When Gloria saw that, she became even more confused but her confusion was soon solved by Cassy's response.
"We celebrate a lot of holidays. It's just that these celebrations are usually hosted by the committee. As the matriarch, if you want, you can participate, but the patriarch felt that it's a waste of time. Moreover, you just came, and the ceremony hasn't been held yet. So, until that happens, you can just be at ease and have fun without any pressure."
Gloria was baffled by that answer.
"Are you telling me that I can just sit around without doing anything?" she asked incredulously, not believing what she was hearing.
