"SHMADEN SHMUKIIIII!!!!" Lovely Labrynth shouted furiously towards Jaden.
Jaden turns toward her with an annoyed face. "What!?"
"What!? Is that your answer after making my Darling turn INTO A PUDDLE!?" She pointed toward a red liquid with Mash face in shocked. Alexis, Syrus, and Chumley look at it with an expression screaming 'how??'.
"And also, Shmaden!!" She pointed her finger at Jaden. "how dare you throw away the cards that my Darling gave to you on the floor. Do you have no shame!?" Lovely glared at Jaden who gave him goosebumps.
"I didn't throw them away, Miss!" Jaden denied. "There was no table or rock nearby to set them on, so putting them on the ground was the only—"
"your pockets."
Lovely stared at him. "You could've put them in your pockets. J. A. D. E. N."
Jaden stayed silent for a second.
"Uhh…"
Jaden rubbed the back of his neck and laughed sheepishly. "Ha ha… I forgot."
Lovely Labrynth was gripping her battle axe like an executioner, and just as she was about to say something, "AAARGGHHHH ARE YOU KIDS DONE YET WITH YOUR BICKERING!!???" Titan screamed with rage and energy as the purple smog disperse around him.
"This is a sacred shadow duel! Focus only on the duel, because the stake shall be your life!" Titan said toward Jaden who just smiled.
"Yeah, my bad!" Jaden apologized. "Now let's continue!"
Outside of the duel arena where the other are standing...
"Sigh..." Mash snaps out from his puddle state. ""This is bad… No—this is the worst-case scenario for Jaden."
"Darling!" Lovely was relieved he's fine. "you're back~!"
"Yeah... you're back.. from whatever that was..." Alexis comments.
"Uhm... Mash..." Syrus called nervously "what do you mean that this is the 'worst-case scenario for Jaden?'"
Mash sighed deeply as he cross his arms. "Basically... Jaden is playing against a deck with the same power level as mine." (Not really the same but you get the point)
"What!?" everyone yelped.
Chumley gulped. "What kind of deck is it?"
"The archetype that Titan use in that deck is named: 'The Dark World'. It's an archetype that specialize in almost all of it's monster has an effect that only activates if they get discarded from effect or some kind of graveyard effect."
"But Darling," Lovely interfered. "That's an really old archetype right? Shouldn't it be around Jaden's level?"
"Lovely... Don't you think that an old archetype (and a famous one like this) don't get some modern support cards? or... a new boss monster?" Mash explained.
"Ooooh." Lovely's eyes widened in understanding.
Alexis, Syrus, and Chumley, meanwhile, were staring at them in confusion.
"Hey," Alexis said, narrowing her eyes. "What are you two going on about? 'Old archetype'? 'Modern support cards'?"
"SHHH!!" Mash shut her up, "Class time is over! How about we go and watch the duel!"
[Tch! dodging questions again!] She's irritated but in the end she turned toward Jaden's duel. "Fine."
back to the duel after Titan discarded Reign-beux.
"Hmph!" Titan smirked full of confidence, the deck that he received from that mysterious woman was really powerful, and after he research and play test it a bit, even if there's only 1 card each in the structure deck it was better and stronger in every way than his old archfiend deck.
"Now... since Genta is banished... I can special summon him to the field in defense position!" Titan declared and from the purple smog, a humanoid monster with braids wearing a bony purple armor and a large bone shield appeared on the field.

"And... since Reign-Beaux was discarded by an effect, I can activate his effect to add a Level 5 or higher Dark World monster!" Titan pull out a card from his deck and revealed it to Jaden. "I shall add {Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World}!"
"What's that? What does that do?" Jaden tilt his head.
"It's just a 2700 attack beatstick monster, Jay." Mash responded. "Though it does have an annoying graveyard effect to be able to revive itself by bouncing a Dark World monster on the field."
"oooh! I see, I see! So he'll discard" Jaden points a thumbs up at Mash. "Thanks for the info, Mash! I hope you'll give more!"
"Bruh, I'm Jaden's google search now." Mash deadpans.
"Tch, so what if you know my card effects from your little friend!" Titan continued. "I'll still win! But, for now... let's have a deal... a {Dark World dealings}!" Titan place a spell card in his Duel Disk, then Jaden and Titan hand cards started to glow ominous black.
"The effect of this spell card makes both of us discard a card and also draw a card..." Titan explained " I shall discard my Grapha..." Titan put a card in his gy.
"Sweet!" Jaden quickly discard a card and draw a new one.
"And next... I shall normal summon {Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World}" Titan declared.
Another purple humanoid monster appeared from the purple smog beside Genta, but this one is holding a long bone spear with both it's hand and is way taller and imposing that Genta.

