I wiped off the tears from my face some more, and after applying light make-up on my face which was now puffy from the tears, I stepped out of the closet, and out of the bedroom. I was heading outside, where Leonard's message had asked me to go.
My movement was slow even though my heart was racing and willing me to walk as fast as possible but the weight of the message was so heavy on me, making my stomach churn sweetly as I moved, and making it impossible to walk any faster than I did.
I could not stop myself from reminiscing about Leonard's message as I walked slowly. Walking slowly made it feel like I was guarding the message, and preserving the sweet sensation it brought me.
Once I stepped into the large sitting room downstairs, the lights immediately went off, and after a few seconds, it came back on, illuminating the room, and showing me just how many people were in the room at the moment.
