Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: This Piss Smells a Bit Strong

The only way to level up was by hunting and killing the creatures on the island to gain experience points.

Though the island wasn't particularly large, it was teeming with life. However, every single creature here was difficult to deal with. Even the ants weren't easy prey.

The only relatively easy target was the clams.

But those little guys hid beneath the sand, making them a hassle to dig up. On top of that, there weren't that many of them, so they weren't an efficient way to gain experience. Without enough experience, leveling up quickly was out of the question.

Hunting clams was clearly not a good option.

After a moment of thought, Han Feng suddenly came up with a better target—

The swarm of locusts in the grass!

These creatures were abundant, and if he could wipe them all out, he might even jump straight to Level 3.

Previously, Han Feng hadn't had a way to deal with the locusts. But now, he had come up with a vicious, foolproof plan that could annihilate them all in one go.

"Just wait for my revenge tomorrow," Han Feng muttered to himself, a cold smile curling on his lips. He then lay down on his straw mat.

Originally, he had planned to go back to sleep, but after the black wolf's unexpected appearance, sleep was the last thing on his mind.

So, instead, he opened the regional chat channel.

Wu Dahai: Brothers, are you all asleep?

Zhang Sheng: I was, but then I was jolted awake by a wolf's howl. I got up and took a look, and holy sh*t, there was a wolf standing outside my fence! Those glowing green eyes looked like something straight out of hellfire—I was nearly scared pissless!

Yang Xuliang: So you guys have a black wolf too? I thought I was just unlucky!

Su Lin: There was one here too, but weirdly enough, it didn't attack. It just stayed for a while and then left.

Chen Qiang: Where the hell did these black wolves come from? I scouted the island earlier and didn't see a single one!

Jiang Feng: Where they came from isn't the real issue. We have a much bigger problem on our hands.

Wu Dahai: What problem?

Jiang Feng, acting like some kind of sage, began his analysis:

Jiang Feng: These black wolves didn't just appear out of nowhere. This is a warning sign.

Li Chenguang: Can you speak in plain terms?

Jiang Feng: To put it simply, at first, the wolves won't attack us. But give it a few more days, and they'll probably come for us.

Momoka Kanna: I'm so scared! What should we do?

Jiang Feng: Either build a stronger shelter or improve your own combat abilities.

Xu Damao: But right now, we can't even feed ourselves properly, let alone upgrade our shelters or train for battle!

Jiang Feng: Then there's nothing left to do but wait for death.

Chen Qiang: You're just speculating! What if the wolves never attack us? Stop fearmongering!

Jiang Feng: If you knew what my talent was, you wouldn't doubt me.

Chen Qiang: And what talent is that?

Jiang Feng: My talent is foresight. It's a passive ability that activates whenever I sense danger. Just now, my talent triggered. The source of danger? Those black wolves.

Wu Dahai: So, you're saying we're all screwed?

Zhang Sheng: We're doomed! We can't possibly fight those beasts. Might as well accept our fate!

Peng Yu: Didn't your talent let you turn into a gorilla? What are you scared of? Fight it!

Zhang Sheng: I was born a coward. The moment I see those green eyes, my knees start shaking. How am I supposed to fight?

Xu Damao: What a waste! If I had that ability, I'd have already skinned that wolf alive!

Zhang Sheng: Oh, shut up! That's a black wolf, not a stray dog!

Xu Damao: Stop making excuses for being a coward.

Zhang Sheng: …

After skimming through the conversation, Han Feng silently closed the chat.

The situation was crystal clear now.

Black wolves had appeared on every island.

And in just a few days, they would definitely start attacking.

Time was running out.

They had only two choices: get eaten by the wolves or kill the wolves first.

There was no third option.

Han Feng took a deep breath, calming himself down before opening the trade market to browse through it.

After half an hour, drowsiness crept back in, so he lay down to rest.

Time passed quietly. No one knew how long it had been before the sun slowly rose in the east, driving away the darkness of night.

Golden sunlight spread across the land, bathing the world in light and hope.

As the rays of morning shone upon the shelter, they gently caressed every corner like a warm hand, filling the space with life and vitality.

"Big bro, wake up! Time for the morning piss!"

The voice of the entrenching shovel echoed through the peaceful dawn.

Han Feng yawned groggily, rubbing his eyes as he slowly sat up. He stretched his body, feeling the satisfying looseness in his limbs.

Just then, a beam of warm sunlight shone through the window, illuminating his sharp features.

Han Feng blinked a few times, then lazily got up and walked outside.

As he pushed open the door, he was greeted by dazzling sunlight and fresh air.

The warmth of the sun on his skin felt amazing.

Taking a deep breath, he soaked in the scent of nature. The exhaustion from the previous night seemed to melt away, along with all his worries.

For a while, he stood there in silence, gazing at the rising sun before greeting it with a smile.

"Good morning, Mr. Sun!"

The sun, as expected, didn't respond.

"Still playing hard to get, huh?" Han Feng muttered before making his way toward a secluded corner.

Then, loosening his waistband, he got ready to do his business.

It had become a morning ritual at this point.

Just as he was about to let loose, a voice suddenly rang out—

"Human! Stop right there!"

Han Feng quickly pulled his pants back up, glancing around. His eyes landed on a small sprout in the vegetable patch. It had already grown to about ten centimeters tall.

And apparently, it could talk.

"You grew this fast?" Han Feng was stunned.

He had just planted the seed yesterday afternoon, and now it was already sprouting? That was insane!

Han Feng squinted at the tiny plant and asked, "What do you want?"

The sprout wiggled slightly. "Didn't I tell you yesterday? Your urine is the best fertilizer. How could you just waste it? Hurry up, aim at my face—I'll drink every last drop!"

Han Feng smacked his lips.

Shrugging, he grabbed himself again and aimed.

A golden stream cascaded down, drenching the tiny plant.

"This piss smells a bit strong! Human, are you dehydrated? No worries, though—I love it!"

The sprout giggled happily.
