Chapter 315: The Era of the Douluo God Realm – Part V: Na'er

The large scale smelting of rare metals from across Douluo Star had drawn many powerful figures to the extreme north of the Holy Soul Continent, curious to witness the spectacle.

These metals had been collected under Ye Wen's directive to forge his own ultra divine artifact. Unlike traditional ultra divine artifacts, this one would be colossal in size and powerful beyond compare, one capable of ushering Douluo Star into a new era.

As Ye Wen released his divine sense, an astounding scene unfolded. Metal ingots, once rigid and solid, began to flow like molten liquid, morphing into various shapes.

While the layperson saw only a spectacle, experts in the crowd recognized the true depth of Ye Wen's material manipulation, leaving many god level onlookers in awe at his mastery. Before them, a mountain of metal gradually took the form of a massive circular frame.

This breathtaking ring, with a diameter of ten kilometers, embodied extraordinary craftsmanship and exuded a serene beauty in the sunlight. But the work was far from over. Ye Wen spent the following years meticulously embedding divine energy and inscribing complex divine runes throughout the structure.

The project took a full decade to complete due to material constraints, but Ye Wen felt gratified upon finally forming this preliminary ultra divine artifact. The immense work had not only drained his divine energy but also demanded considerable mental endurance a burden only he could understand.

Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King, handled this period of Ye Wen's distraction with grace, helping Ah Yin and the others manage Douluo Star's affairs. Her maturity and understanding led Ye Wen to truly accept her into his family. While their marriage had been largely political, meant to secure stability between humans and soul beasts, it had ultimately proven effective and necessary.

So, once Ye Wen had completed his artifact, he devoted much of his time to bonding with Gu Yuena. He knew that, despite her rational and often distant demeanor, Gu Yuena was a deeply sensitive woman.

From her birth, Gu Yuena had possessed the rational side of the Dragon God's essence but lacked life experience. Much of her knowledge had come from Di Tian's teachings, not from personal wisdom or memories inherited from the Dragon God. Thus, when Ye Wen chose to support her and the future of soul beasts, she readily abandoned her former vendetta and chose to stand by his side.

To Ye Wen's delight, the soul beasts, unlike humans, had fewer reservations. Once comfortable with Ye Wen, Gu Yuena revealed a playful and passionate side that only he witnessed, leaving him both surprised and thoroughly captivated. He spent the next while almost inseparable from her.

Until

One night, after another intense encounter with Gu Yuena, Ye Wen remembered some pressing affairs that required his attention. He tucked Gu Yuena in gently before heading out, while she, exhausted from a full day of "battle," drifted into a restful sleep. They had relied solely on physical endurance rather than divine power, making it an experience more intense and intimate.

As for Ye Wen's newfound stamina well, he'd long grown tired of being worn out and had rigorously trained his body and even implemented some minor physical enhancements. Now, he was confident enough to declare: I could go ten rounds!

Ye Wen and his family lived in the royal palace of the Holy Soul Empire, their ancestral home, which rivaled the grandeur of Earth's Forbidden City. Although Ye Wen had restructured the government into a parliamentary system, he kept the palace as a private residence for his family alone.

Their quarters within the palace contained the rooms of his wives and children. His second son, Ye Tianchen, had moved out after marrying two beautiful wives. However, Gu Yuena's daughter, Na'er, who Ye Wen considered his own, still resided in the palace, along with his six other children.

As Ye Wen approached the courtyard, he suddenly heard a soft, stifled sound of pain, barely audible but unmistakably filled with suffering.

Whose voice is that? He frowned, knowing that any pained sounds during cultivation, whether for a soul master or a god, signaled something serious. He followed the noise toward its source.

"That's Na'er's room!"

A surge of unease flooded Ye Wen's mind. Although Gu Yuena and Na'er were both family, they shared a complicated relationship, and he had arranged their quarters at opposite ends of the courtyard. His fatherly instinct overrode thought, and he rushed forward, pushing Na'er's door open.

The sight before him left him speechless.

Na'er was not struggling on the floor in pain as he'd feared. Instead, she lay sprawled on her bed, her long hair falling loosely around her shoulders, with her alluring violet eyes dazed and unfocused. Her only clothing was a pair of white stockings that accentuated her legs, while her flawless bare shoulder and collarbone left Ye Wen's pulse racing, his mind spinning.

What… on earth…

While he was still processing what he was seeing, Na'er, startled, noticed him at the door. Panicking, she grabbed a nearby blanket to cover herself.
