He had a lot of thoughts in his head, even patiently waiting for her to speak.
To his surprise, Summer Sutton only fed him, and aside from asking if the food was good, she didn't say anything else.
Adrian Walyon still couldn't believe her intention was that simple.
"Baby, if there's something you want, just say it. When have I ever not agreed to something you've asked?" He pulled her onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist.
Summer Sutton froze for a few seconds, couldn't help but roll her eyes at him.
"Nothing." She really just wanted to come over tonight, no hidden agenda.
"Really?" Adrian Walyon doubted.
"Really." Summer Sutton fed him a spoonful of green beans, "It's just that being alone at home and not waiting for you to come back, I couldn't sleep."
Her sleeplessness meant she was worried about how late he'd have to work overtime, if he'd had dinner, and when he'd get to sleep, thinking about him kept her awake.
