Che has been in his room the whole weekend, even after coming from school he goes straight to his room. The final loss affected him for the whole week, even in the team last practice his body language was bad. And he was quiet the whole time.
Friday evening, he gets home late and goes straight to his room without greeting Eva. She doesn't bother him, but she is worried by his mental health.
After cooking dinner, she takes it to his room and knocks before walking in.
''Hey kiddo. I bought you some dinner.''
''I'm not hungry. Thank you, mom.''
''Come on, you have to eat. Even if it's just a little you know. To stay healthy.''
Che forces a smile and accepts the food.
''By the way, Daniel called me earlier. He said he wants to talk to you, so I gave him your number. Expect him to call you tomorrow if not tonight.''
Che nods but doesn't register what she said. She leaves the room, and he starts slowly eating the food. After just two bites he puts his plate on the floor next to the bed.
He gets a text from his phone, and it's from Amelie.
[Are you feeling any better today?]
[Asking me that everyday won't change my answer, Amelie.] He replies.
[I'm just worried, you were in a bad mood this whole week. Even Adrian is worried.]
[Thank you, for being worrying, but I'll be fine.]
[Okay if you say so... and by the way, Adrian knows were dating lol.]
[Haha, you never told him? And how did he find out?]
[I was planning to, but I forgot. And it just slipped out of me when we were talking about you. His reaction was so funny, he said he'll kill you when you get better.]
[That's so funny... and you allowed him to say that about me? Wow, here's I am thinking you'd fight for me.]
[You think I'd fight off my brother to protect you? Do you know how crazy strong that boy is?''
Che finds himself chuckling at the message. [You're his sister aren't you supposed to be as strong? XDXD.]
While texting he is interrupted by a call from an unknown number. He looks at it and doesn't recognize it and declines the call. The number calls again, and he declines it again, but the person keeps persisting and he finally accepts the call.
''Hallo? Who is this?''
"¡Dios mío!! Guito[1]! It's me Daniel. Why aren't you answering your phone?'' He shouts in relief after getting an answer.
''Dani?! Didn't know it was you, why are you calling me with an unknown number?''
''Because I don't have your number... and I expected your mother to tell you that I would call you.''
''Oh, okay sorry. What's up what's going on?''
''Something big is going on Guito. I tell you this will be big for you.'' He sounds happy over the phone.
''Yeah okay.'' Che doesn't seem convinced. ''What is it.''
''Have you read the article?''
''What article? Dani man what are you talking about.''
''The article chico! The article!''
''Shouting it over and over won't make me know more about it.''
''Okay before we continue about the topic at hand, I've been meaning to ask you, Will you allow me to be your agent?''
Che smiles. ''Nice! Definitely man. I've been waiting for you to ask me that.''
''Okay, okay. Good.''
''Is that it? I'm glad that you got to be my agent but that can't be the reason for me to read an article.''
''No, no that's not why I called you... primarily. I meant to call you about Bayern Munich.''
''Bayern Munich...''
''They want to offer you a contract Guito. A contract!'' Daniel squills. ''I asked one of their scouts to look into you, and they watched you at the cup final. She said that they liked you and are very interested in signing you!''
Che gets silent, he drops his phone on his lap. Daniel keeps talking but he can't hear him, until his wakes up from his daydream and picks up the phone.
''Are you listening to me Guito?''
''What?''
''I'll talk to you tomorrow. I'll be on my way to Stuttgart tomorrow, we'll talk about everything.''
After Daniel drops the call, Che scrolls on the internet and searches for the article. And he sees it on a website and clicks on it.

Che looks at his phone after reading the book, he knows that this could be something big for him. He switches it off and lays on the bed.
Hours go by and its early hours of the morning, and he looks at the time on his phone. It's 2 AM. He has been thinking about this for hours, about the pros and cons.
About him leaving Stuttgart, and starting in a fresh city, without his mother. He goes on to think himself into a spiral of self-doubt and fear.
But he suppresses those thoughts with the thought of what can be best for him moving forward.
''For me to best, I'll do what's necessary.''
He looks up to him to his ceiling.
''I won't ever be scared again.''
He's finally able to close his eyes and get himself to fall asleep.
[1] For you who don't know or haven't caught up with this fact. Daniel is from Paraguay or is Paraguayan. And Che in Spanish or Guaraní (The other language they speak in Paraguay.) means ''My''. If for example someone says ''My house'' in Guarani, it means “Che róga’i”
So, Daniel decided to give him the nickname ''Guito''. Which is short for ''Amiguito'' and means ''little friend''. So that he doesn't confuse Che's name with his language.
