Chapter 31 - The Four Questions of the Father of Knowledge

Raigor entered the primordial land, the place where the first civilization was born and from which all races had originated. The wind carried the whisper of ancient forgotten languages, and every stone seemed to resonate with a thousand-year-old wisdom.

In the center of the plain stood an immense crystal obelisk, and before it sat an imposing figure, wrapped in a cloak of stars. His eyes shone like the setting sun, and his presence emanated an aura of infinite wisdom.

It was the Father of Knowledge.

The Meeting with the Guardian of Knowledge

Raigor stopped a few steps away from him, feeling the weight of a gaze that seemed to scrutinize his soul.

"You seek a fragment of soul," said the figure in a deep voice. "But first, you must answer my four questions. Only then can you prove yourself worthy of advancing."

Raigor clenched his fists. "Ask."

The First Question - "What is truth?"

Raigor was silent for a moment.

"Truth is what remains when all lies collapse."

The Father of Knowledge nodded, satisfied.

The Second Question - "Which is stronger: memory or oblivion?"

Raigor crossed his arms.

"Oblivion can erase pain, but it is memory that gives us purpose. Without memories, we do not truly exist."

A flash of light crossed the guardian's eyes.

The Third Question - "Who are you, Raigor?"

This time, the warrior hesitated. Who was he, really?

He was a fighter, a survivor, a man who had failed in another life and was trying to make amends.

Finally, he answered:

"I am the one who challenges fate. Even if the world says that everything is written, I will write a new story with my own hands."

The Father of Knowledge smiled.

The Fourth Question – "If you had the power to change the past, would you do it?"

Raigor closed his eyes.

The thought of rewriting the past, of avoiding pain and suffering, was tempting.

But if he changed the past, would he still have Veran by his side? Would he find his true strength?

Finally, his answer was clear:

"No. I would not change the past. I accept that. But I can still change the future."

The Test Passed

The Father of Knowledge stood up, gesturing with his hand.

"You answered wisely, Raigor. Now, take what you seek."

A golden light broke away from the obelisk: a fragment of Veran's soul.

Raigor took it carefully, feeling the familiar presence of his friend. But he knew it wasn't over.

There were more fragments to find.

And time was ticking by.
