The so-called Lunarian clan—an ancient and rare race—once inhabited the summit of the Red Line, their history predating even the founding of Mary Geoise, the Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons. Renowned for their extraordinary durability, they were so unique and powerful in physique that many referred to them as gods.

It was within the heart of a World Government research facility, deep inside the walls of a forsaken lab, where Kaido first encountered Jhin—a surviving Lunarian. When Kaido approached, Jhin raised his head slightly and calmly asked if he had the power to change the world. Laughing with the fire of rebellion, Kaido declared that he had been born to tear down the rotten order that ruled it.

Though silent, something in Jhin stirred; Kaido's words awakened a buried glimmer of hope, a spark of forgotten purpose. Without wasting time on pleasantries, Kaido shattered the reinforced Kairoseki (Seastone) shackles binding Jhin with one mighty swing, and then tossed him a weapon forged from Wano iron—an obsidian-bladed sword weighing with deadly intent.

As alarms blared and chaos spread, researchers and guards poured into the corridor in panic, shouting about the escape of high-priority experimental assets. A squadron of enhanced guards and armed scientists charged with the intent to subdue Kaido and Jhin before they could flee.

But they were far too late.

By the hour of 03:00, two living monsters were already rampaging through the stronghold. Kaido's Haki-infused kanabo and Jhin's blazing Lunarian flames scorched the steel corridors, obliterating elite security forces with every strike.

The final blow came like thunder—Kaido's mace crashed into the last researcher, sending blood and data chips spraying as the man was slammed into the wall. Turning toward the smoldering figure at his side, Kaido asked his name. Recalling the one given to him long ago, Jhin replied: Abel.

Kaido roared with laughter and told him he had the strength to call himself "King," declaring that from that moment forward, he would remain in Kaido's shadow as his right hand—never to be claimed by the world again. Together, they annihilated the facility and vanished into the depths of the New World.

Meanwhile, the great reshuffling of powers across the seas had begun. Following the collapse of the Rocks Pirates, an era of frenzied conquest and chaos erupted. Figures like Whitebeard, Golden Lion Shiki, Charlotte Linlin, Ochoku, Captain John, and Silver Axe aggressively seized territory throughout the New World, each striving to build their own empires.

Whitebeard, wielding both the Gura Gura no Mi and a fearsome reputation as the strongest man alive, rapidly formed the formidable Whitebeard Pirates, attracting countless warriors eager to rally under his banner. Charlotte Linlin—Big Mom—relied initially on her children and the power of the Soru Soru no Mi, carving out territory with strategic precision and laying the foundations of Totto Land.

Ochoku, John, and Silver Axe, equally ruthless and ambitious, painted the New World red with their battles for dominance, but among all these warlords, one figure stood apart—Ayr.

Unlike the others, Ayr showed no interest in building a traditional pirate crew or expanding territory for the sake of power. His ambitions were focused solely on two objectives. First, he pursued Devil Fruits with an almost religious fervor. Though already possessing the chakra of the Seven Tails, Ayr sought the Eight Tails and ultimately the monstrous Ten Tails, believing that only by attaining the final beast could he fully awaken as the JinchĆ«riki of the Ten Tails—transcending both pirates and shinobi.

Devil Fruits, however, remained elusive in the New World, wrapped in layers of myth and mystery. Yet Ayr hunted without pause, driven by an unrelenting desire. His second goal centered on advancing the synchronization of his Fairy Eyes—a variation of the Rinnegan refined through his Sage lineage, requiring battles of great intensity to progress.

With the fall of the Rocks Pirates, the New World saw an explosion of pirate activity. Growing disillusioned with the world, Ayr began exterminating pirate crews wherever he found them, each victory contributing to the evolution of his Sage Body and the refinement of his Fairy Eyes.

Eventually, inspiration struck.

Ayr opened a tavern—not for drinks, but as an "entrustment hub" where pirates from across the sea could request his aid. Whether the mission was to destroy islands, eliminate rivals, or secure territory, he offered his overwhelming strength in exchange for a price—Devil Fruits or rare treasures.

This system had two immediate benefits: it provided Ayr with a steady stream of combat challenges essential to his growth, and it allowed him to collect rare items and Devil Fruits without the need to search for them himself—two goals, one solution.

As time passed, the tavern—named "End of the Sea"—became legendary, its name whispered in awe across the New World. Only infamous pirates dared approach, since even reaching the island required passing through sea beasts and monstrous defenses.

Still, rumors spread rapidly.

Ayr had already accepted dozens of entrustments and obtained a vast trove of treasures and Devil Fruits—some of them mythical in origin or Logia-class. Though he never intended to form a crew, his power drew others like gravity itself. Famed pirates began to gather under his banner—not as subordinates, but as followers of a new force.

Ayr did not resist.

Instead, he allowed this movement to grow organically, leading to the creation of a formidable organization: the Order of the Abyss. Tasked with managing the flow of entrustments across the New World, the Order operated with ruthless efficiency. Ayr took ninety-one percent of every reward, yet the remaining nine percent—divided among his followers—was still enough to attract hundreds of eager pirates.

In total, over 753 named pirates, many with bounties exceeding 100 million Berries, pledged allegiance to the Order. To them, Ayr was more than a man—he was a god of the battlefield, a demon of the sea, and the strongest being alive. Following him meant not only survival, but the promise of true power.

New World — Within a Coastal Sovereign Nation

Using gold and silent coercion, Ayr had purchased the nation itself, removing its king and replacing the heart of its capital with a towering structure of obsidian and gold—a fusion of Wano craftsmanship and Shinobi design. This building was a tavern, but only pirates with bounties exceeding 100 million Berries dared to enter without trembling.

Within its walls stood Ayr's elite.

At the bar counter sat Ayr himself, draped in a black-and-red cloak, surrounded by waves of chakra that shimmered like mist. As the reinforced gate creaked open with a heavy groan, a pirate entered carrying a black-and-silver treasure chest. Advancing until he stood just short of the bar, the pirate knelt, raising the chest with both hands.

"Lord Ayr, this is a Devil Fruit obtained from my most recent entrusted mission," he declared with reverence.

Without speaking further, Ayr opened the box, revealing a pulsing, vine-wrapped fruit brimming with latent power. He gave a nod of approval. The pirate, eyes glowing with awe, responded with pride.

"It's an honor to serve Lord Ayr."