"uh oh..." Mash blurted.
"Hm?" Alexis turned to Mash annoyingly. "What now, Mash?"
"Remember that I said that Grapha has this annoying graveyard effect..." Mash said. "well... Reign-beaux has that too and you could guess where this is going..." Alexis eyes widen before she turned again toward Titan maniacal laughter.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!!! Watch and learn... because this will be your last chance...!" Suddenly, Genta and Beiige was engulfed in purple smog and a tiny purple smog then fly to Titan hand while he extend his arms.
"I SUMMON BOTH OF YOU TO THE FIELD BY RETURNING GENTA AND BEIIGE! ARISE... {Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World} and {Reign-Beaux, Overking of Dark World}!"
Suddenly, from the purple smog that Genta and Beiige left behind, a ominous black dragon with a face that looks like a dragon skull and is covered by an metal looking armor appeared beside the intimidating black armored skull demon wielding a glowing and electrifying golden staff with an arrow point like shape on the bottom of the staff.

The two lords let out an ear piercing roar that shook the entire chamber and even cause some cracks in the stone walls.
"Geez, two boss monster in the first turn...?" Jaden was flabbergasted. "you really remind me of Mash you know?"
"How dare you compare me to a kid!" Titan was enraged then he place a card on his Duel Disk. "I set a card... and end my turn."
{Titan hand: 6, Field: 2 monster, 1 set card.}
"Alright! My turn, draw!" Jaden said as he swipes a card from his top deck and grins. "And I'll immediately play it, I shall play {Pot of Greed} to draw 2 new cards!"
"Now, since {Elemental HERO Necroshade} is in the graveyard because of Dark World Dealings, I could normal summon a level 5 or higher 'Elemental HERO' monster without tributing! Which is why I'll be normal summoning..." Jaden then show a card in his hand. "{Elemental HERO Bladedge} in attack position-"
"Not so fast...! I'll activate my trap card, {Dark World Punishment}!" Titan then flip a set card. "When a monster is about to be summoned to the field, I can negate the summon and destroy the monster!"
"What!?" Jaden gasped.
Suddenly, Reign-Beaux raise his staff so that the arrow shape bottom is facing at Jaden, and with yellow electric energy, Reign-Beaux hurl his staff straight at Jaden card in his hand and destroying it. "Uwahh!!" Jaden screamed.
"Jay!" Syrus shouted at him while the rest stare at Jaden with concern. Until Mash noticed something with his hand. "Jay, what happened to your hand!"
"Huh?" Jaden take a look at his hand, it was bleeding profusely from a deep cut. "Ugh... great." Jaden bandaged it by tearing a piece of his t-shirt. "And now I can't normal summon anymore..."
"AHAHAHAHAHA!!" Titan laughed maniacally. "How does it feel to have a taste of a true shadow game!? Feeling the despair... yet?"
"Despair...?" Jaden scoffs. "No way! As long as I still have cards to play there's is still hope!" Jaden said optimistically as he place a card.
"And luckily, I still have hope! Because I'll activate {Polymerization}! Which I'm going to use to fuse Avian and Burstinatrix in my hand!"
A vortex appeared above Jaden field while Elemental HERO Avian and Burstinatrix fly into it. "Now here comes my favorite HERO of all time! Get ready to meet {Elemental HERO Flame Wingman}!"
From the vortex, a green Hero with a single white left wing and red dragonic right arm, flied down to the field and striking a heroic pose.

"And let's also summon my pal with {Flute of Summoning Kuriboh}!" Jaden shouted as he played a spell card. "This card allow me to take {Winged Kuriboh} from my deck and special summons him in defense position!"
A brown fluffy furball with wings appeared on the field. "Kuri kuri!" Kuriboh chirped as he instantly fly toward Jaden and hugging him. "Ha ha ha! Hey, that tickles! Ha ha!"

