Feeling the tugging on his sleeve, Axel looked at his son with surprise.
"Can I… go too?"
Now that was unexpected. Ollie was never good with strangers, it usually took him a while to get used to every new person, especially adults. He was a bit better with River for some reason, but he was still pretty shy around the man…
So, for him to ask to join them when Axel was making plans with River… It was truly an unprecedented situation.
Not that Axel minded, quite the opposite. While he was initially trying to ask the Beta out on a date, turning it into a small family (if you could call it that, when Axel and River were not even dating yet, let alone being a 'family') sounded great as well.
The only question was how River would feel about it…
Axel threw a surreptitious glance at the man.
There was no reason for him to worry, though, because Elias responded with a warm smile directed at Ollie. "Of course you can. We will be more than happy for you to join us. Right, Axel?"
