The aircraft looked as if it was being carried by the wind itself. The only thing it did was softly hum, which sounded like it was remembering stuff it sang from the past. The desert on the ground shrank, and the sky grew larger.
Lucian was standing close by the front window. There was a hint of gold on the soft blue sky straight ahead. Serakha and Arden sat together with the other members. A number of the kids leaned against the borders of the viewing portholes, their eyes full of fascination. Many of the people were flying for the very first time.
