Chapter 225 - 225 safe and sound standing on the board

A once-in-a-decade wave...

It had finally arrived!

Rain poured down.

Heavier and heavier.

In the skies above, thunder flashed intermittently, illuminating the looming catastrophe.

If an ordinary person were to face such a disaster, their legs would already be trembling in fear, not knowing what to do.

But—

This was the Kamui Pirates.

Without exception, they were the strongest of the strong.

Anyone who had once underestimated the Kamui Pirates had paid a steep price.

Either beaten to death…

Or sent straight to hell, reflecting on their wasted lives.

In the eyes of the world, anyone who could stay aboard the Kamui Pirates' ship for even a short time was no ordinary person.

Even the trainee crew members were absolute powerhouses—far from any "trash" in the New World.

Just think: during the Summit War, the two great powers—the Marines and the Whitebeard Pirates—couldn't stop the Kamui Pirates.

Instead, they were defeated by them.

That battle alone was enough to show the world how terrifyingly insane the Kamui Pirates really were.

With such a monstrous crew aboard, how could mere waves pose a threat?

"Susanoo."

Leaning casually against the wall, Uchiha Madara whispered softly.

In the next instant—

A gigantic phantom materialized in the air!

Taller than a giant, the colossal figure stretched out its palm and, in the blink of an eye, blocked the towering wave crashing toward them.

The others reacted too.

"How interesting."

Gojo Satoru, seemingly doing nothing, hadn't activated any visible ability. Yet, as the massive wall of seawater surged toward him—it simply vanished.

Gone.

Anyone unfamiliar with Gojo's technique would have been dumbfounded by the sight.

But everyone present knew exactly what had happened.

Despite appearing relaxed, Gojo had quietly activated his Limitless Technique, manipulating space itself to keep the waves at bay.

Suddenly, Artoria raised her head, gripping her invisible sword tightly.

With a single slash, she sent a massive burst of sword energy hurtling forward.

Swish!

In the distance, the ocean's surface was sliced open, forming a long ravine across the sea.

Such a sight was more than enough to prove the terrifying power behind Artoria's swordsmanship.

Meanwhile, Pain (Nagato) didn't bother with the waves.

Instead, he targeted the skies.

"The sound of thunder is irritating."

"Disappear."

With a simple wave of his hand—

The thunder that had crackled overhead vanished without a trace.

Gone. Completely.

"The youngsters these days are really something. My old bones must be falling behind…"

Unlike the others, Bang (Silver Fang) didn't use any flashy abilities. He simply relied on his pure martial arts to stand firm against the shaking deck and howling winds.

For many, this trial would've been daunting.

But not for Bang.

He saw obstacles like this as opportunities—moments that could push him forward and help refine his strength.

He knew that true power didn't come from talent alone.

It came from accumulated battle experience—from finding flaws through every fight and fixing them, over and over, until one grew stronger.

And now, facing Kronos' latest test, Bang didn't treat it as a crisis.

To him, it was a battle.

A battle between man and nature.
