Her brows knitted as she muttered in dissatisfaction, "What, you don't believe I want to treat you well?"
Derek: "No."
He answered with clean finality.

She instantly threw herself into his arms, fingers twisting at the firm muscles beneath his shirt, threatening, "What did you just say?"
Derek lowered his gaze at her mock-fierce look, a laugh rumbling low in his chest. "See? I didn't even say anything yet, and you're already showing your true colors."
