Chapter 227 - 227 The more enemies, the better

Being able to survive in the New World for so long, and even control such a vast territory, was enough to prove just how powerful Whitebeard was.

But!

Uchiha Madara was someone qualified to say otherwise.

Why?

Because he was just that powerful.

"I hope there are a few strong ones in the Whitebeard Pirates,"

Bang Gu said with a smile, the glint of battle still burning in his aged eyes.

Don't be fooled by Bang Gu's age.

His heart had never grown old.

Fighting strong opponents wasn't just his duty—it was his obsession and his joy.

Seeing everyone so excited, Kronos couldn't help but laugh.

He joked casually,

"Maybe in the future, our opponent won't just be Whitebeard. We might even end up fighting multiple Yonko crews at once."

Even at the suggestion of facing combined Yonko forces, none of the core crew members showed the slightest fear.

Only the trainee crew members began to panic.

What did the captain mean by that?

Was he warning them in advance?

Did that mean they'd soon be fighting several Emperor crews at once?

If that was the case… did they even stand a chance?

After all, their potential enemies…

Were the Kings of the Sea!

Not a single Yonko was weak. Each one was monstrously powerful.

Suddenly!

Artoria seemed to sense something. She spoke softly but seriously:

"Up ahead. A large number of unidentified ships."

"Most likely… the enemy."

This sudden announcement nearly made the trainee crew wet themselves.

The crisis of the giant waves had just passed, and now… enemies again?

Even without Artoria's warning, powerhouses like Uchiha Madara had sensed the same thing.

Almost at the same moment, they picked up the presence of numerous unidentified ships heading straight toward them.

Within five minutes, contact was inevitable.

But no one knew yet—

Who were they?

Was it the Whitebeard Pirates?

Or some other force?

Albedo spoke coldly.

"It doesn't matter who they are. The fact that they dare to appear here means they're clearly not friends of the Kamui Pirates."

Pain shared the same cold logic.

"I agree. It's better if we strike first… and wipe them all out."

"Dealing with a group of nobodies like them is nothing for us."

"It'll be over in moments."

Konan, silent as ever, was already preparing for battle.

Sheets of paper formed around her like blades, fluttering silently at her sides.

As long as Kronos gave the order, she would deliver a fatal blow, making anyone who dared challenge the Kamui Pirates pay the ultimate price.

Gojo Satoru, still as carefree as ever, laughed lazily.

"Now things are getting interesting… I wonder what surprises are waiting for us this time."

Everyone present was already prepared to fight at a moment's notice.

But.

They weren't rushing in.

Because.

They were waiting for the order.

One by one, their eyes turned toward Kronos.

Each gaze seemed to say:

"Captain. Give the order."

However—

Kronos, calmly sipping from his glass, smiled slightly and spoke slowly:

"Don't rush."

"Let's watch for now."

"Maybe… they're old acquaintances."
