In a corridor in the auction house,
"Nice to meet you, we are Tang San and Xiao Wu." They introduced themselves the moment they confirmed the other's identity.
"I am Liu Yan"
"So, it really is classmates of RongRong. Xiao San? If I may call you that?" Ning FengZhi said.
"Yes, that'll be fine."
"I have seen those hidden weapons of yours. They truly are fascinating. I hope you can help us in getting more of these hidden weapons."
"Yes, that'll be fine!" Tang San said excitedly.
"I have already found a master blacksmith. He will be able to help with mass producing these hidden weapons."
"No introduction is needed, they've already met." The bone dragon douluo said as he opened a portal.
Slowly, Tai Tan emerged from the portal.
The moment he saw Tang San, he ruhed forward and bowed deeply on his knees.
"Young master!!"
"Wha-huh?! What's going on" Tang San tried to have Tai Tan stand up but he refused.
He looked up,
"Your martial soul is blue silver grass and Clear Sky Hammer right?! Then your father must be Tang Hao!"
"H-how did you…"
"I finally found you, young master!" Tai Tan finally bowed deeply on his knees again.
"Tang San… Tang Hao…" Ning FengZhi thought about it and smirked. Truly a small world this was.
"Uncle Gu, please. Take us to a quiter place."
Uncle nodded before teleporting everyone somewhere else.
"You are a member of the clear sky clan." Tai Tan explained to Tang San about his Clear Sky Hammer's origin.
"And there were a few people that Martial Soul Hall was afraid of… Clear Sky Douluo"
Tang San could only stare in shock.
"Did master not tell you anything?"
Silence
"May I speak with young master alone?"
Bone dragon douluo merely snapped fingers, before a door appeared.
Tang San, Xiao Wu and Tai Tan stepped through the door before shutting the door.
"So, Liu Yan. That golem you have created, what are its capabilities?" Ning FengZhi turned to Liu Yan.
"Well, just like the person holding the soul tool malet back in the auditorium said, by injecting soul power directly into the golem. Only then would it listen to your command."
Ning FengZhi nodded in silence.
After a few minutes of discussion, and Ning FengZhi asking about his daughter's behaviour in the academy, Tang San and Tai Tan finally walked out.
Tai Tan bid farewell to Ning FengZhi before leaving to search for Tang Hao.
Tang San however, he looked very under the weather.
"Xiao San, is your father alright?" Ning FengZhi asked.
"You knew him too?" Tang San in an almost surprised tone.
"Your dad was very famous back then, Xiao San. I always heard about stories of the youngest douluo from my dad. Though he never knew the real name, I can't believe it's your dad who was in those stories." Liu Yan made up a story.
"Even you…." Tang San seemed to be further be upset.
"Forget it, let's just go." Xiao Wu comforted him and dragged him away. Through the portal to the exit of the realm.
"I'll be heading off too, Elder Ning." Liu Yan bid farewell before he was handed 2 cards.
"One is for Xiao San's hidden weapon. One is for your golem." He explained.
"Thank you…." Liu Yan took the cards and left promptly.
A few days has since passed,
Tang San was still depressed about his situation and worrying about his dad.
In the middle of Sunset Forest,
"Flender, you take care of MuBai as he absorbs his soul ring. I'll go search for their soul beasts for Liu Yan and Ying Xuan with them." ErLong said
Flender nodded and stayed around Dai MuBai as he absorbed his fourth ring. A purple ring.
Although Flender wasn't as hard hitting as ErLong, his martial soul gave him heightened senses, allowing him more time to react.
ErLong walked through the forest with Liu Yan and Ying Xuan.
Silence
Suddenly, there was rustling in the bushes.
Immediately, their martial souls were released… nothing still.
They walked slowly towards the bushes, where there were more sounds from further away.
They peeked over,
There was a diamond horned viper, and Golden Skinned Falcon.
The two soul beasts were fighting,
Sssssssss
It hissed before going for a bite. But the golden skin falcon got its name for a good reason. The teeth barely punctured through before the snake's head started to be pelted by its beak.
The viper let go instantly but the falcon didn't. It leveraged its legs and held onto the viper tightly, not letting it go. The viper thrashed around wildly.
Thump, thump
Hssssssssss
It opened it's mouth and revealed its fangs, before releasing gas.
"Venom." ErLong warned before she pulled out 3 cloths. One for each to cover their mouth and nose tightly.
Now only the silhouette of the bird could be seen, it shook its head repeatedly, tryingto see clearly. When the snake launched up, and rammed its horn onto it's chest.
Clang
The golden skin saved the falcon from being punctured in the chest with a horn, but it suffered more blunt force damage.
It fell onto the ground, struggling to breathe.
Slither
Ssssssssss
The viper slithered over, before opening its mouth wide….
And it lunged. One of its fangs stabbed squarely inti the falcon's eye. Injecting venom into it.
It thrashed again and again, trying to escape death's graps. But the viper would not let up.
It pushed more and more venom through its eye.
"We better act now, we can get two soul rings right here right now." Liu Yan stood ready before jumping in.
Erlong could not even say anything before being forced to jump in to intervene.
The viper's eyes contrated rapidly when it felt danger. It let go immediately. Before turning an releasing more venomous gas.
Sssssssss
It moved like a wraith in the fog, unseen until it struck.
ErLong, Liu Yan and Ying Xuan stood with their backs facing each other.
Hssssss!!!
It lunged, ramming its horn straight at ErLong.
She barely caught the horn in time before it hit her. The viper pushed again and again. But only had it been a 10 thousand year old soul beast, it would have stand a chance aganst the explosive murder corner of Golden Iron Triangle.
She got a better grip, before slamming it onto the ground repeatedly.
The viper tried to retreat but she didn't let up at all.
Liu Yan created a spike above the viper's head and neck joint and sent it straght down.
Criiiiiisk
Splat
The viper dropped dead slowly, it's slimy body finally falling limp.
Everyone breathed heavily. That was… too close.
Erlong let go of the horn before scolding Liu Yan.
"What the hell were you thinking?! You can't just jump in like that! You could have gotten yourself killed!"
"Forgive me, teacher ErLong. I just thought that… we could get both since the viper might be tired from its fight."
"Stop being so reckless and arrogant. You, are not that strong yet."
ErLong then turned to Ying Xuan.
"Kill the falcon before it dies from poison."
Ying Xuan nodded before walking over to the falcon.
She whispered, prayers for its life. Before using the sharp edges of her wings and stabbing through the top of its mouth and into the brain.
Splosh
Her wings were stained with blood, but she shook them off.
ErLong, slowly dragged the falcon closer to the viper, before standing guard fo them to absorb the soul ring.
"Absorb the soul ring while there's no danger here." She ordered.
Both of them sat cross legged facing their own soul beast.
A purple ring emerged from the falcon.
A dark purple slowly materialised from the viper.
They both closed their eyes, as the soul ring floated towards them…
