the figure said, trying to provoke her when he saw her hesitate.

"Hmph, I'll take the job. Go back and wait for news," she snorted. A spaceship flew in from the distance, and a beam of light pulled her up into it. In an instant, it shot across the sky and disappeared.

"You detestable Golden Darkness! How dare you be so arrogant in front of me! You just wait! After you've taken care of that Kusanagi Sora, we'll see how I deal with you!" the figure roared with a savage and angry expression, watching her leave…

On the grassy riverbank, Sora and the Kirarian, Pikari, were facing each other. Lala, Run, and the loli Valkyrie were sitting on the side, licking their ice cream.

"Rocket-kun, you can start. Attack whenever you're ready. Don't be polite with me," he said with a smile.

"Human, for Lala, I will not hold back! Prepare yourself!"

"Rocket Shume Beam!"

Remembering how he had been fooled last time, Pikari didn't waste any time. He struck a classic Ultraman pose, and a beam of light shot towards him.

Not even bothering to dodge, Sora let the beam hit him. He was completely unharmed, though his hair was blown back a little…

"How is that possible?!!!"

Stunned, with a look of disbelief on his face, Rocket-kun was completely dumbfounded.

"Rocket Light Cannon!"

"Laser Light Bullet!"

"Invincible Light Energy Sword!"

Feeling that something must have gone wrong, Pikari unleashed his ultimate moves one after another. The entire riverbank was filled with the sound of explosions.

But seeing Sora still standing there, completely unharmed and even stretching, Rocket-kun's eye twitched, and he could no longer remain calm.

My god, what is this human monster?!!!

"Rocket-kun, is that all you've got? Then I'll start," he said, and with a flash of light speed, he appeared in front of him.

"Light Speed Punch."

He called out lazily, and his fist hit Pikari in the stomach. It didn't look like he had used much force, but—

"Oof…"

With a cry of agony, Pikari vomited and was sent flying hundreds of meters into the air like a cannonball.

"Light Speed Kick."

Flashing into the air, his lazy voice came again as he kicked him down.

BOOM!!!

With another cry of agony, the poor Rocket-kun crashed to the ground.

"Impossible… impossible…"

Climbing out of the crater, he still couldn't accept that he had been so easily beaten by a human, without even a chance to fight back.

"Rocket-kun, it's not over yet."

Flashing in front of him again, Sora grinned, his smile bright and sunny.

"One more time… Light Speed Barrage."

With a smile, he unleashed thousands of light-speed punches at him.

"Ah… oh… ee… ya…"

With a series of muffled cries, a minute later, Rocket-kun Pikari was covered in bumps and lying on the ground, unable to fight, not even knowing which way was up.

"As expected of a Kirarian. You're pretty tough," he said, stopping and muttering to himself as he looked at the guy on the ground.

Though he hadn't even used a ten-thousandth of his strength, to be still breathing after taking so many of his punches was quite an achievement.

"Lala, send this Rocket-kun back to his own planet," he said, waving her over.

"Okay…"

With a nod, Lala finished her ice cream in a few bites and bounced over.

She took out a rocket from her transportation device and stuffed him inside.

"Hu-human… wh-why… can you use… the power of light?" the battered and bruised Pikari managed to ask, having come to his senses a little.

"That's a long story. You can just guess, Rocket-kun," he said, gesturing to Lala, not bothering to explain.

"Heehee… Pikari got beaten up so badly."

"Don't come to Earth to bother us anymore! Goodbye!"

With a thoughtless warning, Lala closed the hatch and pressed the launch button.

With a long trail of fire, the rocket carrying Pikari shot into the sky.

He had come to Earth full of hope to find his life partner, only to be stood up and fooled, to be a beggar for a few days, and finally to be beaten to within an inch of his life.

Well, what can we say? Rocket-kun had greatly enriched his life experience. Congratulations, congratulations…

"Let's go, Lala, Run. Let's go home," he said, as if he had just done something insignificant. He picked up his little pet, and the three of them walked home, chatting and laughing…
