Chapter 3 - Chapter 3.

Mr, Jason took a marker from the board's tray and wrote a topic on the board. Turning to the class, he said again, I'll be writing some notes first. Please, take out your notebooks if you haven't and jot it down . I'll explain them when you're all done writing. Please, be fast about it. Mr. Jason then turned back to the board and started writing. Meanwhile, the students looked up at him with surprised expressions as he started writing.

They were a bit doubtful at first when headmistress brought him in. Although they knew the school always provided them with the best materials including tutors. They were still skeptical since this new tutor looked young and they were somehow certain he was indeed young but looking at him come in without any prepared notebook or a textbook and start to even write left them stunned and flabbergasted. To even think he had their undone topics, they were left speechless. A few skeptical ones still took out their textbooks to check if he was indeed writing facts despite the fact that there's a very slim chance if him being a fake. Students are always students and it is common to find one or two in every class him much more a competitive class as this one. They were still hesitating when they suddenly heard him speak again.

I'll only give you a few minutes to jot down the note after I'm done. I wouldn't hesitate to walk you out if you don't follow instructions; Mr. Jason's voice rang out through the class. The cold and intimidating tone in his voice immediately prompted the students to start writing. Those, who had started to clarify from their textbooks immediately realized they had over thougt things, recovering from the shock, they took out their notebooks and followed the other students who had started writing. They didn't want to be the first to be sacked from the class. They may be clever but they still lacked a lot of things and needed the tutor's guidance to help in their studies and that's the reason why they're all here. Also, they didn't want to be get any sanctions from the school.

Meanwhile, Maddie ignoring the other students had started to write when Mr Jason first asked them to. Without saying anything she nudged her friend Lena, on the side who started who followed her and started writing. Although she hadn't said anything, her friend immediately understood her. It was almost as if they were talking through telepathy. Being friends for a long time has given them enough understanding of each other that, sometimes talking is not needed between them which has benefited them.

Madison, knowing Mr. Jason from her junior high school level had made her aware of his dislikes especially in class. Mr. Jason, as nice as he seemed on the surface is one of the most difficult tutors to deal with. He is very skilled at what he does and employs his own methods and techniques in achieving his goals and does not tolerate any unserious or underperforming students in his class.

To him, anyone who still performs badly under his guidance is just lazy. He believes everyone does have the the capacity to learn and get to wherever he or she wants to. Anyone with an opposing opinion is just unwilling and lazy at most. Madison, remembering the short time she has with him when she was in junior high level, still made her eyes teary even now. Mr. Jason is so cold and intimidating and so much precise in executing his decisions and actions that it made people forget he's still a young man. Despite his youth, his attributes and demeanor were remarkably mature. Having already been at the receiving end of his wrath some time before was already tiring enough and Madison never wanted to be in the spotlight again.

Even though Madison admired him, she still feared him somehow and she never wanted him to tutor her again but here he is now and she could not leave or transfer to another school neither did she have any right or whatsoever to find a way to make him leave. Since, she is already caught up in this, she just hoped Mr. Jason wouldn't recognize her and she will try her best to tread carefully so as not to be on his wrong side again. With this in mind and knowing what to do, she behaved herself in class.

Mr. Jason finished writing the notes on the board in a little over five minutes after which he waited for a little while before starting to teach.

At the time, the students were all done with the book. Looks they were really fast at adapting to class; thought Jason.

After scanning his eyes through the class, Mr. Jason went on to explain the notes.