"Aw man..." Chumley looking jealous of Jaden. "I wonder how it feels like..."
"Must be really soft..." Syrus imagines.
"Fluffy... warm... cute... and-" Alexis immediately shut her mouth in embarrassment, then she regain her composure. "*cough cough* A really good defensive card because it makes you take no battle damage when it gets destroyed. That's what I want to say!"
Mash and Lovely just side-eyes Alexis with a wide grin on their face.
Winged Kuriboh overheard their talking and was happy for the praise, "Kuri! Kuriii!!" so he waved at them which makes Mash and the other died from cuteness. Kuriboh also waved to Flame Wingman to which he waved back casually.
Meanwhile, Titan on the field look at Jaden unimpressed. "You... summoned a lump of hair with wings in defense position and your 'favorite hero,' has a lower attack points than my Grapha."
"Kuri!?" Kuriboh was shocked at being called a lump of hair. "KUUURIII!!!!"
"Calm down, buddy. We'll see about that when I play the field spell, {Skyscraper}!" As soon as Jaden played the card, tall skyscraper building rose from the ground alongside a large moon hanging in the sky. "Since I played a new field spell, yours will be destroyed!" Jaden said, and the gate behind Titan suddenly crumbles into chunks of rock.
"Tch! Damn kid!" Titan said in anger.
(IG Notes: In the old days of YU-GI-OH, there can only be one field spell on the field, so if your opponent or you plays another one, the current one will be destroyed.)
"Hehe, Now it's time for battle!" Jaden declared and Flame Wingman cracks his neck as he soars to the top of one of the buildings. "Flame Wingman, now go and attack Reign-Beaux!"
Titan was shocked. "Are you an idiot!? My Reign-Beaux has way more attack than your measly hero!"
Jaden smirks. "Sure, but, with Skyscraper field effect, when my Elemental HERO battles an opponent with more attack than it, it will gain 1000 attack!"
"WHAT!?!?"
{Elemental HERO Flame Wingman: ATK: 2100 -> 3100}
"GO FLAME WINGMAN!" Jaden declared, pointed his hands at Titan. "Destroy that monster with Infernal Rage!"
Flame Wingman then finally jumps down from the top of the building as he swiftly glided toward Reign-Beaux and unleashing a devastating flame breath to Reign-Beaux engulfing him and Titan.
"Ugh! It's hot!" Titan coughed, stumbling back as his trench coat singed at the hem.

"Wow. That flame really almost burns you? This really is a shadow game." Jaden has finally start to feel the pressure of the situation. "Anyway, Flame Wingman effect will now be activated! When he battle and destroy a monster, he can inflict damage to you based on the original attack of the destroyed monster! Now go again, Flame Wingman!"
But Flame Wingman didn't move, he just go back to his position. "Huh?" Jaden is confused. "Why aren't you using your effect?"
Titan smirks. "Take a look, kid." from the flames left behind from Flame Wingman, Reign-Beaux emerges from the inferno. Reign-Beaux then let out a devastating warcry that dies out all the flames instantly.
"What!? It wasn't destroyed!?" Syrus said in shock.
"But the damage still goes through right?" Chumley added. "Then why did it not get destroyed!?"
"It's because of the second effect of Dark World Punishment." Mash said. "If a 'Dark World' monster is about to get destroyed by an effect or battle, he can just banish this card instead, and since Reign-Beaux isn't destroyed in battle and send to the graveyard, Jaden's Flame Wingman effect won't activate."
"Hmph! Thanks for the explanation..." Titan smirks. "That no one asked."
Mash eyes twitched hearing this.
Meanwhile, Lovely was fuming with rage, her feet was stomping the ground so hard it creates cracks. "Urghh!! How dare he say that to my Darling~! I swear if I had the power to cut through this purple barrier…!"
"It's fine, Miss Labrynth! I'll make sure he'll get a taste of your fury!" Jaden reassured. "also, I'll end my turn!"
{Jaden cards: 1, Field: 2 monster}
"Taste your fury?" Titan sneered. "Heh. How about you taste the despair... that's about to come! DRAW!" Titan draws his 7th card, looks at it, and smirks, "watch and learn... kiddo. This... is how you do a turn."
Titan place a card on his duel disk. "First, I'll set a card... and next, I shall play {Card Destruction}! We both discard our entire hands and then draw the same number of cards we tossed!"
Syrus stiffened. "Oh no! but Jaden only has 1 card in his hands, meanwhile, Titan has 5! Titan will draw more new cards than Jaden."
"And with the archetype his playing... I don't think discarding his hand will give him any disadvantages." Alexis added.
Titan then begin to spread his arms wide, as shadows curls at his feet. "And now… since they were discarded by a card effect..." the ground began to tremble. "they will special summon themselves to the field!"
"They…?" Jaden questioned.
until suddenly large amount of purple smog moves and concentrated in 3 spot on Titan field, each one with a intimidating looking silhouette in them.
"Arise... {Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World}!" A hulking gargoyle like fiend with golden wings, golden armors and a large golden axe, stomps to the field.

