Chapter 311 - chapter 110

William took the stack of paper reluctantly, with the pen balanced on top. He closed his eyes, thinking about all the time it'll take where he'll have to stay still and do nothing but write.

He sighed, "I'll get to it straight away, Earth Di has already looked a good way into the formation. You should be able to give the formation experts something to start with."

Mo Huai countered him, "I never said I got any yet?"

William started walking away and shouted back, "If you hadn't, would you really be deserving of an Elder status, I trust you."

He walked away and once in a quiet place, away from Earth Di's disturbances, he placed the papers down and held the pen in his hands. It was weighty and he assumed that it was filled with laws, though he could not tell as using aura would just destroy it.

Luckily, the artifact didn't need any law control, he just needed to use plain mental energy. He took a breath and held the pen to the paper, slowly injecting mental energy. He began to think of the information he had memorized and slowly it started to be written down in an easy to understand format.

Hao Ran, the escaped Light Bringer, flew quickly to a cave in the wilderness. He barreled in and rolled on the floor.

He held out his hand and activated a formation he had placed, suddenly a bubble formed around the cave, bending light and sound around it.

The formation wasn't defensive at all, purely camouflaging. He stumbled up and brushed off his clothes, "That was close…"

He was still in enemy territories, now marked by a vampire as safe, acting as a double agent. However, that meant that when he accidently chanced upon a fellow member of the coalition against Yi Sect…he was mistaken for an enemy.

He was chased, and he could only escape by using other Yi Sect members to slow them down. He was part of the first order of soldiers, much weaker than this second round that was chasing him now.

He hobbled further into the cave, and found his base. It was a makeshift place to collate all of his findings.

Falling into a chair, he leaned on a desk murmuring, "Is it time?". He had a way to contact his sect and the main formation, but he had to weigh it first;

Should he do it early, the information will be limited. Should he do it too late, the information could have saved lives earlier.

'Soon…but perhaps,' he fingered the layers of reports he had made. He had only been acting as a double agent for a short amount of time relatively but he had much found out, eventually he found a specific report.

[Reverse Formation details], he glanced over the page again while grimacing. When referencing his mark, other members of Yi Sect talked about the "Reverse Formation" and when he had met someone a little more connected…he had found something much more alarming.

He rolled up the paper tightly and used spare wax laws he had from cultivating near candles to seal the report.

Pushing off the chair, he hobbled to the cave entrance and looked into the air, "Just take this!"

He quickly ran out of the cave then once a distance away, he flashed light laws. He shone brightly, alarming the other party. He pretended to drop the report in a hurry then he used his techniques to hide and find his way back to his cave.

He brushed off the cold and turned back, "He should buy that…" Hao Ran was worried that since they already thought of his as the enemy he couldn't just give information or it would be seen as false; instead he needed to pretend to drop it, so it would be seen as legitimate.

Zhen Wi, the leader of Mo Huai's formation expert team, walked over to his room. He knocked. He opened the door.

He bowed to the purple miasma soldier who sat in a throne in place of Mo Huai, he wore a stern expression and held a spear authoritatively.

Zhen Wi held out his hands, "We have received new information on the Formation that I believe Elder Purple Miasma would be…interested in!"

The miasma soldier looked down on Zhen Wi, unmoving, until it groaned. The groaning continued until it shot to action and swapped places with Mo Huai.

The real Mo Huai came in with the same authority and grandeur as the miasma soldier but with the kindness of another human.

"Something new, you say?"

"Yes Elder, we got a report from one of the small elites who had infiltrated further into enemy lines. They say they scared a weak looking Yi Sectarian and they dropped this report." he held out a rolled up piece of paper.

"We deciphered the contents and found it to be in the coded language of the Light Bringers Sect and it talks about the Reverse Formation. The one that activated earlier was a test, now that it has done well, thousands of others will activate. Then the main formation will continue endlessly."

"Its in the Light Bringer Sect's language?"

"Yes we found it strange but when we contacted the sect for comment they informed us that the writing looked to belong to Hao Ran, who had been nearby to the original first activation of the Reverse Formation. He must have survived somehow and found all of this out."

"Though I assume the one who found this report didn't know that, and chased our fellow? Send experts out from the Light Bringer Sect, they have ways to verify eachother with light, the informant won't hide."

He added, "Thank you, this is excellent news…well, it's bad, but good we know if it." Mo Huai handed back the report and sat back into the throne. He quickly remembered, "Oh yes, also take this." he passed over a memory packet.

He switched around back with the stone-faced miasma soldier. Zhen Wi nodded and quickly existed the room, starting to search through the memory packet.

'Real portions of the formation!' he exclaimed to himself.
