Chapter 366 - Chapter 365: Two Letters

Torifu smiled. "You've worked hard these past few days. There probably won't be any prisoners needing interrogation after this, so you can take this time to rest well."

"Understood, Hokage-sama. To be honest, I am quite tired. I spent so much effort on this Ninja these past few days, but still didn't get any good results."

Torifu waved his hand. "That's not your fault. He is a Kage-level Ninja after all, and his overall qualities are incomparable to ordinary Ninja, so there's no need to dwell on it too much."

After chatting with him for a while longer, Torifu left the Interrogation Department.

As soon as he stepped out, the world seemed to brighten considerably. The Interrogation Department was dark and damp, while outside the sun shone brightly.

Having obtained useful intelligence, Torifu's mood improved somewhat, but he also felt a sense of worry about the impending war.

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was coming for him, seemingly intending to use his body as a vessel for his reincarnation.

The Land of Rain's goal was to rise in this war and become a new Great Ninja Village.

But no matter which of the two, achieving their goals would require dealing with Konoha, which made Torifu a bit annoyed.

He wasn't afraid, but investing too many resources in battle would cause Konoha's development in other areas to stagnate.

Torifu did not want to see Konoha's development dragged down by war.

Perhaps he could find a way to minimize Konoha's losses.

After leaving the Interrogation Department, Torifu did not go home immediately but headed straight for the Hokage Building.

After recalling the puppet that was working, Torifu sat in a chair and pulled out two pieces of paper, beginning to write furiously.

In just a moment, two letters were already written.

The content was roughly that Konoha had found the culprit, and hoped that the two Kage could come to Konoha for a small gathering to exchange intelligence and strive to eliminate him in one fell swoop.

The Sunagakure and Iwagakure's damage was still quite severe, having invested a lot of funds, but reconstruction was still not complete.

If they knew that the person who attacked them was from the Land of Rain, he wondered what they would think.

Then Torifu released the puppet. "Find someone to urgently deliver these two letters to Iwagakure and the Sunagakure later. They must be delivered within one week."

The puppet nodded and did not speak.

With the letters written, Torifu no longer needed to stay in the Office. He had been busy all morning and hadn't even had a bite to eat.

Thinking of this, Torifu left the Hokage Building, activated his Concealment Technique, and made his way to main street. At this moment, a new shop was bustling with its grand opening ceremony.

Many people came to support, and this was Teuchi's ramen shop, named Ichiraku Ramen.

Having gained fame on the night of the bonfire carnival, many people were now queuing outside, wanting to eat a bowl of tonkotsu ramen.

However, some people were deterred by the length of the queue, thinking they would have to wait until the afternoon to eat.

Torifu merely came to observe. With his Concealment Technique active, no one noticed him as he walked directly into the ramen shop.

This was different from the ramen shop in the original world. Due to Torifu's capital injection, Teuchi directly purchased the best located shop on main street, which was much larger than the one in the original world.

Teuchi was enthusiastically preparing noodles, and there were also some young waitstaff, likely looking to earn some pocket money.

Although Torifu, as a shareholder, didn't need to queue to eat, it wouldn't look good.

He walked around inside, felt it was quite good, and then hurried off to the barbecue restaurant.

"Hokage-sama, what would you like for lunch today?"

Torifu patted the boss's shoulder. "The usual. Bring twenty plates of meat first, I'm a bit hungry."

The boss, while instructing the staff to serve the food, said, "Where have you been? You smell a bit musty."

Torifu sniffed his sleeve. "I went to the Interrogation Department. It's very damp there, so a bit of smell is normal."

"Is that so? Although I don't know the specific situation, seeing a smile on Hokage-sama's face, I assume you've obtained some useful intelligence."

Torifu glanced at the boss, then nodded. "Of course, with the Yamanaka Clan Head invited, there were naturally no surprises."

In a short while, the dishes were brought out one by one. Torifu chatted with the boss while grilling the meat.

"Please help look after Teuchi's shop more. I think highly of him, and it's not easy for him to build something on his own."

The boss patted his chest upon hearing this. "Don't worry, Hokage-sama. Otherwise, how do you think his new shop could open so quickly? The documents he submitted were all approved by me; it was a special channel. Otherwise, it would take at least one or two days."

Chatting and eating with the boss like this, the twenty plates of meat were quickly consumed.

The boss was extremely impressed. Every time he saw Torifu eat, it made his jaw drop.

Twenty plates of meat disappeared in casual conversation, something even he, a member of the Akimichi Clan, couldn't do. It truly shamed the family's reputation.

"Alright, I'm heading back to the Clan. See you later."

"Alright, sir. Just contact me directly if anything comes up."

Rubbing his bulging belly, Torifu was satisfied.

He hadn't been to a barbecue in a while. Not only did he lack the time, but going alone always failed to pique his interest. Today, he was simply too hungry and had nowhere else to eat, which was why he came to the barbecue restaurant.

But the taste was still so good; he hadn't gotten tired of it after more than twenty years.

When Torifu returned to the Clan, Minato had just returned as well. The two met at the main gate, a feeling that was still somewhat novel.

"Oh? Weren't you supposed to be on a mission with Sakumo?"

Minato smiled upon hearing this. "Today's mission is complete. It was to find a kitten. I don't know why Sakumo-sensei took such a simple mission; I completed it easily by myself."

"Perhaps it was to train you all."

Torifu looked at the smile on Minato's face. He seemed to genuinely enjoy carrying out missions, with no complaints whatsoever in his tone.

Even simple missions were completed diligently. Ninja like Minato were too rare; even Torifu himself couldn't achieve that.

"Are you going out again tomorrow?"

Minato thought for a moment. "I remember Sakumo-sensei said he would take us to patrol around Konoha tomorrow. We probably won't be back until the afternoon."

"Keep up the good work. I can clearly feel you're constantly improving, which is excellent."

"Thank you, Big Brother."

The two walked into the Kumotsuru Clan together. Minato had just run a big circle searching for a cat within the village and was now covered in sweat, so he went inside to shower.

Torifu, meanwhile, began his afternoon nap. Setting up a chair in the courtyard, Torifu could lie on it all day long.

This was almost Torifu's standard routine after lunch every day. As for whether Minato had eaten, that was no longer Torifu's concern; a grown up child needed to learn to forage for himself.