"Next is, {Sillva, Warlord of Dark World}!" From the second plume stepped a menacing demon with dark, layered armor. Its wings draped behind it like a cape, and a jagged bone blade jutted from the side of its hand poised like a dagger.

"And lastly... {Lucent, Netherworld of Dark World}!" But when the smog cleared, there was nothing there. Until, you look closely and you can see a humanoid demon with transparent and ghostlike blue armor, wings and tails appeared from nothingness.

All 3 of them glared at Jaden and his monster with murderous gaze, which makes Jaden get goosebumps and Winged Kuriboh flying behind Jaden. "Geez, This... maybe bad..." Jaden forced a smile as a sweat trickle down his cheeks.
"Woah! His field's stacked with really strong monsters!" Syrus gasped.
"'Really strong'...?" Titan chuckled coldly as he cut him a look. "Kid… this isn't even close."
"Next, I shall activate the card that I set, {Dark world Archives}!" The continuous spell card flips up on the field revealing itself, suddenly, behind Titan an eerie bookshelves made from purple wood with mouth and teeth's with ominous looking book materialized behind Titan.
"Now I'll activated it's effect! By discarding a 'Dark World' monster I can give all my Dark World monsters on the field ATK equal to the discarded monster level times 100! And so... I'll discard {Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World}! Which is a level 7 monster, so all my monster gains 700 ATK!" Titan explained as he discard Reign-Beaux, and the bookshelves behind Titan emits a purple aura that then fly towards Titan's monster and empowering them.

"ALL FIVE OF HIS MONSTER HAS 3000 OR MORE ATTACK!?" Syrus was mind boggled, "And this all happened in just two turns!"
Titan smirks. "And since I discarded a fiend monster by the effect of a 'Dark World' card... I can activate Dark World Archive second effect to discard a card and draw 2! So I'll discard {Kahhki, Guerrilla of Dark World}!" Titan discarded Kahhki, and draw 2, then Titan smirked at the cards he draw.
"Now, since Kahhki is discarded... I can activate it's effect to destroy your Flame Wingman!" Titan declared, then Kahhki appeared on the field.
With a smirk, it began running toward Flame Wingman, it leaps and hugs tightly at Flame Wingman. Suddenly, Kahhki body begin to glow bright purple.
BOOOMMMM!!!
Kahkki explodes and getting Flame Wingman destroyed.
*cue that one Yamcha meme but with Flame Wingman*
"Great…" Jaden muttered flatly.
"AHAHAHAHA!" Titan roared. "How's that for your 'favorite hero,' huh!?"
"And next is your little furball over there!" He pointed viciously at Winged Kuriboh.
Kuriboh puffed up angrily and shook both his tiny fist at Titan.
"And now... I shall play the card that will make you fall into despair! Because I'll play the quick-play spell... {Dark World Accession}!" Titan then slam the card on his Duel Disk, then suddenly Grapha let out a guttural, earth-shaking roar..
Mash stomach instantly dropped and his face turned pale. "Oh shit... It's coming." And everyone slowly turned to Mash with face of fear, If Mash sounded like that, something bad is seriously coming.
"AHAHAHAHA!! Behold...!"Titan bellowed as inky smoke began pouring from Grapha's body, and arcs of black-and-yellow lightning crackling across its form. "By banishing Grapha on the field and discarding {Zure, Knight of Dark World}... I can fusion summon the new Greater Lord of Dark World!"
He raised his arms like a cultist at a ritual.
"O GREAT DRAGON LORD OF DARKNESS...!"
"I GIVE YOU A SACRIFICE... SO YOU BE CROWNED IN DREAD...!"
"MAKE MY ENEMIES SUFFER YOUR THUNDEROUS WRATH...!"
"ARISE, {GRAPHA, DRAGON OVERLORD OF DARK WORLD}!!!"
From the black smoke that Grapha left behind, four colossal black wings tore through it. Then with one thunderous flap, the smoke scattered, revealing the abomination beneath.
Grapha's new body was massive, easily twice the size of his previous form. His lower half resembled a demonic centaur. From the waist up, his torso was humanoid but bulky, encased in overlapping plates of abyss-black armor shaped like jagged dragon scales. And his head was a draconic skull crowned with a crown-like array of twisted horns.
Black and yellow lightning coiled around him constantly, slithering across his limbs and wings before discharging in violent bursts against the stone walls as it roared thunderously.
Even Winged Kuriboh hid behind Jaden's head, trembling.

