What was even more terrifying was that, even now, the Sea Emperors might still have no idea what was really going on. They were all being kept in the dark, completely unaware of the true situation.

As soon as these words left his mouth, war-hungry crew members like Uchiha Madara didn't show the slightest hint of fear. Instead, their eyes lit up with excitement.
"What? Even the Marines are coming? That's perfect!"
"I didn't get to kill enough of them last time. I've been itching for another fight. I wonder if we'll run into a Marine Admiral this time!"
Uchiha Madara was instantly fired up, itching for a battle with one of the Admirals.
Like him, Senju Hashirama also found the situation more and more interesting. In fact, everything that had happened so far was exactly the kind of scenario he had been hoping for.
With a cheerful grin, Hashirama said,
"I've heard there's a top-tier Marine powerhouse known as the Marine Hero. I wonder if I'll get to meet him this time. I really want to test my strength against him!"
Uchiha Madara snorted coldly.
"If it's Garp you're talking about, then forget it—he's my prey. You're not allowed to take him!"
Hashirama, at first only mildly interested in Garp, couldn't resist teasing Madara.
"Alright then, we'll just have to see who gets to him first! Maybe you won't even get the chance to make a move before I've already taken him down!"
Madara's temper flared instantly.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's that supposed to mean? Are you seriously trying to steal my prey?"
Hashirama chuckled at his irritation, clearly enjoying himself.
"Hahaha! Well, it's simple—let's see whose skills are better. If you can't keep up, don't blame anyone else!"
While Madara and Hashirama bickered, the rest of the crew had their own heated discussions.
Some were eager to fight legendary veterans like Garp and Sengoku, others bragged about defeating an Admiral, and a few even claimed they would wipe out the entire Marine fleet.
All in all, every one of them was brimming with confidence. Not a single one believed they could lose to the Marines.
Defeat?
That was simply impossible!
Compared to the regular crew of the Kamui Pirates, the newer recruits—trainee members who had just joined and whose bounties barely exceeded 100 million—were far less enthusiastic.
For them, the news that the Marines might also join this battle was like a bolt from the blue. They couldn't quite believe it… and a creeping sense of unease began to set in.
Facing the Whitebeard Pirates alone was already trouble enough.
