I woke up two hours earlier than usual this morning. It was not as a result of a nightmare or a noise from anywhere but it was as I had planned it. It was our third anniversary today, and even though neither Nicole nor I had said anything about it, I had plans. I had plans to make the day a special one for Nicole.
The first thing I did after climbing out of bed was to turn off the alarm so that Nicole wouldn't wake up as early as she always does after which I brought out the yellow coloured memo pad where I had written short messages for Nicole. It was time to place the messages where I wanted Nicole to get them.
I headed for the bathroom. Aside from cleaning up, there was something else I needed to do in the bathroom. I needed to leave Nicole a message but where will I keep it that would be conspicuous enough for her?
