Chapter 12 - Chapter 11 Honeymoon

They woke up early that morning in each other's arms and were as happy as they'd been in a long time. They took their packed clothes out to his challenger and headed to the airport. It was weird being around that many people and seeing all the demons that whispered fear into the ears of the passengers. Not only the fear, but all the depression and evil thoughts that were in the place. Some angels protected the minds of some, but they did nothing more than that, protect.

It was cool to see that every step they made in the direction of any of the demons they scattered. Took off away from them knowing that if they became of ear shot of them that they would send blinding light at them and destroy them in the blink of an eye. Content they continued on their way through the rest of the airport entrance.

They made their way through airport security and gave their passports to board. It was the first time Kristy had heard about Bora Bora. Jack looked at her as she beamed it him with excitement. He smiled knowing that he picked a nice relaxing place to get away for a while. It was also decently secluded.

Together, they boarded the plane and set off for the next few flights that led to Bora Bora. Before being able to go to Bora Bora they had to stop at Tahiti and go through customs. After that they were cleared to continue on their way.

When they finally got there the first thing Jack noticed was the smell of the salt water sea that surrounded the place. It made him feel small being surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, but also in awe of just how big God was and the beauties He could create. The water that surrounded the island was crystal clear. The shades of blue of the water was innumerable. Aside from his now wife he hadn't seen anything so beautiful.

The volcanic islands were amazingly beautiful. So was the bungalow that they were staying in. It was on stilts over the water. He couldn't wait to get into all the activities that they were going to do while there, but they were both exhausted and cuddled up on the bed together and slept the evening and night away. Jack only got up once to look over the water at night. Still as beautiful, and on the clear night sky the stars reflected off the water giving it an infinite look. He thanked God for the opportunity to see it.

When they woke up they didn't have much of a plan to do anything so they went to the beach and walked the shore. Walking hand in hand they stopped just in front of the water where the gentle waves rolled onto their feet. Kristy took a ragged breath. Something was on her mind, but it would take gentle prodding from Jack to get it out of her. Reluctant to disturb the peace of moment he asked, "What's wrong my love? Something seems to be weighing on you pretty heavily."

Her response came too quickly. "It's nothing."

Jack chuckled. "If it was nothing than you wouldn't be so troubled. Please tell me what's going on. We're here for some time away for peace and enjoy our marriage before trying to figure out about the orphanage and how we can help others.

"But that's it isn't it? You keep thinking about the demons we're not dispersing or the takers of our childhood."

She looked up at him, turning as to stand in front of him. "You know me better than you should… And yes I'm worried about both. That we're not doing enough in the moment to remedy all the wrongs of this world."

Jack looked into her eyes. He loved her so much for her passion. For her loving heart to help others in need, especially now that she had found these new found gifts. He smiled lovingly at her and brushed her cheek with his thumb. "I love you. And I promise you that we will do everything we can to make this right. No matter what okay?"

She leaned her head into his hand and smiled back at him putting her hands on his chest. He pulled her to him and kissed her gently as she put her head to his chest as well.

"Okay." She breathed.

"Now for the time being I'd like to spend the rest of our honeymoon loving on each other instead of worrying about what the future may hold okay?" He insisted.

"Okay. I think I can do that." She chuckled at him.

"Good." He let go of her and began tickling her.

They both began howling in laughter and Kristy took off down the beach letting out a joyful, and playful scream.

The rest of their time there was a blast for the both of them. They went diving and saw the aquatic life that was there to behold. The climbed up the side of Mount Pahia and looked out over the islands. Jack had a little more fun doing those things than Kristy, but she did them all for the sake of being with Jack anyway.

The time came and went like the blink of an eye, but he never felt closer to the love of his life. They reluctantly went to the airport to go back home. Taking it slow they pulled into the driveway and took a breath. Now the weight of everything they had to do fell upon them like a ton of bricks.
