As the final item of the auction event was pushed out, it was once again covered in cloth.
"And now! For the final item of the auction event. It's an exciting piece of art!"
He moved and yanked off the cloth, revealing a… cat girl.
She had light brown hair, actual cat ears and tails.
She was dressed in rags. Torn and barely covering anything.
Just then, the hooded figure next to Ning FengZhi started to tremble… like they were holding in anger.
Tang San noticed immediately and had suspicions on the two.
"Now this girl we are auctioning belongs to a noble family from a small country in the outskirts." The man explained.
"She has a cat martial soul, but due to mutations. The martial soul is now permanently apart of her! Giving her, the signature cat ears and tails. Very soft indeed…" the man said slyly as he traced his hand along her tail.
She moved away quickly, to the opposite side of the cage and continued to try and cover what she could with her hands.
She trembled from the cold air in the auditorium.
"Heh, if you successfully buy this! Then you'll be the most popular person on the continent!"
"This is a treat! I am set to get you!" Xue Xing watched with lustful eyes, almost drooling.
The hooded figure stood up suddenly but was forced back into their seat by Ning FengZhi.
"Calm down, Don't be rash." He ordered as he held the figure down.
"The starting price is 200 thousand! Bidding starts now!"

"Xiao Wu, let's buy her and set her free."
"Xiao San, that's not a good idea…"
"Liu Yan, are you saying we let her be bought by those men?" Xiao Wu said in outrage.
"No, I'm saying that you won't be able afford her, these men are clearly way richer than us combined. It would not even match one."
"And plus, even if you do buy her and set her free, would she just not be caught and sold again?"
"I…" Xiao Wu's words trailed off…
"The young man is right. These old men are businessmen and royals. Their wealth is immeasurable. So please, let me do my job." Ning FengZhi commented.
Xiao Wu could only supress her hatred for these people.

"Damn it! Why the hell is it not working!" Xue Xing yelled in frustration.

"Then go get some more!!" He ordered as he stood up and watched the bidding.
"Tch, you bumpkins. When I get more money you won't dare to bid against me."
"Sir, your account has been frozen because someone reported you of corruption!" His assistant came running back with the report.
"What?! How can this be!" He looked at it frantically.
"Damn it! I'll just use my position to get the girl then!" He thought as he pulled off the curtains.
"Stop!" The word echoed across the auditorium.
"This is your majesty, Prince Xue Xing."
"He has set his eyes on the girl and adds 50 thousand more gold coins. I hope you all give him some face and show respect." His assistant announced.
The people at the auction cursed him internally in frustration.
They could have had her, but he had to show up.
Xiao Wu couldn't help it anymore, she pressed a button and outbidded Xue Xing in 10 thousand gold.
"Who did that?! Can't you show some respect for me?! The prince?" Xue Xing cursed out.
"Your majesty, using you status to buy out a cat girl. The emperor would not be happy if he found out would he?" Ning FengZhi stood up and challenged him.
"So it was this guy who reported me." Xue Xing gritted his teeth in anger.
"Let's go now." Ning FengZhi and the hooded figure stepped out to go get the girl.
Xiao Wu and Tang San also ran out.

Liu Yan stood up and walked off with the rest.

The door creaked open, and there the cat girl was.
The hooded figure stepped forward, only tk be blocked by Xiao Wu.
"Hold on! We bought her, what do you think you're trying to do!" She demanded their explanation.
The hooded figure suddenly darted past Xiao Wu.
Xiao Wu grabbed her cloak, pulling it off, revealing a older cat woman?
"My daughter!!" She dived and hugged her daughter.
"Mum!!" They embraced each other while crying.
After their reunion,
Ning FengZhi ushered them to run back to their country.
"Go, before they catch up. There will be a carriage outside the gate, get in and it'll take you back." He explained.
"Stop right there!" Xue Xing burst through the double doors at the end of the corridor.
Xue Xing's assistant dashed forward, using his soul skill and sent a scarlet fox at Ning FengZhi.
A black portal appeared right in front of the attack, blocking the attack.
The same man that appeared and captured Tai Tan had appeared.
"Uncle Gu, make sure not to hurt them too much." Ning FengZhi warned.
"Who the hell are you?!" Xue Xing asked.
Ning FengZhi took his mask off, finally showing his face.
Xue Xing stumbled back in fear.
"Ning FengZhi! The leader of Seven Treasured Glazed Pagoda Sect! Forget I was ever here!" Xue Xing ran away as quick as he could."
Ning FengZhi watched Xue Xing run off, before turning to the three.
"I'm sorry. I was busy taking care of some stuff and forgot to introduce myself. I'm Ning FengZhi, RongRong's father."
Tang San and Xiao Wu stared in shock.
Liu Yan however already knew this.
"And you three must be… Xiao Wu, Tang San and Liu Yan" he remembered the names his daughter mentioned.