Alexis stared at the towering dragonic fiend, it's aura is enough to give her goosebumps and a feeling of dread. "What kind of monster... is that!?"
"Holy fucking shit..." Lovely blurted out. "I know that this is getting repetitive, but that thing has wayyyy more attack than a blue-eyes..."
"SHMADEN!" Mash's shout ripped through the chamber, equal parts panic and fury. "ARE YOU REGRETTING NOT USING THE CARD I GAVE!? YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!!"
"Mash!?" Jaden spun toward him, shrugging off the heat in his face. "It's fine, man... I still have my buddy in defense position." Jaden pointed at Winged Kuriboh behind his head.
"Defense position?" Titan smirked. "Let's see about that when I play, {Stop Defense}!" Titan place a spell in his duel disk. "It allows me to change your Winged Kuriboh to attack position!"
"What!?" Jaden panicked. "But-but, that means...!"
But then Winged Kuriboh suddenly decided to get off Jaden head and get in front of him as if bracing itself for the worst.
"Buddy...?" Jaden questioned.
"Kurii! Kurii!" But Kuriboh gave him a thumbs up with a look of happy and determination in it's face. He knows he must face against the Dragon Overlord and keep Jaden safe.
"Heh. How sad..." Titan smiles like a man who tasted victory. "NOW GRAPHA! GIVE THAT KID A TASTE OF YOUR POWER!!"
Grapha roared then step forward to Jaden, each step is like a small earthquake around the chamber as black and yellow electricity crackling around it's body like it's charging up.
Winged Kuriboh launched itself up in a desperate, tiny arc straight toward the maw of the beast with insane bravery in a cotton-ball body. But Grapha reached out with a claw the size of a boulder and slapped Kuriboh like you'd swat a pest. The tiny guardian spin through the air and slammed into Jaden, knocking him off balance.
"Buddy! Are you okay!?" Jaden scrambled to his feet with Winged Kuriboh in his arms.
Then he looked up...
Jaden's look turned to horror as he noticed Grapha bending its head at him. The dragon's mouth crackled with ominous black-and-yellow lightning as if it was about to fire it like a cannon.
"JADEN!!" Mash shouted. "DODGE!"
Grapha unleashed a concentrated beam of black-and-yellow thunder toward Jaden and Kuriboh. But in a heartbeat, Winged Kuriboh threw itself between the blast and Jaden. Then with a tiny cry it erected a shimmering spherical barrier around Jaden. The thunderous beam struck the barrier directly, but Kuriboh's body took the brunt.
"BUDDYYYYY!!!" Jaden screamed as Kuriboh was outside the barrier.
Winged Kuriboh barrier was actually stronger if he was protecting somebody, which is why he's on the outside. And for five unbearable seconds the little guardian held the shield, Though Jaden still felt the pain his buddy is bearing, he knows that if he got caught in this beam... he will surely get disintegrated.
Smoke and the bitter stench of burnt fur rose from the barrier as Kuriboh's round eyes flashed fiercely with determination, refusing to let go.
Finally...mercifully, Grapha ended the beam and returned to his position
Jaden saw as the barrier around him vanish, and his friend was black as a charcoal from tanking the beam and his Wings was now without it's feathers.
"BUDDY!!" Jaden grabbed Winged Kuriboh in his hands, "Buddy! Are you okay!?" Jaden wailed as tears flowing out his eyes.
"Kuri... boh!" Winged Kuriboh gave Jaden his last thumbs up as he then disappear. Finally a Winged Kuriboh effect activated and created a rectangular barrier in front of Jaden.
"Tch, now I can't finish this with the rest of my monster..." Titan was irritated. "But seeing that look of watching your friend get burned to a crisp... REALLY FILLS ME UP!! AHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Jaden didn't answer immediately. He stood very still, eyes wet but burning with something else... hatred, and grief fused into focus. Then he straightened up his posture as his jaw clenched so hard the veins showed.
"Titan…!" Jaden shouted full of fury.
"I'LL MAKE SURE YOU PAY!!"
